Lucha Libre AAA has officially announced its next special event, Summer of Scandal. The confirmation came during the June 13 broadcast of AAA on Fox, marking the beginning of the promotion for the company's next big show.
The event is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at Arena San Marcos in Mexico. At the moment, AAA has not revealed any matches or participants for the card, so the announcement only serves as the first piece in the build-up to the special event.
The company's last major event was Noches de los Grandes, a two-week event that featured the main event mask vs. mask match between El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) and Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable).
Additionally, at that same event, AAA also teased another one of its big projects of the year: TripleMania 34. The company confirmed that it will take place over two nights, with the first in Las Vegas and the second in Mexico, although matches and participants have not been announced yet.
With Summer of Scandal already on the way, AAA is starting to move its schedule of major events for the second half of the year. Now we just have to wait and see which names start to appear on the card.
