As the UFC Freedom 250 event in June approaches, more details are being revealed. The UFC event is being promoted as one of the biggest spectacles in the company's history and will take place at the South Lawn of the White House as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. On Monday, it was announced that the Zac Brown Band would perform the National Anthem and offer a concert, and it was recently confirmed that WWE will participate along with their partner TKO with meet and greet sessions.
During a recent WWE RAW show, Michael Cole announced the WWE superstars who will participate in the Fan Fest. Charlotte Flair, The Miz, Chelsea Green, Trick Williams, The Usos, Bron Breaker, and Tiffany Stratton will be present. The Fan Fest will take place on June 13 and 14, although the schedule has not been announced yet. Additionally, 24 UFC fighters have been confirmed for the Fan Fest, so it is unknown if other WWE superstars will be added.
WWE seems to have a close relationship with the White House, as Linda McMahon is the Secretary of Education. Paul Levesque is involved in the President Trump's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has appeared in White House videos on social media. It was recently announced that Zoe Hines, RFK Jr.'s niece, will join WWE. Last year, several superstars attended a military rally organized by Trump.
The event will take place at The Ellipse, the park located right next to the White House, during the same weekend as UFC Freedom 250. Tickets for the event are free, although fans will need to participate in a lottery for the chance to attend.
