The CW and Netflix will air a new episode of WWE NXT tonight, with Vic Joseph and Booker T at the commentary table, live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show will feature an attractive lineup, highlighting a triple threat match for an opportunity for the NXT Women's Championship.
Additionally, the show will feature two title defenses. On one hand, The Vanity Project will defend the Tag Team Championships against Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. On the other hand, Zaria will defend the NXT Women's North American Title against an opponent yet to be revealed, who will replace the injured Layla Diggs. We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, Kali Armstrong, and Zaria.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match
The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (c) (with Jackson Drake and Myka Lockwood) vs. Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux
Legacy and Smokes start the match with a technical phase. Sean surprises Ricky with a dropkick. Smokes tags in Brad before charging at Legacy. The plan to surprise Sean doesn't work, as the challenger takes down both opponents with arm drags. Legacy tags in DVD, who takes down Baylor with a tremendous dropkick. 1..2..NO. The challengers continue to team up against Brad.
The action continues. Sean and DVD launch a combined assault on Smokes, ending with the former finishing off the champion with a standing moonsault. 1..2..NO. Legacy ejects the champions from the ring. After that, he positions himself on the second rope. DVD pushes the rope up so his partner can be launched. This way, Sean can execute a spectacular springboard crossbody on the champions. "Holy sh*t!", chant the fans.
The challengers bring Baylor back into the ring to continue dominating the match. At that moment, Myka gets on the apron to distract the referee. Drake takes advantage of the situation to grab Legacy's legs and make him fall face-first to the mat. A furious DVD argues with the official, a moment the champions take advantage of to illegally attack Legacy.
Brad and Ricky take turns punishing Sean. Smokes crushes Legacy in his corner. Sean tries to escape from his rivals, but they take him down with a combo of dropkick + spinebuster. 1...2...NO. Ricky traps Legacy in a tight submission hold. Finally, Sean manages to escape from the champions to tag in DVD, who enters with full force. Dux takes care of both opponents at the same time. Dorian takes down Smokes with a clothesline before executing a springboard moonsault on Brad. 1..2..NO.
The action continues. Baylor surprises DVD with a facebreaker for Smokes to finish him off with a spear. 1..2..NO. Legacy interrupts the count. "This is amazing!", chant the fans. The champions try to apply their combined finisher on Dux. He pushes Brad so he impacts Ricky, who loses support on the top turnbuckle. DVD executes a superplex on Smokes before tagging in Legacy. Dorian performs a diving splash on Ricky for his partner to finish him off with a springboard 450 Splash. 1..2..NO. Baylor interrupts the count.
The action doesn't stop. Sean surprises Ricky with a standing Spanish fly. The champions end up outside the ring. The challengers launch themselves against them with a parallel suicide dive. DVD launches himself again at his opponents, this time with a tope. Drake gets on the apron to confront Dux, who doesn't hesitate to punch him. The referee assists Jackson, a moment Myka takes advantage of to lower the ring ropes. As a result, Dorian falls to ringside. "Don't mess with my guys!", Lockwood yells before taking DVD back to the ring.
Brad and Ricky take advantage of the confusion to get Legacy out of the ring. Baylor throws him against the metal stairs. Smokes runs to his corner to wait for Brad's tag. When it happens, Baylor catches DVD to execute a finisher combined with his partner. Ricky covers the Belgian. 1..2..3.
Winners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions: The Vanity Project
We see Tavion Heights and Myles Borne in front of a screen in the locker room. Myles confesses that he really thought Legacy and Dux would win tonight. But it doesn't matter because Tavion will ruin their celebration. Heights agrees with that. In fact, he believes that someone should snatch the Tag Team Championships from them once and for all. And that could be them. Myles is not sure about it. Kam Hendrix appears on the scene to mock both men for making peace last week with a hug. That said, he advises them not to rush into their title goals, especially Borne, who should be more concerned about his North American Championship. Kam recalls that his first title match in NXT faced Tony D'Angelo for the top championship. Now he believes he shouldn't have aimed so high from the beginning. He should have gone straight for the belt Borne holds. And that's exactly what he'll do as soon as he recovers from his injury. "Luckily for you, Hendrix's health indicator is at 86.2%. But don't worry, it'll be Showtime very soon", says Hendrix. "Not if Mason catches you first, Kam", Myles replies. Hendrix leaves the place. "That guy is never healthy," Heights says about Kam. That said, he points out that he must prepare for his match tonight. Meanwhile, he asks Borne to consider his proposal. Tavion leaves to end the segment.
