Last weekend, UFC Freedom 250 took place, a special show by the popular mixed martial arts company held at the White House in celebration of Donald Trump's birthday. The event was widely promoted by the President of the United States, with a stage that cost over 60 million dollars to build.
Since then, there has been much speculation about the possibility of the second major TKO company, WWE, hosting a similar show in the future. However, it seems highly unlikely to happen due to the economic losses it would entail. This was explained in the most recent edition of Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select.
"Sources from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select indicate that a WWE event at the White House is not currently in the plans, although it would be a possibility the company would consider if the economic conditions were favorable. UFC President, Dana White—known for his straightforward statements—has stated that UFC lost a considerable amount of money by organizing the event at the White House," the media outlet wrote.
UFC Freedom 250 featured the presence of numerous celebrities, including WWE heavyweights like Nick Khan, Triple H, and Heavyweight World Champion Roman Reigns. It is worth noting that Trump maintains a good relationship with the top leadership of TKO and WWE, although he has never openly expressed a desire to host a wrestling show at the presidential residence.
