WWE NXT starts on Netflix!
We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Lola Vice, The Culling in full force, and DarkState (without Saquon Shugars).
Wren Sinclair (with Kendal Grey) vs. Kelani Jordan
Kelani launches an assault on Sinclair before the match even begins. Wren ends up lying near one of the corners. The referee (Victoria D'Errico) approaches Sinclair to check on her condition. After that, she rings the bell. Jordan once again goes after her opponent, but she dodges to counterattack.
Kelani hits Wren with the help of the ropes. Sinclair recovers to execute a suplex on Jordan. She surprises her rival with a direct kick to the face before knocking her down with a direct clothesline to the neck. Wren recovers to focus her offense on Kelani's left arm. Kelani takes refuge in one of the corners. Sinclair goes after her. Jordan surprises her opponent to throw her against the corner.
Jordan tries to hit Wren's recently injured knee against one of the posts, but her opponent doesn't allow it. Sinclair performs a dropkick sliding under the bottom rope. Wren takes her opponent back into the ring. An accidental move ends with Sinclair supporting her left leg poorly. Sinclair grabs her knee. D'Errico approaches to check on her condition, a moment that Jordan takes advantage of to restart her assault.
Kelani takes Wren out of the ring. Sinclair stops her opponent with a body drop. Kelani's back lands on the floor. Wren takes her rival back into the ring to continue the fight. Both women exchange holds, locks, and counters. Sinclair hits Kelani with a spinning kick. Jordan responds with a direct kick to her rival's damaged knee, who writhes in pain on the canvas.
Jordan continues to focus her offense on her opponent's injured knee. Kelani throws Sinclair against one of the corners and then hits her knee against the apron. Jordan crushes Sinclair's knee before applying a legdrop. Kelani traps the knee in a painful submission hold. Wren crawls towards the ropes to force her release. "Come on, Wren!" the fans chant.
Kelani hits Sinclair on the apron before immobilizing her in the ropes to exert more pressure on her injured knee. Jordan continues to hit Sinclair. She surprises her rival with a body drop to start a counterattack. Wren performs two suplexes on Jordan, but her knee is hurt again. Sinclair dodges a split-legged legdrop to respond with a Crucifix Pin. 1..2..NO. Jordan traps Sinclair in a modified cloverleaf in the center of the ring. Wren tries to resist, but ultimately has no choice but to submit.
Winner by submission: Kelani Jordan
Tatum Paxley talks with Lizzy Rain backstage. Tatum regrets that the British woman was attacked by Zaria last week. "She may want your title, but if she thinks I'm going to stand still and be collateral damage, she'll find out that's not how The Maiden of Metal plays", says Lizzy. Shiloh Hill approaches them with his request for signatures to be named "Mr. NXT." Rain takes the document, at which point Tristan Angels appears. He can't believe his compatriot is taking this petition seriously. Angels takes the document to see the list of signatories, including Timothée Chalamet. Tristan points out that beauty contests have rules, and they don't include an appointment through a signed petition. "Thank goodness, your opponent tonight has a noble lineage. I hope Charlie Dempsey makes you see reason", says "Mr. England" before leaving. Lizzy acknowledges that this situation is very amusing, but she has to deal with her problem with Zaria. Rain notes that it's time to go hunting. Hill offers to accompany her, as he may have some ideas on the matter. Paxley assures Lizzy that Shiloh is very good at these things. Rain and Hill bid farewell to Paxley, and the segment comes to an end.
DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, and Cutler James) make their entrance to the ring. "'When DarkState attacks, no one is safe' took on a new meaning last week, right?" says Osiris. He points out that Saquon Shugars was the only member of the team who didn't fit in. Dion explains that Shugars only had experience in the independent scene. Nothing more. And yes, maybe he had street smarts, but he was also the last man to join the group. Griffin reiterates that those present in the ring are great athletes with a clear goal. Saquon, on the other hand, always chose the most complicated path for DarkState. James points out that this helped them make their decision last week easier. Cutler affirms that individual achievements in DarkState contribute to the faction's success as a whole. However, Shugars ended up forgetting that premise at some point along the way. Saquon received multiple opportunities, but all he did was waste them. Last week he failed DarkState again, and that was the last straw.
