Since her arrival at All Elite Wrestling, Thekla has not left anyone indifferent. Her aggressive style and lack of respect towards everyone has led her to the top of the company's women's division, where she currently reigns as the Women's World Champion.

Although the Austrian had already made a name for herself in the world during a successful period in Japan, it wasn't until her landing in AEW that she finally seems to have found her place. This is how "The Toxic Spider" explained it in a recent interview granted to Clutchpoints.

"Everything has been fantastic. I love working with all the people there. I love being surrounded by so many legends and people who have done great and important things for the wrestling industry," she said. "The locker room is fun. There are some pretty nasty girls, obviously, as happens in any locker room. But most people are absolutely phenomenal, so I couldn't be happier. In fact, I think I have finally found my home in wrestling within AEW."

About creativity in All Elite Wrestling

"For me, as a strange and aggressive Austrian woman, it's great because I think there may be some fear involved, you know, when it comes to the people working with me. In terms of creativity, yes, I had never felt so creative. The truth is that I can't complain at all," she said.

Thekla is also known for her attacks on her former boss, Taro Okada, president of STARDOM. In this regard, she was asked if her new boss, Tony Khan, is safe with her. "Safe for now. Tony Khan doesn't have to fear any attack from his AEW Women's World Champion... For now," she said.

Thekla will defend the AEW Women's World Championship against Starlight Kid at Forbidden Door. The match takes place after the Austrian disrespected her former company, STARDOM, by spitting on their logo and mocking their entire women's division. Next Sunday, Kid will not only try to restore the honor of her promotion, but also take with her the top female belt of AEW.
