Lola Vice will defend her NXT Championship against La Hiedra on AAA on Fox

Lola Vice has already confirmed her next defense of the NXT Women's Championship. During the most recent episode of AAA on Fox, Rey Mysterio announced that Vice will face La Hiedra on June 27, 2026.

The match will air just one day before Vice puts the same title on the line against Kendal Grey at NXT Great American Bash, so the champion is facing a very demanding schedule. The defense in AAA adds more pressure and also more exposure to her reign.

In addition, Rey Mysterio revealed that AAA is very close to incorporating a former WWE world champion who has never competed in the Mexican company. He promised to provide more details next week, leaving another important announcement pending.

He also mentioned that the company is negotiating with the managers of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT to allow Fénix to defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship on those brands. This reinforces the idea that Lucha Libre AAA wants to continue expanding its presence within the WWE ecosystem.