Lennox admits that what happened last week surprised him. He didn't expect his teammates to attack Saquon. But that made him realize what he had to do: end with the weakest link. The one who for weeks tried to present him as the villain of this story, turning his teammates against him. And all because he felt envious. "You stink! You stink!" chants the crowd. Shugars also accused him of acting as if he were the leader of the faction, as if he were better than him. "I'm not acting. I just am!", he exclaims. John Cena chose him as one of the participants in the last Iron Survivor Challenge. Robert Stone granted him an opportunity in the Gauntlet Match for a shot at the NXT North American Championship. "I didn't ask for that. I earned it, and he knew it," he says. Despite everything, when the faction was created, Lennox made it clear that it was a machine for everyone, not just for him. However, no one can deny that DarkState exists thanks to him. "I built this brick by brick, and I'll be damned if I let you be the one to tear it down!", he exclaims. Dion issues a direct threat to the entire NXT locker room. "If you think no one was safe before, you haven't seen anything yet", he says to end his promo.
We move to the infirmary, where a doctor attends to Wren Sinclair (accompanied by Kendal Grey). Sinclair doesn't want to think about the possibility of giving up her WWE Speed Championship. "Think positive. Everything will be fine. I promise," says Lola Vice as she approaches them. "You'll get better, and we'll both be champions," says Kendal as she points to the NXT Women's Championship that Lola wears on her waist. "That's a bit too positive, Kendal," Vice replies. At that moment, Kali Armstrong appears on the scene. The former WWE Evolve champion mocks Sinclair and Grey, who suffered a defeat against the same woman. Kali fixes her gaze on Lola's title. "What are you looking at?" Vice asks. "My motivation," Armstrong replies. "Kali, you just arrived, and you already have an inflated ego?", Lola asks. "Yes, and when you share the ring with the difference-maker, you'll know why. I'll be watching your title match tonight, champion," says Armstrong before leaving. "I'll add her to the list of those I want to knock out," Vice says to Kendal and Wren as the segment comes to an end.

Dux catches his opponent to hit him against one of the posts. The Belgian takes Sean back into the ring. Dux performs a diving legdrop. 1..2..NO.
Sean reverses a powerbomb into a hurricanrana to regain control. Dorian dodges a 450 Splash to respond with a clothesline. Dux finishes him with a powerbomb. 1..2..NO. Legacy reverses a pop-up powerbomb into a DDT! Now it's the Belgian who dodges a moonsault, but he can't avoid a hurricanrana from the second rope.
Dux stops a 450 Splash with his knees to launch a diving elbow drop, but Legacy receives it with a dropkick. Both men continue exchanging attacks as the clock reaches 20 seconds. The action moves to the top of one of the corners. Sean performs a Spanish fly on Dux. Both impact the canvas as the clock reaches zero.
Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux are eliminated from the tournament
Legacy and Dux show mutual respect after the match. The fans applaud both men to acknowledge their great performance.
We move backstage. Nattie approaches Layla Diggs to thank her for standing up to Jaida Parker last week. The Canadian is glad to know that there is someone in this brand who knows how to treat a legend. "They don't call you 'discreet legend' for nothing. And I'm not afraid to stand up", says Layla. "That's why I'll be in your corner tonight, watching you defeat Ms. Parker. Do you understand?", asks Nattie. Diggs nods. Both women head to the ring to end this segment.
Jaida Parker vs. Layla Diggs (with Nattie)
Both women grapple. Jaida catches Layla. She responds with an elbow to break free. Diggs takes down Parker to taunt her. Jaida brings her rival down to the mat to unleash a flurry of punches. Layla tries to recover, but Parker knocks her down with a clothesline. Jaida immobilizes Layla in one of the corners, ready to execute The Silencer, but her opponent dodges it.
Diggs initiates a counterattack. Jaida dodges a spinning kick to regain control. Parker performs a facebuster on Diggs before applying -now- The Silencer. Layla dodges a clothesline athletically to respond with a back elbow. Diggs executes a moonsault. Parker dodges it, causing her opponent to impact the canvas. Jaida performs the Hypnotic, followed by a definitive powerbomb. 1..2..3.