We see Saquon Shugars stealthily watching a discussion between Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy. OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) approach to ask him what he's up to. Shugars replies that he's just looking for two allies to help him against DarkState. And fortunately, he has already found them. Nima makes it clear that it's not like that. "You must be joking. You've worked with DarkState for a long time, and now you're surprised that no one wants to help you?", Bronco asks. Price agrees with his partner. OTM leaves the place, only to meet BirthRight in full. Nima demands an explanation about what happened last week. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors point out that they were just doing what was necessary to win. Lexis King, on the other hand, tries to sow discord between Nima and Price. King asks Lucien if his partner informed him that he was going to Lucha Libre AAA without him. "He didn't, did he? Do you know why he didn't? Because what he's doing in AAA is for his family. Let's be honest, you've never really been family to him. He already has a family. His little brother, JJ", says Lexis. Bronco warns King to be careful with his words. Lexis makes it clear to OTM that they shouldn't worry about BirthRight, but about their own team, whose foundations seem to already have a crack. Lexis and his partners leave to end the segment.
We see Tristan Angels in the center of the ring. The Brit believes that God has a curious sense of humor. First, he created a man like Shiloh Hill. Someone happy to walk with mud under his boots, dirt under his nails, and fewer teeth than a Victorian peasant. As expected, God regretted his creation. That's why, as an apology, he sent Tristan to Earth. Angels takes out of his pocket the tooth he took from Hill last week. The Brit has taken responsibility for carrying it so that Shiloh can no longer keep lying. Now everyone will realize, including Hill himself, that he has never lived up to "Mr. England." "Shiloh, I'm not going to let you continue as you have been, and that's why I'm going to do you this favor right now", says Tristan as he leaves the ring. Angels places Hill's tooth on the metal stairs before crushing it.
Hill interrupts the segment from the venue screen. "Tristan, you're right. That tooth made me look normal. It helped my smile. But losing it was what helped me clarify my ideas, to begin with. Perception is not always reality, Tristan. I can fix my smile, but you can't fix the fact that now the fog is coming. The fog is coming!", exclaims Hill as he laughs maniacally. "Can you feel it, Tristan? THE FOG IS COMING", he shouts as the segment comes to an end.
We move to Robert Stone's office, where he talks with Izzi Dame and Lizzy Rain. Nattie, Nikkita Lyons, Karmen Petrovic, and Layla Diggs (with her left arm in a sling) join the conversation. Nattie reminds Stone that it was Diggs who got a title shot last week. That's why it would be fair for another member of her faction to receive the opportunity Layla (whom Nattie doesn't let speak) won't be able to cash in tonight. Nattie proposes Nikkita as a replacement. Izzi and Lizzy remind everyone present that they also didn't get the three count last week, so they also deserve that opportunity. The discussion quickly begins. Stone decides to settle the matter by agreeing with all of them. That's why tonight Zaria will defend the belt against Dame, Rain, and Lyons in a fatal four-way match. The General Manager informs them that the match will take place in about twenty minutes, so he advises them to leave to get ready. The six women quickly leave the office, thus ending this segment.
Tate Wilder vs. Naraku
Naraku is the first to strike. The Japanese wrestler unleashes a flurry of attacks in the ropes area. Tate surprises Naraku with his greater speed. Wilder applies a dropkick to expel the Japanese from the ring. Tate takes momentum to launch himself with a suicide dive, but his opponent stops him with a punch. Naraku takes his rival back into the ring. The Japanese is about to return, but Wilder crushes his back with a double foot stomp. Naraku remains lying on the ground with great pain in his back.
