Tonight, WWE continued with the action celebrating a new edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, which featured great matches and segments throughout the evening. Additionally, after Becky Lynch and Sol Ruca faced off, it was confirmed that the Women's Intercontinental Championship will be contested in Italy.

The match started with maximum tension when Becky Lynch attacked Sol Ruca before the opening bell. Once the bell rang, Ruca managed to recover and unleashed a real fight, throwing the Irishwoman out of the ring and then hitting a spectacular moonsault towards the ringside area.

Back in the ring, Sol was preparing to execute her lethal Sol Snatcher, but Becky used referee Jessika Carr as a human shield. After taking the full impact of the finishing move, the referee immediately disqualified "The Man". After the match, Lynch took advantage of a distraction to betrayingly attack former NXT North American Champion, punishing her with three Manhandle Slam destroyers.

Following the chaotic ending, a furious Becky Lynch confronted General Manager Nick Aldis backstage to question the outcome. However, due to her unsportsmanlike conduct, Aldis firmly informed her that at WWE Clash in Italy she will have to officially defend the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca herself.