Winner: Jaida Parker
Blake Howard interviews Lexis King (accompanied by the rest of BirthRight) backstage. Howard reminds him that, after the double elimination of Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux, his opponent for the WWE Speed Championship will be the winner of the second round, which will pit Romeo Moreno against Nathan Frazer. King claims not to be worried about his title defense next week. Why should he be if he's the fastest man in the world? "No. You're not," says a voice. It's Nathan Frazer, who appears on the scene accompanied by Axiom. He tells his partner that King isn't serious. It's just hyperbole. Nathan knows it. "It's like comparing a cheetah, I don't know, with a cow," says Frazer. Lexis reminds him that he can only face him if he wins his match tonight. "I will. Romeo has more chances against me than Spain as a World Cup winner. Isn't that right, buddy?", says Frazer looking at Axiom. "That's not as impressive as you think," says the Spaniard. "I haven't mentioned England either," Nathan replies as an "apology." The Europeans leave to end the segment.
Tony D'Angelo enters the ring. The NXT Champion points out that NXT has experienced significant changes in the last month. The brand has witnessed a lot of chaos with the arrival of new talents. One of them, Kam Hendrix, will have a shot against him next week. Hendrix boasts of being a great rising superstar in NXT, as he demonstrated last week by defeating not one, but two champions. In seven days, he will prove it again when he destroys one of the pillars of the brand. Tony acknowledges that Kam has the courage to come out and interrupt his conversation with Naraku. "I'm not presumptuous. I have confidence in myself," says Kam. D'Angelo doesn't doubt Hendrix's qualities, but he sees the NXT Championship as a status symbol. One that allows him to stroll through private parties and VIP areas. He, on the other hand, has sacrificed everything to get it. It took him five years to get to this position, numerous failures, and he even doubted himself. And now he's forced to face a guy who hasn't done anything to earn this opportunity. "Congratulations, Kam. You won a match. But if you want to take this belt from me, you'll have to break through my chest and rip out my heart. And we both know that won't happen," says Tony before handing his microphone to Hendrix. D'Angelo is about to leave the ring. Hendrix tries to attack him from behind, but Naraku stops the blow! The Japanese wrestler throws several punches at Kam until he expels him from the ring with a clothesline. "Na-ra-ku! Na-ra-ku!" chant the fans. The Japanese bows to the champion before leaving the ring. This concludes the segment.
We move backstage, where we see Tavion Heights apologizing to Myles Borne for what happened last week. Myles understands that his friend needs to make a statement, but he must take it easy, or they'll both end up hurt. Borne still sees Heights as a brother, but he doesn't think he's aware of the problems he caused last week. Suddenly, both are attacked by DarkState. Dion Lennox throws Myles against a wall. Then, he picks up his North American Championship to drop it on its owner. "Take that with you!", exclaims Lennox as he leaves with his teammates.
The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, and Myka Lockwood) are walking backstage when they run into Tate Wilder. Drake places his leg on Tate’s motorcycle. Wilder quickly pushes the former WWE Evolve Champion’s leg away. Baylor asks Wilder what hurts more: crashing off the bike or getting several stitches near his eye courtesy of Keanu Carver? Smokes asks how long he’ll be out of action. Tate replies that it was only four stitches, so he won’t be missing anything. Jackson points out that, judging by Wilder’s first two matches in NXT, this kid still has a lot to learn. “I’m literally older than you,” Tate responds. Myka approaches Wilder, but Drake stops her. Wilder proposes a one-on-one match in the ring to Jackson. Drake assures him he won’t want to go through that again. Not after his match against Carver. “That’s where you’re wrong. I live for this,” Tate replies before walking away.

Nathan breaks free and counters with a knee strike straight to the face. Now it’s the Spaniard kicking Frazer before looking for momentum off the second rope. However, Nathan surprises him with a springboard Spanish Fly. 1..2..NO.

The Spaniard goes up top, but Nathan catches him with a superplex. Moreno immediately responds with a roll-up. 1..2..3.
Winner: Romeo Moreno (2:58)
Nathan and Axiom congratulate Moreno. Meanwhile, the entire BirthRight group watches the scene from the balcony area.
Izzi Dame and Niko Vance are warming up backstage. “Tonight I become the new NXT Women’s Champion, and you guys win your match. But first things first. Where’s Spears? Aren’t you about to head out now?” Izzi asks. “That’s right. I hope he’s getting ready,” Vance replies before leaving.
Robert Stone is talking with Mason Rook backstage. Rook doesn’t understand why Kam Hendrix received a title opportunity before him, especially after everyone saw how he won his match last week. And that’s why he had to attack him. Stone understands and says he’s glad he did what he did last week. Mason assures him he’ll do it again. Stone understands, but asks him to wait a little since he may still be in the title picture. “Maybe I’ll have to do something about it next week,” the Brit suggests. “No, no, no,” says Naraku as he approaches them. “You won’t do anything. I won’t let anyone ruin that match.” Mason gets in the Japanese star’s face. Stone steps between them, pointing out that this is neither the place nor the time for this. “We’ll see,” Rook says before walking away.
