Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed (Xavier Woods) will become free agents in just over two months. It is expected that the former tag team champions of WWE will land in a major company, with All Elite Wrestling being the most rumored and desired destination by a large part of their fans. A group that also includes some talents from Tony Khan's company, as revealed in the latest report from Fightful.

"All Elite Wrestling is the destination that is naturally speculated for the duo, who have already been announced for GalaxyCon this month. We are informed that, in addition to this event, there are already other convention dates not yet announced scheduled for both, who are shaping up as major attractions and will have a high demand in that circuit," the media wrote.

"However, within AEW, there is unanimity among more than a dozen sources we spoke with regarding wanting Kofi and Austin Creed in the company. In most situations, there is usually at least one person who disagrees for some reason. However, during the first few weeks since their departure, everyone we spoke with was in agreement. Additionally, we were told a number of big names in AEW were internally pushing for both of them to join the company," Fightful wrote.

Despite having worked exclusively in WWE, Kofi and Austin Creed have universal respect among the stars of all the promotions we spoke with, although everyone expects AEW to be their next destination

Creed and Kingston left WWE at the beginning of the month amidst a wave of layoffs in the company. In the case of the former tag team champions, it was a voluntary departure after not accepting a pay cut. Like the rest of the released talent, both wrestlers will have to comply with a 90-day non-compete clause before being able to officially sign with another company.
