AMC and TNA+ aired last night the 1139th episode of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!, live from the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California. The show, the nineteenth of the AMC era, featured several matches and segments of interest, including a battle royal to determine the next challenger for the TNA World Championship and the main event of the night, where Cedric Alexander won the X-Division Championship by defeating Leon Slater in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match.
- Eric Young won a battle royal to earn a shot at the TNA World Championship. Young ultimately eliminated Elijah to secure the victory. The rest of the participants were: Brian Myers, Bear Bronson, Eddie Edwards, Mustafa Saed, Special Agent 0, Frankie Kazarian, Vincent, Dutch, BDE, Mr. Elegance, The Home Town Man, and Jason Hotch.
- Gia Miller interviewed Leon Slater backstage before his match against Cedric Alexander. "I've never been more prepared. I'm ready to make history," he said. Slater pointed out that his title defense was not only about forging his legacy, but also defining who he was, who he is, and who he wants to be, which is nothing less than the youngest X-Division Champion with the longest reign in history. The Hardys appeared to show their confidence in Leon, assuring him that he can always count on them. Slater thanked them for their words, and the segment came to an end.
- Gia Miller interviewed Mustafa Ali (with the rest of Order 4) backstage. The TNA International Champion scolded his teammates for their defeat in the battle royal, reproaching them for failing him once again. With that said, he announced that next week the open challenge for his championship will return, hoping to face the best possible opponents. Order 4 left the scene, and Eric Young appeared. He reminded everyone that he had taken down Joe Hendry, Ricky Sosa, and EC3. Now it's Mike Santana's turn, promising to snatch the TNA World Championship from him.
- Léi Yǐng Lee delivered a promo in the ring. "You deserve it!" chanted the fans before the wrestler could speak. "Last week was the best night of my life. I've fought all my life for this moment. I defeated Arianna Grace to become once again the Knockouts World Champion. I'm very proud to bring this title back to TNA," she said. "TNA, TNA!" cheered the fans. "I apologize. My English is not very good," Lee continued. "I always speak from my heart, and I want to say thank you. THANK YOU. I couldn't have done this without you, guys!" she exclaimed.
Xia Brookside interrupted the moment to mock her former partner and her celebration with the fans. "I have my eyes on that title, and sooner or later it will be mine," said the British wrestler to make her intentions clear. Lee shouted at her in Chinese, but Xia refused to translate for the audience. "I said I'll beat you here and now in Sacramento, bitch!" shouted the champion. Brookside pretended to enter the ring, but she was just playing with Lee. Xia boasted of having mentally and emotionally destroyed her, and soon she will do it physically. Then, that title will be around her waist. Brookside headed back to the backstage, calling Lee a "bitch" before leaving. Lee posed with the championship to end the segment.
- The System as a whole delivered a promo backstage. Eddie Edwards lamented the failure of the opener's battle royal, but it didn't matter because the faction remains the biggest threat in TNA. Bear Bronson and Brian Myers addressed Moose directly to make it clear that he will never be able to "break" The System. Cedric Alexander, on his part, promised that Leon Slater would not be able to write his name in the history books because he would snatch the X-Division Championship from him in the night's main event.
- Gia Miller interviewed Keith Jardine by the audience barrier as part of the promotion for his latest movie, "Over Your Dead Body." The Elegance Brand quickly interrupted the interview, with The Personal Concierge suggesting to Keith to consider Mr. Elegance, a real man. Jardine countered by mocking Mr. Elegance, who furiously confronted the former MMA fighter. Security quickly appeared to escort The Elegance Brand back to the backstage. Meanwhile, Miller apologized to Keith for what happened.
- AJ Francis defeated KC Navarro in a SacTown Street Fight. Francis delivered a chokeslam to Navarro, causing him to land on two tables at ringside. He then brought him back to the ring to cover him.
- Mike Santana delivered a promo in the ring. The TNA World Champion addressed Eric Young, acknowledging him as one of the foundational pillars of the company. However, he has already faced other legends on the roster and defeated them all. Young may have created this place, but Santana is THE GUY of this new era. Daria Rae interrupted Mike to inform him that Young will not be his next opponent, but Steve Maclin, as his last title match was stopped by the referee. Rae revealed that Maclin has been medically cleared, announcing that he will be Santana's opponent next week with the TNA World Championship on the line. Santino Marella appeared to remind everyone that he is still the top authority in TNA. However, Rae's idea seemed very good for business to him. With that said, he announced that Indi Hartwell has renewed her contract with the company. Something that Rae did not like. Marella also expressed pride in the company's two world champions. Rae called Santino "father of the year" for being happy about his daughter's defeat. Marella made it clear that he loves his daughter, but she has been "corrupted" by Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. Santana interrupted the conversation to refocus on his upcoming title defense. Mike assured that he doesn't care who his opponent is because the result won't change: his boot on the challenger's backside while the referee counts to three. With this statement, the segment came to an end.
- Rosemary and Allie (with Mara Sadé) defeated Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore (with Tessa Blanchard) in a tag team match. Rosemary applied an As Above, So Below on Crawford for the victory.
- The Hardys delivered a brief promo backstage directed at The Righteous. "You unleashed the monsters of the Broken Universe!," exclaimed Matt. Meanwhile, "Brother Nero" hummed along with his brother. He acknowledged that Vincent and Dutch are two talented and charismatic wrestlers, but next week they will face two "gods" who will render them "obsolete."
- Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match to win the X-Division Championship in the main event of the night. Slater secured the first fall early in the match by surprising Cedric with a roll-up. Alexander tied the score by hitting a Lumbercheck on the champion, the same move that granted him the second and decisive fall.
- After the match, former WWE superstar Fabian Aichner made his TNA debut to make it clear that he intends to win the X-Division Championship. And thus, the episode came to an end.