OTM (Niko Vance and Bronco Nima) make their entrance. Suddenly, Shawn Spears attacks them with a steel chair! Several officials have to intervene to stop him, along with his own tag team partner, who doesn’t understand what just happened. “What the hell are you doing!?” Niko Vance shouts repeatedly while dragging Spears back backstage.
Sarah Schreiber interviews Kali Armstrong backstage. Kali says it’s only a matter of time before she takes over all of NXT, including both women’s championships. Thea Hail appears on the scene. Hail points out that it’s a big dream, but not an easy one to accomplish. “You’re right. It’s a dream... for you. For someone making an impact in NXT, it’s reality. A reality you and all the awkward cows in this locker room are going to have to deal with,” Armstrong says before walking away.
We see Shiloh Hill standing in front of a board with several names whose signatures he still hasn’t obtained (including Hornswoggle and Danhausen). Hill believes he needs more international signatures, so he approaches Zaria to ask for hers. The Australian refuses, suggesting he ask his “creepy little friend” instead. Shiloh asks her to be more specific, since he has several names matching that description on his list. “Are you trying to play dumb with me? I’m talking about Tatum,” says Zaria. Shiloh thinks the Australian should be more worried about Lizzy Rain than Paxley. Zaria assures him the Brit doesn’t concern her at all. She only cares about the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Shiloh points out that it’s time for his match, but before leaving insists that Zaria should worry about Rain. Hill leaves. Suddenly, Lizzy attacks Zaria from behind! The two women brawl as several officials rush in to separate them.
Shiloh Hill vs. Charlie Dempsey (w/ BirthRight)
Dempsey tries to trap Shiloh in a submission hold, only to be dropped with a powerslam. Charlie keeps focusing on mat wrestling. Hill drops his opponent with a body drop before launching himself with a diving clothesline. A second clothesline sends Dempsey out of the ring. Charlie returns to target his opponent’s left arm. Dempsey takes his opponent down to the mat to apply a headscissors.
Hill escapes, only to fall back into Charlie’s grasp. Charlie drives several elbows into the back of Shiloh’s neck before dropping him with a suplex. 1..2..NO. Charlie drops Hill with a suplex before attempting a Triangle Choke. Shiloh lifts him with one hand and executes a powerbomb. Both men are left laid out on the mat.
Dempsey and Hill trade strikes in the center of the ring. Shiloh hits two spinning powerslams on Charlie before finishing him off with a spinning senton. Dempsey responds with a German suplex. Hill stops his rival’s offense with a right hand. Dempsey lands a loud chop on Shiloh. Charlie tries for a suplex, but his rival ends up executing it instead. Hill pins Dempsey, preventing him from escaping the three-count. 1..2..3.
Winner: Shiloh Hill
Tristan Angels interrupts Shiloh’s celebration. The Brit says he’s tired of Hill calling himself “Mr. NXT.” That’s why he spoke with Robert Stone to allow him to hold a Mr. NXT contest in two weeks. More than enough time to prepare and humiliate Shiloh. Meanwhile, Stone will have plenty of time to prepare the proper stage. “I’m going to prove to you and everyone here that you don’t deserve to call yourself Mr. NXT,” says Angels. “Hey, I can’t wait to humiliate you. Let’s do it!” Hill exclaims before laughing hysterically. And with that, the segment comes to an end.
Izzi Dame confronts Shawn Spears for attacking OTM right before their match. Spears admits Dame was right. They shouldn’t have earned a number one contender’s match for the tag team championships on the same night Izzi was competing for the Women’s Championship. And that’s why he acted the way he did tonight. “I was just trying to do the right thing,” he says. “It’s okay, Spears. You made the right decision. Don’t worry about it,” Dame replies before heading to the ring. “Let’s deal with this,” Niko Vance tells Shawn before following his partner.

Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, and Cutler James promise that next week they will finish what they started and vow they won’t rest until all the gold is around their waists. The three men walk away. Meanwhile, in the background, we see Saquon Shugars watching everything unfold. And with that, this week’s episode of NXT comes to an end.
