We move to the women's locker room, where Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair are talking. Wren informs her partner that she will not accompany her tonight because she does not want to be a distraction for her. Also, just as Grey is focused on winning a title shot, she must also worry about her WWE Speed Championship. That's why she will go talk to Robert Stone to find out the name of her next challenger. Kendal reminds her that she still doesn't have medical clearance. Wren knows, but she is working to get it. Sinclair leaves, and Lola Vice appears. She wants to wish Kendal good luck in her match tonight and apologize for what happened last week. She simply reacted on instinct when Kelani Jordan snatched her championship. "Look, the first time could have been an accident. But this was the second time. I'll deal with you once I defeat Kelani, okay?", says Grey before leaving. "Sure you will," Vice murmurs as the segment comes to an end.

Sarah Schreiber welcomes us to the first edition of "Mr. NXT Pageant". A contest that will consist of three tests. Two of them will take place backstage, starting with a clothing test. As judges, we have WWE Evolve Champion Aaron Rourke, WWE superstar Kit Wilson, and comedian Matt Matthews. Tristan Angels and Shiloh Hill carry out the first test, with Angels catching the jury's attention with his swimsuit (and his Mister NXT tattoo on one of his calves). After the test, the jury delivers its verdict, with unanimous support for the Briton. Still, Schreiber reminds us that the final vote will depend on the fans.

To start, he solves a Rubik's Cube in just a few seconds. Then, he demonstrates his juggling skills with a Diabolo. Annoyed, Tristan interrupts him with the goal of solving the Rubik's Cube faster than his opponent. However, he finds it impossible. Aaron Rourke reminds him that he has already exceeded Hill's time. Furious, Tristan smashes the cube on the ground. Determined to impress the jury, the British man juggles with three balls. Hill appears on the scene doing the exact same thing, but riding a unicycle! All three jury members unanimously choose Shiloh as the winner of this category.

Blake Howard interviews Tony D'Angelo backstage. Suddenly, the Japanese man appears on the scene. Naraku hands a black envelope to D'Angelo. "What is this?" asks the champion. Naraku simply bows and leaves. Tony opens the envelope to pull out a card. After reading it, he looks in Naraku's direction. And so we reach the end of this segment.

Saqon Shugars once again catches Dion's attention from the arena screen. Armed with his baseball bat, Shugars boasts about Cutler James' absence. "I guess when Saquon attacks, no one is safe", says Shugars. The video pauses for a moment to replay the last few seconds. Dion seems puzzled. Suddenly, it's revealed that it was a recording. Shugars appears out of nowhere to launch an assault on Griffin with his baseball bat. Dion comes to his aid, at which point Saquon makes his escape. Shugars laughs in the audience, satisfied with a perfectly executed plan.

We see a video posted on social media. In it, Jaida Parker interrupts a class with several talents in The Dungeon to attack Nattie. Both women start a fight that has to be interrupted by those present.

We reach the third -and decisive- test of the "Mr. NXT Pageant". Sarah Schreiber introduces Tristan Angels and Shiloh Hill in the center of the ring, where they will have to explain why they deserve this title. The jury watches from the stands. Tristan makes it clear that he should be the first and inaugural "Mr. NXT", as he has experience representing his country internationally. Besides, this hasn't changed him, as he remains a humble person. "Tristan, how is this possible? Believe it or not, before all my well-deserved glory, I was born a humble shepherd. This way, I can relate to the pigs that make up the NXT Universe", says Angels. Today is his birthday, and he has also tattooed "Mister NXT" on one of his calves. So he advises any fan or jury member thinking of voting for Shiloh, a man whose smile looks like an incomplete puzzle, to take a walk off a cliff. It's Hill's turn, who admits he's still trying to find himself. But ultimately, that's what NXT is about. Taking hits, getting up, and moving forward. And for that reason, he believes he should be "Mr. NXT".

Sarah addresses the jury directly to ask for their verdict. Matthews has no doubt about it and gives his vote to Hill. Wilson, on the other hand, considers both Shiloh and Tristan toxic. However, there's something about Angels, especially his blonde mane and British accent, that touches his heart. That's why his vote goes to him. "YES, BOY!", exclaims Kit. Rourke, on the other hand, prefers the fans to choose for him. The audience cheers for Hill and boos Tristan. Schreiber then announces that it's time to reveal the result of the viewers' votes: Shiloh Hill is the winner and, therefore, the first "Mr. NXT"!

Shiloh is about to put on his "Mr. NXT" sash when Tristan attacks him from behind. Angels gets out of the ring to grab a metal chair. Tristan returns to his victim to continue hitting him, this time with the chair. Angels places the chair on the mat and Hill's head on it. A knee drop crushes Shiloh's head against the chair. Tristan picks up the "Mr. NXT" sash to pose with it as the segment comes to an end.

Robert Stone congratulates Naraku for his victory tonight. The Japanese man reminds him that he has protected Tony D'Angelo and his championship, but now it's time for both of them to go to war. Stone asks him about the mysterious envelope he handed to the champion. Naraku informs him that it's an invitation, as he wants both of them to have a conversation before their battle. A challenging Keanu Carver appears on the scene, asking the Japanese man about the battle he was talking about. Both men face off. Stone asks them to keep it civil, leading Naraku to leave the place. Carver confronts the NXT General Manager for not giving him opportunities. Stone asks him to give him a week to choose his next opponent. Keanu hopes that's the case. Otherwise, he'll choose it himself.

Part of the lineup for next week is announced, including the start of a new tournament to determine the next challenger for the Women's WWE Speed Championship. Izzi Dame is surprised to see her name in that tournament, where she will face Thea Hail. Niko Vance doesn't know why she's been included. Shawn Spears appears on the scene to reveal that it was his doing. "What made you think it was a good idea?" Dame asks. Shawn is fully aware that Izzi has her sights set on the NXT Women's Championship, but currently, it's Kendal Grey who will have a shot at the gold. That's why she should focus on winning another belt as the first step to returning to the top of the women's division. Additionally, her first opponent is Hail, whom she dominated to win the North American Championship. Vance believes Spears' idea is good, adding that they will both be there to support her. "Yes, it's actually a good idea. It's a way to be two steps ahead," says Dame. And so we reach the end of this segment.
