WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,723, from the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. This will be the first show of the red brand after Clash in Italy and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature several matches and segments of interest, highlighting the start of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. In addition, Jacob Fatu will have to acknowledge Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief as a result of their Tribal Combat at PLE on Sunday. As always, we invite you to comment on the note to give your opinion on what happened in the show.
WWE Raw on Netflix begins!
We see a video recap of WWE Clash in Italy.
Roman Reigns and The Usos arrive at the venue's parking lot. Carrying his Ula Fala, "The Tribal Chief" heads to the ring. Fans greet him with index fingers raised. "¡OTC! ¡OTC!" they chant. Reigns raises the World Heavyweight Championship on the entrance ramp as fireworks echo in the venue. The Samoans continue their way to the ring. The crowd chants Roman's theme song as he and his cousins enter the ring. The three pose in the center of the ring as the fireworks echo once more.
"¡OTC! ¡OTC!" the crowd chants again once the music stops. Reigns enjoys the reception from the Italian fans. "¡Roman, Roman Reigns!" they start singing. "TORINO, ¡RECOGNIZE ME!", Roman exclaims. "¡OTC, OTC!" the fans respond. "I've been waiting for this day for a long time, because there's no day like Recognition Day!", he exclaims. Jey Uso agrees with his cousin, wondering where Jacob Fatu is.
"The Samoan Werewolf" makes his entrance!
Fans welcome Jacob with a great ovation. Fatu heads to the ring to stand in front of his cousins. "Let's not prolong this moment, Jacob. You know what to do", says Roman. Jey jokes about the situation, pointing out that Fatu is moving too slow. "You know what to do," Jey insists. A threatening Jacob heads towards him to take the microphone. "Jacob, I'm here!", exclaims Reigns. Fatu stands in front of "The OTC". Jacob makes it clear that he knew exactly what he was getting into when he challenged him to a Tribal Combat. He also knew what would happen if he didn't leave Clash in Italy with the world championship in his hands. He has been accumulating defeats all his life and yet, here he is, standing in front of him. Jacob points out that his children are watching him right now. They are seeing a father who lost, but who keeps his word. "Last night I lost to my Tribal Chief", he says. "But not to the idiot Jey," he adds looking at him. "Roman, I RECOGNIZE YOU!", Fatu exclaims before kneeling in front of Reigns. Jacob raises his hand. Roman takes it to help him up. "You don't understand this now, Jacob, but I love you", says Reigns before turning his back. Jimmy welcomes Fatu before pointing out that this is a warning message to the rest of the roster. "They are the '2', we are the '1'!", he exclaims. Roman, The Usos, and Fatu raise their index fingers to the sky to end the recognition ceremony. The four men head back to backstage to end the segment.
We see the arrival at the venue of some of tonight's protagonists: Seth Rollins, The Vision, and Sol Ruca.
Fatal Four Way Match - King of the Ring tournament first round
Penta vs. Oba Femi vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Solo Sikoa (with Talla Tonga)
Oba stops an assault from his three opponents as soon as he enters the ring. After that, he poses in front of the fans. The referee rings the bell. Carmelo, Solo, and Penta immediately join forces against the Nigerian. Femi crushes Hayes and Penta in opposite corners. Sikoa crushes Oba during one of his moves, but it barely affects him. Solo then prepares to execute a Samoan Spike, but "The Ruler" blocks it to respond with a punch. The Samoan flees to ringside, closely followed by Femi. Meanwhile, Penta faces Melo on the canvas.
Oba stands in front of Talla before returning to the ring, where he applies a double chokeslam to Hayes and Penta. Femi throws his rivals against opposite corners to continue dominating the fight. Oba gets out of the ring to go after Solo, a moment when he faces Talla again. Sikoa takes advantage to hit the Nigerian from behind. Angry, "The Ruler" throws him over the public barrier. Oba unleashes a rain of punches on the venue's stairs. Meanwhile, Penta and Hayes resume their fight in the ring.
Carmelo unleashes a rain of punches on Penta in one of the corners before covering him. Oba brings Sikoa back to ringside. Solo surprises the Nigerian to throw him against the metal stairs. Penta and Hayes exchange attacks in the center of the ring. Sikoa returns to knock them both down with a double clothesline. Sikoa applies a Running Hip Attack on Penta. Solo is about to repeat the move on Hayes, but Oba prevents it with a clothesline.
