New Japan Pro-Wrestling held this morning the ninth day of the thirty-third edition of one of its most prominent tournaments, the Best of The Super Jr. The show took place at the Tsubame Citizen Gymnasium in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, in front of a live audience of 825 fans. • Ryohei Oiwa, Hartley Jackson, and Robbie Eagles defeated Toru Yano, Daisuke Sasaki, and Masatora Yasuda in a six-man tag team match. Jackson applied a Senton on Yasuda for the victory.
• SHO and Dick Togo defeated Taiji Ishimori and Gedo in a tag team match.
• El Desperado, KUSHIDA, and YOH defeated Francesco Akira, Jakob Austin Young, and Zane Jay in a six-man tag team match. KUSHIDA applied a Hoverboard Lock on Jay for the victory.
• Best of the Super Jr. - Block B: Hyo defeated Yoshinobu Kanemaru after applying a Hunting.
