Jack Perry has not renewed with AEW yet, even though his contract is close to expiring. According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, the wrestler's agreement is set to expire very soon and, so far, no new signature has been confirmed by the former company champion.

The situation has been followed since June, when it was reported that Perry and AEW were negotiating a possible extension. Tony Khan, on his part, was asked about the wrestler's status in a media call prior to Forbidden Door 2026 and publicly expressed his desire to keep him in the company for many more years.

Perry, 29 years old and son of the late actor Luke Perry, was one of the first names added to AEW's roster. Throughout his time in the company, he has been a trios champion, TNT champion, and national champion, in addition to being part of several of its most important programs.

His most recent match was a loss to Zack Sabre Jr. on the June 24 episode of Dynamite. With his contract about to expire, Perry's next move has become one of the most closely followed contractual stories within AEW.
