Darby Allin is one of the most fearless wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling and, probably, in the entire industry. The current World Champion has shown on countless occasions a total disregard for the risks involved in his dangerous spots for his own health. Still, Allin has made it clear that this is his way of fighting and that he has no intention of changing his style.

In this sense, during a recent interview for ESPN, Darby was specifically asked about a spot he starred in with Clark Connors at AEW Revolution. In it, the member of The Dogs applied a spear on the apron area, causing both to plummet to the ground.

"Connors had just arrived at AEW and it was his first pay-per-view, so he had to make an impact. I've been through that and I know what it feels like to want to make a mark, so I thought about helping him have his moment," said Allin.

When asked how he can keep fighting like this, Darby replied: "I've practically spent my nine lives, so I have no answer for that. If the worst thing that can happen to me is to die, so be it. It's okay, but it's not worth sitting around watching life go by without doing anything interesting with it."

Allin won the company's World Championship after defeating MJF in the special episode of AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru. With his victory, Darby began one of the most intense reigns in the company's memory. In just 35 days, Allin has defended the title 6 times. Tonight, he will once again put the belt on the line against "Speedball" Mike Bailey in the double episode of Dynamite/Collision before Double or Nothing, where he will defend the championship against MJF in a "title vs. hair" match.