Sikoa, Carmelo, and Penta join forces against Oba, who ends up at ringside. Solo and Talla catch the Nigerian to throw him over and over against one of the posts. Suddenly, Penta jumps on Solo with a tope. Now it's Melo who jumps on Penta. Hayes takes the Mexican back to the ring, only to be knocked down with a clothesline by Solo. Melo dodges a Samoan Spike to respond with a tilt-a-whirl facebuster. Next, Penta surprises Carmelo with a Penta Driver. 1..2..NO. Solo interrupts the count.
Meanwhile, a recovered Oba gets rid of Talla with a clothesline before returning to the fight. Femi knocks Carmelo down with a tremendous chop on the apron. After that, he executes a spinebuster on Penta. Oba gets out of the ring to catch Talla, whom he drops on the Italian commentary table. He immediately returns to the ring to throw Sikoa into the air. Femi finishes off the Samoan with a Fall From Grace. 1..2..3.
Winner: Oba Femi
Oba takes a microphone. "Brock Lesnar asked me if I could take a beating. He said, 'Oba Femi, what will you do after taking a beating? Oba Femi, what will you do after receiving seven F-5s?' I'm standing. I took your best shot and I'm still here. In the end, I will be King of the Ring and you, coward, Brock Lesnar, never forget that we are 1 to 1. See you later," says "The Ruler" before throwing the mic on the canvas.
Byron Saxton interviews Lash Legend in the stands. Legend points out that her match tonight will go down in history, as she will be facing former champions. However, none of them, even with all their achievements, are at her level. Lash assures that there is no one more suitable than her to be queen. Byron highlights the great confidence Legend has for her match. Lash insists that she is the perfect queen: she talks like a queen, moves like a queen, and is as powerful as a queen. Legend points out that she just has to be herself and defeat all her opponents tonight. And once she wins the tournament, she will head to SummerSlam to crown herself world champion.
We return to the ring, where Cathy Kelley introduces the new Intercontinental Champion, Sol Ruca. "You deserve it!" the fans chant. Kelley congratulates Sol on her victory at Clash in Italy. Ruca acknowledges that she is living a dream come true. Sol believed she could be a champion, just like all the fans. "So, from the bottom of my heart, grazie", she says. "¡Ruca, Ruca!" the fans chant. Sol also wants to give credit to Becky Lynch, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, who also allowed her to prove her wrong. "And I'm not the only one saying it. Everyone is," Ruca says jokingly. That said, she points out that her work has only just begun. The title deserves a champion who defends it, and that's exactly what she plans to do. However, she warns her potential opponents that she will snatch their souls before they hear the words they could have heard last night: "The Intercontinental Champion, SOL RUCA". The fireworks echo in the venue. Sol celebrates with the crowd as the segment comes to an end.
We see a backstage video recorded after WWE Clash in Italy. In it, Roman Reigns was with Cody Rhodes. They exchanged looks before continuing their respective paths. We see Reigns and The Usos watching the video from a screen in their locker room. Roman promises his cousins that he will take care of his business with Rhodes later. Reigns points out that only they understand what the term "tough hand" means. Something that Jacob Fatu must learn. That said, he shows his World Heavyweight Championship to Jey. "You've had this one, but never the other. I need you to win that King of the Ring tournament. Win it, go to SummerSlam, and get the other one", says Roman. Jey high-fives Reigns before leaving. Jimmy is about to follow his brother, but Roman asks him not to. "Stay with me. I need you. He needs to do this for himself," says "The OTC". And so we reach the end of this segment.
Tag Team Match
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page and Rusev
Lee and Page start the match. Ethan tries to catch the masked man, but he is too fast for him. Tired of this cat-and-mouse game, Page tags in Rusev. He corners Dragon in one of the corners to pummel him with kicks. The Bulgarian punishes Lee with the help of the ropes. After that, he tags in Ethan, who continues to hit the Mexican. He surprises Page, on whom he unleashes a kick combo in one of the corners. Dragon finishes him off with a dropkick. 1..2..NO.
The action continues. Lee surprises Ethan with a release german suplex before hitting him with a superkick. However, he doesn't realize that Rusev has tagged in. The Bulgarian tries to surprise Dragon, but it's Lee who almost pins him with a roll-up. Lee points to Rey, announcing his tag. The fans go wild. However, Page knocks Mysterio off his corner. Rusev takes advantage of his opponent's distraction to crush him in the corner.