Wilder goes after Naraku, who is still complaining about his back. The referee approaches him to check his condition. Limping, Naraku takes refuge in one of the corners. Wilder approaches him, only to receive a kick. "Miraculously" recovered, Naraku throws his opponent against one of the corner posts. Tate ends up falling to the ground. Naraku takes him back into the ring to execute a German suplex. The Japanese punishes his rival with the help of the ropes. Naraku performs a Fisherman Suplex.
Naraku launches several chops on Wilder, followed by two suplexes. Naraku traps his rival in an STF. Wilder escapes from the Japanese to surprise him with a roll-up. 1..2..NO. Naraku takes down Tate before trapping him in a new submission hold. Wilder frees himself, but Naraku quickly resumes with several attacks aimed at his chest. Tate surprises Naraku with a slingblade to start a counterattack.
Wilder executes a backbreaker, followed by a suplex. 1..2..NO. Tate seeks height to launch himself with a diving crossbody. 1..2..NO. Wilder seeks height once again. However, this time his opponent pushes him forcefully towards ringside. Tate lands against the public barrier. Naraku goes after him to bring him back into the ring, where he finishes him off with the Into The Abyss.

Tony D'Angelo storms the ring to attack Naraku, who quickly seeks refuge at ringside. Two security members approach the place to stop Tony. However, he easily gets rid of both. The NXT Champion challenges his enemy to return to the ring. Naraku escapes from several security members to enter the ring, where D'Angelo is being held back by more security. Naraku spits his red mist. Tony ducks, causing the liquid to hit one of the security members in the face. D'Angelo lunges at the Japanese to resume the fight, a moment the segment comes to an end.
Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and EK Prosper converse backstage. Walker wants to get his revenge on Keanu Carver. Ledger and EK Prosper try to convince him otherwise, but Hank is more than determined. His companions wish him luck. At that moment, Saquon Shugars approaches them to wish Walker good luck. Soon he realizes that the three men are looking at him suspiciously. Saquon admits that he is looking for two partners for his tag team match against DarkState next week. And since they have had problems in the past with the faction, he believes they would be the right ones for the job. EK Prosper, Walker, and Ledger make it clear that they don't trust him. "It's clear you need help, but you won't get it from us," says Tank before leaving with his companions.
Four-Way Match for the NXT Women's North American Championship
Zaria (c) vs. Nikkita Lyons vs. Izzi Dame vs. Lizzy Rain
The four women exchange attacks as soon as the bell rings. Lizzy gets rid of Zaria with a flying headbutt in one of the corners. Now it's Nikkita who knocks out the Brit with a spinning kick. Izzi and Lyons continue the fight. Nikkita surprises Dame with a Michinoku Driver. 1..2..NO. Zaria and Rain return to interrupt the count. The four women exchange attacks. As a result, each ends up lying in one of the corners. They all stand up to restart the fight.
The action moves to ringside. Lizzy throws Nikkita against the metal stairs. Meanwhile, Zaria gets rid of Izzi in front of the commentary table. Rain and the champion return to the ring. Zaria executes several corner spears on Rain before finishing her off with a backbreaker. 1..2..NO. Zaria traps Lizzy in a submission hold. Meanwhile, a returning Lyons applies a Steiner Recliner on Dame. The referee pays close attention in case any of the trapped women submit. Zaria releases Rain to attack Nikkita.
Zaria chokes Lyons from the second turnbuckle. Izzi approaches, only to fall into the same hold. Now it's Lizzy who heads towards Zaria's position, but she can't repeat the move with the Brit. Rain takes down Zaria with a hurricanrana before covering her. 1..2..NO. Dame and Lyons interrupt the count. The action moves to the apron. Lizzy gets rid of Nikkita with a facebuster. Meanwhile, Zaria and Dame knock each other down with a clothesline in unison.
Lizzy throws herself at Zaria and Dame with a double Missile Dropkick. The Brit takes control of the match. Rain knocks down Lyons with a spinebuster before executing a DDT on Zaria. Izzi surprises Lizzy with a clothesline. Rain blocks a powerbomb to respond with a Cutter. 1..2..NO. Nikkita interrupts the count with a split-legged legdrop. Lyons knocks down Zaria and Dame to apply a double underhook powerbomb on Lizzy. 1..2..NO. "This is amazing," chant the fans.
