Last night, UFC Freedom 250 took place, a special show held at the White House in celebration of the birthday of the President of the United States, Donald Trump. The event was attended by many celebrities, including some superstars from WWE, such as Roman Reigns, which generated some criticism.
Many fans disagreed with the presence of the Samoan at the private party of a president strongly criticized by a large sector of American society. One of the harshest voices against "The OTC" was actor Paul Walter Hauser, who called the Samoan a "loser," mocking his part-time wrestler status.
"Is this where you are when you’re never wrestling? Why do guys like Darby Allin and Kenny Omega wrestle every single week, and yet, they don’t ask us to 'acknowledge them'? Could it be that the work begets the acknowledgement? Enjoy the field trip, you actual dork," Hauser wrote on his social media.
UFC Freedom 250 took place in the gardens of the White House on a stage that cost 60 million dollars (which Trump himself has hinted he will not remove). The card featured several standout fights, including Justin Gaethje's victory over Ilja Topuria by TKO to win the UFC Lightweight World Championship in the main event of the evening.