Rusev and Page take turns punishing Lee. He tries to reach his partner, but Rusev charges at him against his corner. The Bulgarian executes several corner spears. Rusev keeps hitting Dragon to taunt Rey. Rusev catches Lee in a bear hug. Dragon manages to push Rusev out of the ring. Lee crawls to his corner, but Ethan catches him to prevent it. Rusev pretends to hit Mysterio, prompting the referee's intervention. She tries to calm Rey, a moment that their opponents take advantage of to kick Lee.
Dragon escapes from Rusev to tag Rey, who enters with full force. Mysterio unleashes a quick offense on Ethan. Rey attacks Rusev in his corner, a moment that "All Ego" uses to surprise the masked man. He gets rid of Rusev with a hurricanrana before looking for a 619 on Ethan. Mysterio gains momentum in the ropes, but Rusev grabs his legs to make him stumble.
Page catches Rey in a Boston Crab. Lee returns to execute a superkick on Ethan, thus freeing his partner. Rusev doesn't take long to join the fight, only to be expelled from the ring. Dragon jumps on him with a suicide dive. Meanwhile, Rey kicks Page, who ends up on the second rope. Mysterio hits him with a 619 before finishing him off with a diving splash. 1..2..3.
Winners: Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee
Adam Pearce talks to a hurt Penta backstage. The General Manager informs the Intercontinental Champion that his match against Rey Mysterio is still on, as everyone, including the WWE Universe, wants to see it. Pearce shakes hands with the masked man, promising him that he is already working to make it happen. Grateful, Penta leaves the place, a moment when LA Knight appears. He confronts Pearce for his closeness to Roman Reigns. Something that has been more than evident in recent weeks. "Adam Pearce, do you feel Ucey?", asks "The Megastar". "I think you feel Ucey, as you want to go back to the days of The Bloodline. Maybe we need an 'Honorary Uce' shirt for you. Let's go to the merchandise stand to get you an Ula Fala". Adam assures him that it's just part of his job, especially in Roman's case, as he is the World Heavyweight Champion. LA Knight believes that Pearce wants Reigns to be the champion, not Jacob Fatu, much less himself. Adam points out that Fatu should have been fired for his actions and that he has no intention of bringing back The Bloodline. He is simply trying to get the Samoan family to behave well. "The Megastar" interrupts him to raise his hand, leaving his index finger pointing to the sky. Annoyed, Pearce regains control of his hand. "You make me sick," says LA Knight before leaving.
Byron Saxton interviews JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio in the stands. Byron asks them about Finn Bálor's move to SmackDown. McDonagh makes it clear that no one will miss him. In fact, it was a smart move on his part, as he knew his career would have come to an end on Raw at the hands of his former teammates. Dominik is about to speak, but the fans silence him with a thunderous boo. Mysterio raises his voice to claim that they are looking at this year's King of the Ring tournament winner. Saxton reminds him that, if he advances, he will have to face Oba Femi in the semifinals. Dominik raises his voice above the boos to ensure that he is not afraid of Femi. In fact, it is "The Ruler" who should fear the "King of Wrestlers" and current AAA Megachampion. Tired of the hostility of the audience, Dominik decides to leave to end the segment.

Fatal Four Way Match - Queen of the Ring tournament first round
Roxanne Perez vs. IYO SKY vs. Giulia vs. Lash Legend
The four women observe each other before the fight begins. Legend taunts her rivals, whom she ends up facing all at once. Lash carries Giulia in her arms, at which moment IYO knocks them both down with a Missile Dropkick. Roxanne takes advantage to attack SKY from behind. Perez continues her offensive against "The Genius of Sky", but Lash returns to hit her with a pump kick.
Giulia traps Legend in a Choke Guillotine. Lash charges with "The Beautiful Madness" towards one of the corners to free herself. IYO and Roxanne throw themselves at Lash, only to be caught by her. Giulia knocks them all down with a Missile Dropkick. The fans cheer for the Italo-Japanese wrestler.
Giulia takes Perez back into the ring. "The Prodigy" slaps Giulia, only to receive the same treatment in return. Both women exchange punches and chops. Giulia knocks down Roxy to catch her in a headscissors. IYO appears to apply the same hold to Giulia. Legend reaches them to catch Perez in a Boston Crab. IYO leaves the chain of holds to attack Legend.
Lash knocks down IYO to then crush her with a splash. 1..2..NO. Legend catches SKY to hit her against the ropes. Roxanne and Giulia pull Lash out of the ring to throw her against the metal stairs. Perez propels Giulia to execute a dropkick on Legend. Roxy and Giulia prevent each other from returning to the ring. "We work better together. Let's do it", says "The Prodigy" to establish an alliance. However, she surprises Giulia when she tries to return to the ring to hit her head against the announcers' table.
