Randy Orton's return to WWE is still not confirmed, despite his name continuing to appear in the company's announced schedule. This has fueled speculation, but the actual situation seems more open than what the public calendar suggests.
Orton had already been advertised for the May 29th SmackDown in Barcelona, which led to the belief that he could reappear before Clash in Italy. However, it did not happen, and now he is also listed for future dates in Providence and Kansas City, reigniting theories about his return.
Nevertheless, the most recent information indicates that his return is not expected on the upcoming SmackDown. In other words, even though his name remains on the public lineup, it does not mean that WWE has him ready to reappear immediately.
Orton has been off television since WrestleMania 42, where he lost to Cody Rhodes in the main event for the WWE Undisputed Championship. After the match, he attacked Rhodes, leaving the rivalry open and room to continue when "The Viper" finally returns.
For now, it is advisable not to assume that his presence on the public schedule indicates an imminent return. Everything suggests that WWE is still saving that moment.