Nikita executes a hurricanrana on Zaria for her to land on Lizzy in one of the corners. Lyons prepares both women before seeking height on one of the corners. Zaria recovers to hit the WWE Evolve Champion, whom she carries on her shoulders. Izzi knocks down Zaria with a dropkick, causing the Australian to apply a samoan drop on Nikkita.
The action continues. Zaria takes on all three of her opponents at the same time. The Australian survives an Izzi diving facebreaker before responding with a spear. 1..2..NO. Suddenly, Karmen Petrovic and Nattie make their way to ringside. Nikkita returns to catch Zaria off guard with a kick to the face. Meanwhile, Lizzy and Dame brawl at ringside.
Petrovic and Nattie try to attack Zaria, but... Jaida Parker appears to confront them! Lyons approaches Zaria to surprise her with another kick. Nikkita drags the Australian back into the ring, where she tries to finish her off with yet another kick. However, Zaria avoids it and answers with a spear. The champion hoists Lyons up before planting her with a decisive F-5. 1..2..3.

Saquon Shugars is talking with Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey backstage. Shugars complains that nobody wants to help him against DarkState. Grey says he shouldn't be surprised, as everyone has more than enough reasons to turn their back on him. Sinclair apologizes on behalf of her partner. Wren points out that the past is behind them, and if he's looking to make friends, he can join them in WrenQCC. Unfortunately, that won't help him with his DarkState problem. It will, however, teach him the best way to celebrate if he ends up defeating his former teammates. Lola Vice walks in, prompting Saquon to leave. Lola gets in Kendal's face. "We're not finished. I'm getting my title back," says Vice. "Then you'd better win tonight," Kendal replies. "I will," Vice answers before walking away.
Tony D'Angelo storms into Robert Stone's office demanding an explanation for what happened earlier tonight. Naraku nearly blinded him, yet the General Manager wouldn't let him get his revenge. Instead, he sent security guards and police officers to stop him. Stone makes it clear that his only intention is to protect him. However, if he wants another shot at the Japanese star, he'll get it in a championship match next week. "Well?" Robert asks. "Fine, but not good enough. That's seven days from now... and I'm not waiting," D'Angelo replies before walking away. "What are you going to do, Tony?" a worried Stone asks as he rushes after him. The segment comes to an end.
Jackson Drake (w/ Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes and Myka Lockwood) vs. Tavion Heights
Drake mocks Heights before kicking him. Tavion quickly fires back. Heights knocks down the former WWE Evolve Champion, who immediately retreats to one of the corners. Tavion crouches in the middle of the ring, inviting his opponent to come after him. As soon as Jackson does, Heights takes him down to the mat. Tavion continues to control the match.
Jackson manages to recover, but he's soon launched into one of the corners with a belly-to-belly suplex. Drake tumbles out to ringside. Tavion follows him and drops him across the apron. Heights returns to the ring to continue punishing his opponent, trapping him in a bear hug. Jackson strikes his opponent in the face to force the break. Heights whips Jackson into one of the corners before flooring him with a flying clothesline. 1..2..NO.
Drake escapes his opponent's grasp before crushing him with a senton. 1..2..NO. Jackson avoids a kick and catches his opponent in an Ankle Lock. Tavion escapes, only to be taken down with a handspring cutter. 1..2..NO. Heights halts Jackson's offense and responds with a bridging German suplex. 1..2..NO. Drake traps Tavion in the corner and delivers a Dragon Screw.
Jackson focuses his attack on his opponent's injured leg. Drake locks in a Figure Four Leglock. Unable to escape, Heights rolls over to reverse the pressure onto Jackson. Jackson crawls toward the ropes to force the break. Tavion resumes his assault, repeatedly slamming his opponent to the mat. Heights then delivers a belly-to-belly, sending Jackson crashing onto his own teammates at ringside!
Tavion brings his opponent back into the ring. At that moment, Brad climbs onto the apron to distract Heights, but Tavion quickly knocks the Tag Team Champion off with a right hand. Tavion moves in on Jackson looking for a belly-to-belly, but Drake counters with a roll-up. 1..2..3.