Roxanne returns to the ring to continue the fight against IYO, but she surprises her with a Missile Dropkick. SKY continues her offensive. Giulia returns, only to be surprised with a Rope Guillotine by her compatriot. SKY hits Giulia and Perez with a double Missile Dropkick before executing a running meteora on both. Lash returns to surprise SKY with a sleeperhold. IYO frees herself to execute a double footstomp on the former tag team champion's stomach.
The action descends into chaos. Roxanne surprises IYO and Giulia with a double DDT before finishing off "The Genius of Sky" with a Satomura Special. 1..2..NO. SKY knocks down Perez before seeking height. Giulia heads towards IYO's position. Both exchange attacks on the top corner. Roxanne soon joins them. Lash appears to catch Giulia and Roxanne, on whom she applies a double powerbomb. After that, she executes her Lash Extension on Perez. Instead of covering her, Legend decides to execute a second Lash Extension, this time on Giulia. 1..2..NO. IYO interrupts the count by executing a diving footstomp on Lash's back. Then, she finishes off Giulia with an Over the Moonsault. 1..2..3.
Winner: IYO SKY
Adam Pearce talks with Maxxine Dupri backstage. The General Manager regrets leaving her out of the Queen of the Ring tournament, but he couldn't find a spot for her. Dupri wonders if he has already forgotten about her. Adam assures her that he hasn't, promising to consider her for future opportunities. With that said, he leaves the place. "Are you okay, babe?" asks Otis as he places his hand on his partner's shoulder. She quickly moves away. "I'm fine," she says. Otis assures her that he and Akira Tozawa will always support her. However, they are somewhat concerned, as Dupri spends too much time with Austin Theory. "Otis, I know what I'm doing. Maybe you don't understand, but could you trust me on this?", asks Maxxine before leaving.
The Americans (El Grande Americano, Bravo Americano, and Rayo Americano) appear on the entrance ramp during the next commercial break. "Olé, olé, olé!" chant the fans to welcome them. Bravo and Rayo take the floor to ensure they are the biggest and the most handsome. "Kiss me a lot!" exclaims Bravo. "Kiss my ass!" responds Rayo. It's El Grande Americano's turn. He points out that last weekend the world found out what Mexico already knew: what AAA and lucha libre are all about. Because everyone witnessed the war he fought with Chad Gable. El Grande Americano assures that, in his case, he fought for his colors, for his people, and for his country. "Long live Mexico! And long live my people!", he exclaims to end this brief segment.
Cathy Kelley interviews Lyra Valkyria and Bayley backstage. Bayley makes it clear that their aspirations to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships are still a priority for them. However, they must now set them aside to participate in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Something catches Lyra's attention. She apologizes to leave the interview. The Irishwoman approaches Sol Ruca, whom she congratulates on her victory at Clash in Italy and for ending Becky Lynch's reign of terror. Ruca thanks her for her words, hoping to be a worthy bearer of the championship. "Well, since you mention it, I couldn't challenge for that championship for a long time", says Lyra. Sol understands what she means. "It will be an honor to defend this title against the first person who holds it," says Sol. Bayley approaches Lyra to remind her that they are in the middle of an interview. Ruca bids farewell to Valkyria. "Did you hear that? A match, mate! Yes!" exclaims an excited Lyra to Bayley before leaving. And so we reach the end of this segment.
Roxanne Perez laments her bad luck in The Judgment Day's clubhouse. First it was Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and now IYO SKY. "I was supposed to be Queen of the Ring. It was my chance," she says. A smiling Liv Morgan appears to point out that she has just tried on the Queen of the Ring crown. "It looks so good on me," she says. Raquel Rodriguez gestures to Liv that Roxanne is feeling down. Morgan approaches Perez. "I know it's been a couple of tough weeks, but you must remember who the hell we are," she says. Morgan reminds her that they are family, and that's what matters most. Roxanne understands, but she also wants to know Liv's plan regarding this. "Roxy. My sweet little Roxy. The Judgment Day doesn't pout when we miss opportunities. The Judgment Day takes opportunities, right guys?", asks Morgan. She promises that she and Dominik Mysterio will become the next Queen and King of the Ring. Surprised, Raquel looks at her partner, who soon realizes her unfortunate comment. Liv makes it clear that it doesn't matter who wins the tournaments, as long as they are two members of the faction. With that said, she suggests to her teammates to go out and celebrate to make the most of their stay in Italy. "Roxy, don't be upset. I'm very proud of you," says Morgan as her teammates leave the clubhouse. And so we reach the end of this segment.
Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker (with Paul Heyman)
Seth and Bron face each other in the center of the ring as the fans chant "The Visionary's" theme song. Breakker charges Rollins towards one of the corners. Seth responds with a flurry of punches, forcing the referee to intervene. Breakker surprises Seth with a release German suplex. Rollins gains momentum in the ropes to knock Bron down with a slingblade. Rollins throws him out of the ring with a clothesline before diving with two consecutive suicide dives. Seth performs the move for the third time, but this time his opponent stops him in mid-air to throw him over the audience barrier. Rollins lands on several fans.
Breakker goes after his opponent to continue attacking him. Bron takes him back into the ring, where he knocks him down with a well-loaded clothesline. Breakker throws Rollins against one of the corners. Meanwhile, the fans chant "ECW, ECW!". Seth recovers to unleash a flurry of punches on Breakker. He quickly knocks down his opponent, whom he finishes off with a standing moonsault. Bron interrupts his own count to do some push-ups.
Breakker knocks down Seth with a body drop. Rollins tries to counterattack, but his rival surprises him with a release German suplex. "Suplex City!" chant the fans. The action moves to ringside. Bron throws Seth against one of the posts. Then, he takes some distance to dive with a flying shoulder tackle. Breakker repeatedly hits his opponent's head against the Italian announcers' table. Bron clears the two announcers' tables. Seth tries to surprise Bron, but without success.
The action returns to the ring. Rollins escapes from his rival's clutches to execute an inverted DDT. Seth knocks down Bron with a well-loaded clothesline. 1..2..NO. Rollins performs a running knee strike on Breakker before finishing him off with a springboard spinning senton. 1..2..NO. Seth looks for height on one of the corners, ready for his next move, but Bron prevents it with a Frankensteiner. 1..2..NO. Breakker can't believe it.
Rollins rolls out to ringside. Bron stands on the apron to execute a diving clothesline, but "The Visionary" stops him with his own clothesline! Both end up lying on the ground. Bron and Seth return to the ring to start an exchange of attacks. Breakker surprises his opponent with a Black Hole Slam. 1..2..NO. Bron unleashes a flurry of punches on Seth in one of the corners. Rollins stops him to execute a powerbomb. 1..2..NO.
The action goes back to ringside. Rollins drags the metal stairs a few inches. Then, he carries Bron on his shoulders to climb them. Breakker escapes his grasp to throw him against the post. Bron seeks height on the corner. Seth runs towards him to execute a superplex, followed by a Falcon Arrow. 1..2..NO. "This is awesome!" chant the fans. Rollins performs a superkick on Bron before executing a stomp, but his rival stops him with a spear.
Rollins ends up at ringside. Breakker goes after him to place him on the English announcers' table. Bron climbs onto the Italian announcers' table to execute a spear, but Seth reverses it into a pedigree! The table is shattered. Seth takes Breakker back into the ring to execute a second pedigree. 1..2..NO. Rollins prepares to perform a stomp, but Austin Theory interrupts the match to distract him from the apron. Seth gets rid of Theory before dodging a spear from Breakker, who crashes into one of the corners.
Heyman gets on the apron to distract the referee, which Theory takes advantage of to hit Rollins with his belt. Suddenly, Montez Ford appears to dive over Austin with a tope over the corner. Bron gets his revenge by applying a spear to Montez. Then, he returns to the ring to execute a new spear on Seth. 1..2..NO. Rollins surprises Bron with a superkick before applying a stomp. 1..2..NO. Heyman places one of Bron's legs on the bottom rope to prevent his defeat. Paul smiles maliciously to taunt Seth.
Rollins quickly gets out of the ring to approach "The Wiseman", whom he corners next to the audience barrier. Bron charges at Seth to execute a spear, but "The Visionary" moves aside, placing Heyman in his rival's path. Bron crashes into Paul, shattering the barrier in the process. Seth returns to the ring. A furious Bron soon follows him. Breakker launches a spear, but Rollins stops him using one of the tag team championships as a shield. Seth performs a stomp to end all resistance from his opponent. 1..2..3.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Seth celebrates in the ring while Heyman is attended to by medical staff. And so we reach the end of this week's show.
