The superstar of WWE Marcel Barthel, better known as Ludwig Kaiser, was arrested in Florida yesterday on a charge of assault, as reported by the Facebook page Orange County Mugshots 2.0 and Recently Booked (platforms dedicated to publishing public arrest records and police booking photos of individuals detained in different jurisdictions in the United States).

According to official documents, the alleged victim, whose name has been censored in this article, "entered the elevator and was followed by an unknown white man and an unknown white woman. (The victim) stated that as the elevator went up, the man and the woman began to behave in an 'uncontrollably intimate' manner, which he described as aggressive kissing.

(The victim) stated that once the elevator reached the 12th floor, he exited the elevator and told the couple: 'please, have some manners'. (The victim) indicated that immediately after making the comment, the unknown man began to attack him. (The victim) described the attack by saying the man hit him multiple times and pushed him to the ground. (The victim) also claimed that the man made threats of further violence".

The incident occurred on April 23rd. Kaiser was booked on May 20th at 2:37 PM, with bail set at $1,000. This morning, a motion has been filed to allow him to travel, as it is an essential requirement for his job. So far, WWE has not commented on the matter. Likewise, it is unknown if this event will affect his presence in the company's television programming.

Kaiser has become a central figure in AAA thanks to his role as El Grande Americano. This will lead him to star in one of the most anticipated matches of the year at La Noche de los Grandes, where he will face "Original" El Grande Americano in a "mask vs. mask" match.
