Mercedes Moné sets the Internet ablaze with a teaser for a dream match in AEW

Despite her controversial departure from WWE, Mercedes Moné still has great friends in the company. One of them is Bayley, who has closely followed "The CEO's" new adventure in All Elite Wrestling. This new stage of Mercedes has led her to win the Owen Hart Foundation tournament and, with it, an opportunity for the Women's World Championship of the company at All In: London.

After failing in the attempt last year, Moné is confident in not repeating history this year. So much so that she already fantasizes about defending the AEW's top title in a big event like WrestleDream against Bayley. She hinted at this in one of her stories on Instagram this afternoon.

The image posted by Moné consists of the typical PPV fight poster, announcing a title defense of the AEW's top female championship against Davina Rose (the name Bayley debuted with in professional wrestling). The poster announces the event for October, a month that has hosted the three previous editions of the PPV.

As expected, the image has quickly circulated on the Internet, with many fans wondering if there are real possibilities for this match to happen. Bayley's contract with WWE will not expire until the end of the year (as she hinted herself in an interview given last April). At that time, she also pointed out that she might not renew with WWE once the contract is over.
