TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! Results July 16, 2026

- M By Elegance (with Heather By Elegance and Personal Concierge) defeated Rosemary (with Allie) to advance to the second round of the Knockouts Television Championship tournament. In the final moments of the match, Heather climbed onto the apron to distract the referee, a moment that M took advantage of to spit champagne in Rosemary's face. With her opponent blinded, M applied a roll-up to seal her victory.

- The System conducted a backstage promo. Alisha Edwards mocked those who believed the faction was falling apart, stating they were very wrong. Eddie Edwards made it clear that a defeat wouldn't end them. Brian Myers addressed Ricky Sosa directly to assure him that his victory last week was just luck. Bear Bronson agreed with his partner but was also furious for being the one who received the pinfall in that match. That's why he vowed to destroy Sosa. Cedric Alexander addressed Fabian Aichner, his opponent that night, promising to show him why he dominates the X-Division. Eddie concluded the promo by affirming that by the end of the night, everyone would understand why they can't beat the system (Beat The System).

- Moose defeated A.J. Francis (with Expressions) by disqualification after Frankie Kazarian attacked Moose. Francis continued to attack Moose to finally deliver a chokeslam.

- Elayna Black conducted a backstage promo to send a message to Wendy Choo, her opponent next week in the tournament to determine the first Knockouts Television Champion. Black began by mocking the NXT/Evolve wrestler, but soon confessed that she respected her. Unfortunately, Choo stands in her way. A path that will lead her directly to gold, which is why she signed with TNA. And once she wins the tournament, she will become the greatest champion in Knockouts history. Xia Brookside interrupted the promo to make it clear to Black that she is the greatest champion in Knockouts history, and the World Championship she carried on her shoulder was proof of that. And that was something that wouldn't change. With that said, she advised Elayna to shut her mouth and stay away from her. Black, on her part, pointed out that they both knew the former was everything Brookside would never be. Elayna bid a mocking farewell to Xia before leaving.

- Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, The Great Hands, and Special Agent 0) made their way to the ring. Ali stated that their faction was the most dominant in the company's history. Mustafa made it clear that their intention was to bring gold to the team. "However, it seems that only one has gotten the message," he said with the TNA International Championship in his hands. Ali recalled sending Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Tasha Steelz on a mission to win belts, but they only brought him trouble. Mustafa made it clear they had disappointed him. Nevertheless, he was still hungry for gold, so he needed help to get his team in line. With that said, he introduced Mila Moore as the new member and "Secretary of Strategic Affairs" of Order 4.

Moore thanked Ali for believing in her and for this unique opportunity. Mila was aware that Mustafa had many issues to deal with. Fortunately, she was the solution. "Tonight, in front of everyone, I declare that I believe in Ali (In Ali I Trust)", she said to conclude her intervention. Mustafa changed the subject to point out that the next step for Order 4 was a new defense of the International Championship. Ali challenged the entire TNA Wrestling roster for next week, where one of them would have the opportunity to compete for his belt through a vote. With that, Mustafa and Mila left the ring to attend to faction matters. Meanwhile, their surprised teammates followed Moore backstage.

TNA provided a medical update on several of its talents:

  • Moose is under observation after the attack suffered at the hands of Frankie Kazarian and A.J. Francis.
  • Léi Yǐng Lee does not have medical clearance to compete due to the aftermath of her match against Xia Brookside last week. There is no approximate date for her return to action.
  • Fabian Aichner has medical clearance for his title match tonight.
  • Nic Nemeth is in "pristine condition".

- A video showed The Righteous receiving a mysterious message inside an envelope. In it, The Broken Hardys invited them to their Compound for a Deletion. The segment ended with Dutch and Vincent smiling.

- Bear Bronson defeated Ricky Sosa after hitting a Monster Driver.

- Moose approached Elijah to ask if he had seen what happened in his match against A.J. Francis. He then proposed joining forces with him to face Frankie Kazarian and A.J. Francis next week. "You don't need to convince me," Elijah said to accept Moose's proposal. He pointed out that in seven days, they would put an end to this matter once and for all. Elijah and Moose went their separate ways as the segment came to an end.

- Thea Hail defeated Harley Hudson to advance to the second round of the Knockouts Television Championship tournament. Hail applied a springboard back senton for the victory.

- Nic Nemeth conducted a promo in the ring. In it, he proclaimed himself the best wrestler of the moment globally, stating that everyone is after him and his TNA World Championship. Because when it's on the line, the whole world watches attentively. A serious KC Navarro interrupted the promo. Nemeth ordered him to go back to backstage, but Navarro had something to say. Nic didn't allow him to speak. He offered him the chance to live in his shadow, but he didn't meet his expectations. "Now, get out of my ring!" exclaimed the champion. KC Navarro obeyed. Meanwhile, Nic mocked the situation. Furious, Navarro interrupted him from the entrance ramp. Navarro understood perfectly that sometimes you give and give to someone, but you don't receive anything in return. Navarro acknowledged he had missed many title opportunities. However, he was ready to show the whole world that he could defeat the TNA World Champion. That's why he challenged Nemeth to a title match next week. Nic accepted the proposal with one condition: once he defeats Navarro, he must completely forget about him. He won't approach Nic again, won't send him any more messages, and will delete his phone number. Nemeth promised him that if he accepted these conditions, he would speak with Daria Rae to schedule the match. The segment ended with the champion reiterating that Navarro would have to leave him alone forever once he defeats him.

- Cedric Alexander defeated Fabian Aichner to retain the X-Division Championship in the main event of the night. In the final moments of the match, taking advantage of a distraction from the referee, Eddie Edwards appeared out of nowhere to execute a Boston Knee Party on the Italian. Alexander finished him off with a Lumbercheck for the victory. After the match, Edwards and Alexander continued to attack Fabian, but Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa appeared on the scene to save the European.
