As is customary before the celebration of a All Elite Wrestling PPV, Tony Khan has addressed the media in a pre-AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door press conference. And, as usual, the company's president had to answer questions of all kinds.

One of them was posed by Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics, who asked about a possible interest in acquiring TNA Wrestling. "No," Khan replied with a laugh before suggesting to Thurston to estimate an approximate price for a hypothetical sale of the Anthem Media company. Brandon set this figure at 40 million dollars.

"It has value. It would have to be the right price. The video library features a large number of excellent wrestlers over the years. Of course, it is not my top priority as an acquisition at this time. It is not something I have had serious discussions about. As with many things in life, it could be an interesting purchase if the price was right, but doesn't that happen with so many things? There are many excellent cars that I would love to have in my garage, but it would depend on the price. For 40 million dollars, no, absolutely not," Khan stated.

Thurston's question was based on a recent report by sports business analyst Blake Avignon, who stated that Len Asper, from Anthem Media, has set a minimum price of 30 million dollars for a possible sale of TNA, although his preferred price range is between 40 and 50 million dollars.

Recently, the company has carried out a staff reduction resulting in the departures of Tessa Blanchard, Sami Callihan, and Tommy Dreamer. It is unknown if this measure is related to rumors about a future sale of the company.