Reina Volcan stars in a new promotional video. "My soul has always had a voice demanding more, because history has a sound, and it sounds like barriers being broken. It's the sound of generations finally being represented. Nature doesn't ask for permission. It doesn't apologize. It doesn't care who gets in its way, just like WWE's first Dominican Superstar doesn't care," the wrestler says. She warns that beauty should never be mistaken for weakness. "While you're busy admiring the view, you won't notice the volcano awakening beneath your feet," she says before promising to take control of the NXT women's division. Reina Volcan ends the promo by announcing that her in-ring debut will take place next week.
Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar are talking backstage when Saquon Shugars walks in. Shugars admits he's having a hard time finding two people willing to help him against DarkState. Romeo immediately volunteers, but Noam isn't so convinced. The Spaniard tries to persuade him by reminding him that the opponents they'd be facing are former Tag Team Champions. A win over them could bring them one step closer to championship gold. "When was the last time Supernova 11 backed down from a fight?" Shugars asks the Scotsman, appealing to his pride. The strategy works, and Dar accepts Saquon's request to the delight of both Moreno and the former DarkState member. Shugars shakes hands with his new partners, bringing the segment to a close.
Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair are talking backstage. Sinclair asks her partner who she'd rather see win tonight. Kendal says it doesn't matter, because she intends to defend the NXT Women's Championship against anyone. A confident Kali Armstrong approaches Kendal and makes it clear that tonight she'll earn the rematch she's been waiting for. The difference is that this time the top prize in NXT will be on the line. Armstrong admits there hasn't been a single day when she hasn't thought about the moment they step into the ring together again. "Funny. I only think about dropping you on your head or making you tap out. Win tonight, and you'll find out," Kendal says before walking away with Wren. Kali continues on her way before suddenly crossing paths with Jaida Parker, who won't stop staring at her. Annoyed, Armstrong confronts her. "What are you looking at?" she asks threateningly. "I don't know, Difference Maker. You tell me. But save that energy, because Kelani and Lola don't give a damn about your nickname," Jaida replies. Kali walks away, and at that moment Nattie, Nikkita Lyons, and Karmen Petrovic attack Parker from behind. The three women continue beating down their victim on the floor. After several moments, Nattie signals for her partners to stop the assault. The segment comes to an end.
Shawn Spears stars in a promotional video outside the Performance Center. "NXT has always been about developing talent. I believe in that. That was my intention when I formed The Culling. I saw the same passion, determination, potential, the same drive that once fueled this place. 'The truth will ultimately prevail.' Izzi, the truth is you've become everything I hoped for and even more, and I'm proud of you. And you, Niko, big man, following in Izzi's footsteps. I'm proud of you too for stepping up. But the moment you put me through that table, you took two steps backward. If you thought you'd learned everything from me and were ready to stand on your own, you should've known I'd be coming back for you. Next week, I'm throwing you into the deep end. We'll see how much you've really learned."
Triple Threat Match for an NXT Women's Championship Opportunity
Kelani Jordan vs. Kali Armstrong vs. Lola Vice
Kelani and Lola shove each other. Armstrong tries to capitalize by charging at both women with a double clothesline, but they avoid it and send her to the floor. Lola traps Jordan in a headlock. Kelani tries to break free in the corner. At that moment, Kali returns and crushes both women. Armstrong unleashes a series of corner spears on her opponents in opposite corners. Jordan avoids one of the attacks, sending Kali crashing into the ring post.
Kelani and Vice resume their one-on-one battle. Lola charges for a Running Hip Attack, but Jordan grabs the referee and uses him as a human shield. Vice stops herself from hitting the official, allowing Kelani to slap her across the face. Jordan drags Lola into the corner and unleashes a flurry of strikes. Vice quickly fires back. Armstrong returns to take control.
Kali starts dishing out powerslams left and right. Armstrong rains down punches on Kelani, sending her to ringside. Kali tries to do the same to Lola, but Vice resists. Jordan grabs Lola's legs and pulls her out of the ring. Kelani levels her with a clothesline before returning to the ring to continue the match. Jordan catches Armstrong with a hurricanrana and follows up with a dropkick. 1..2..NO.
