One of the most important women in recent history of TNA Wrestling would have left the company. We are talking about Tessa Blanchard, who would have requested her release, as reported by Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful. Apparently, the former World champion would have been forced to choose between TNA and CMLL.
"Sources close to her told Sean Ross Sapp, from Fightful Select, that former TNA champion Tessa Blanchard has left the company. According to these sources, Blanchard requested her contractual release and managed to obtain it. The reason for her departure has not been reported, although one source speculated that CMLL would have asked her to choose between both companies," the media wrote.
Blanchard returned to TNA in December 2024 after a successful period in CMLL. However, this has not stopped her from continuing to work for the Mexican company. In fact, so far this year, Tessa has competed 39 times for CMLL compared to just 9 for the Anthem Media company, a very revealing fact about the wrestler's priorities.
Since her return to TNA, Blanchard has played a secondary role in the company's television programming. This, coupled with the rejection from fans, who continue to label her as a problematic and racist woman. Her last match in TNA dates back to May 15, when she faced Harley Hudson one-on-one. Meanwhile, in CMLL, Tessa has teamed up with Lluvia with the goal of winning the 2026 Dinastías Cup (Mothers category). Both women have already made it to the final of the tournament.
