Rey Mysterio is the new General Manager of Lucha Libre AAA

Tonight, Lucha Libre AAA held a new edition of its weekly show live, the last one before their Night of the Greats event. In one of the evening's most outstanding moments, Marisela Peña officially announced the new General Manager of the company, revealing it to be the legend and WWE Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio.

In the first segment of the night, Marisela Peña took the floor to give an emotional speech before officially introducing the new General Manager, a position that Dorian Roldán was expecting to receive. To everyone's surprise, the management introduced the legend Rey Mysterio, who made his entrance to a huge ovation from the audience, triggering the fury of his son Dominik Mysterio backstage. In his opening words, the masked wrestler recalled his beginnings in the company thirty years ago and promised to lead AAA into a new era.

The decisions of the new authority did not take long to arrive. To close the evening, Rey Mysterio had to intervene in the ring to stop the chaos between El Grande Americano Original and El Grande Americano, warning them that they would not ruin his first night in charge and declaring that a mask will fall next week. Despite the presence of security personnel and several roster wrestlers who tried to separate them, the show ended in complete chaos and a brawl.