Lola gets back in the ring. Kelani throws Kali into her. Jordan then hits a neckbreaker on Vice while Vice simultaneously delivers a DDT to Armstrong. Kelani covers Lola. 1..2..NO. Jordan covers Kali. 1..2..NO. Vice kicks Kelani before locking Kali in a Guillotine Choke. Jordan kicks Lola in the head to break the hold. Armstrong and Kelani struggle for position. Kali catches Jordan with a powerslam. 1..2..NO. Vice breaks up the pin.
The action continues. Kelani tries to knock Lola off the apron, but Vice stops her with a kick. The former NXT Women's Champion dives onto Jordan with a back senton. The two women trade strikes before Kali launches herself onto both of them with a diving crossbody. Armstrong drags Vice back into the ring and continues the attack. Kali batters the former NXT Women's Champion in the corner. Kelani returns and pulls Armstrong away from Vice, allowing her to kick Lola. Kali then pulls Kelani away from Vice.
Armstrong and Jordan argue while shoving each other. Lola takes advantage by pushing Kelani into Kali. Vice kicks both opponents. Jordan ends the flurry with a chop block. Kelani and Kali kick Vice before deciding to form a temporary alliance. Together, they flatten Lola with a double elbow strike. Jordan suggests they perform their signature arm taunt together. Kali obliges, only for Kelani to kick her in the stomach, ending the alliance. Jordan sends Armstrong to ringside.
Kelani tries to lock Lola in a Sharpshooter, but the former NXT Women's Champion resists. Kali returns and floors Jordan with a clothesline. Now Armstrong tries to apply a Sharpshooter on Vice. Lola kicks Kali away to escape. Kelani comes back and attempts a Full Nelson on Vice. Armstrong grabs Lola by the legs. Vice rolls through and takes down both opponents at the same time.
Lola unleashes a barrage of kicks on Jordan and Kali, leaving them seated in opposite corners. Vice connects with a Running Hip Attack on Armstrong, sending her to ringside. Lola follows with three consecutive Running Hip Attacks on Kelani before Kali catches her with a spinebuster. 1..2..NO. Jordan breaks up the cover with a double footstomp to Armstrong's back.
Kelani grabs both opponents by the arms and kicks them repeatedly. Armstrong and Vice get back to their feet ready for revenge, but Kelani stops them with a double Eat the Feet. Jordan avoids Kali charging into the corner, causing Armstrong to crush Lola instead. Kelani then plants Armstrong with a release German suplex. Jordan follows with a springboard legdrop on Lola. After that, she goes for a split-legged moonsault, but Vice gets her knees up.
Lola locks Kelani in a Triangle Choke. Unable to reach the ropes, Jordan rolls over Vice into a pin. 1..2..NO. Kali breaks up the count. Kelani counters Armstrong's powerbomb into a roll-up. 1..2..NO. Vice breaks the pin with a knee strike straight to Jordan's face, sending her to ringside. Lola attempts an armbar on Kali, but Jordan crashes onto Vice with a frog splash. 1..2..NO. "This is awesome!" the fans chant.
Armstrong, Vice, and Jordan exchange strikes with whatever energy they have left. Kali catches Lola with a scoop powerslam. She then plants her with the Kali Connection. Lola rolls to ringside, preventing Armstrong from making the cover. Jordan catches Kali with a roll-up. 1..2..NO. The two women exchange roll-ups. Jordan counters another scoop powerslam into a roll-up. 1..2..NO. The referee stops the three-count just before Armstrong can break it up. The fans are furious over what happened.
Jordan unloads with a series of kicks on Kali. Lola returns and throws a back fist. Kelani ducks, causing Vice's finisher to connect flush with Armstrong's face, dropping her to the mat. Jordan immediately levels Vice with a handspring back elbow. Kelani heads to the top rope looking to finish Kali with a 450 Splash. However, just as she goes for the cover, Lola catches her with a kick to the face, sending Jordan to ringside. Vice covers Armstrong. 1..2..3.

We head to the parking lot, where Tony D'Angelo and Naraku are brawling. Several security guards rush in to separate them. Robert Stone appears and berates both men.
