With Royal Rumble in Riyadh and WrestleMania 42 already part of the history books, and with SummerSlam in Minneapolis just around the corner, the only thing left to know is the venue that will host the last Big Four event of the year, Survivor Series. However, WWE has not yet made a decision in this regard. In fact, the company has reportedly ruled out several ideas, as revealed in a recent report by WrestleVotes for Fightful Select.
"Sources consulted by WrestleVotes for Fightful Select indicated that, at the end of 2025, WWE was considering the possibility of holding the Survivor Series 2026 event at an international venue. However, those plans have fallen through in recent months. One source believes that is the main reason why WWE has not yet announced the date or location of Survivor Series 2026," the outlet wrote.
"WrestleVotes added that Boston (Massachusetts) submitted a bid to host the 2026 Premium Live Event, but, just like with negotiations for John Cena's last match, the talks broke down due to economic issues. At the moment, there are no updates on the city that will host Survivor Series 2026, although WWE is expected to make an official announcement before SummerSlam," the report concluded.
Survivor Series 2025 took place at Petco Park in the city of San Diego, California. As has been customary in recent years, the PLE featured two WarGames matches, with The Vision, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar emerging victorious over Roman Reigns, The Usos, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes in the main event.
