NJPW G1 Climax 36 Results (Day 3)

New Japan Pro-Wrestling held the second day of their traditional G1 Climax 36 tournament last night, where 20 wrestlers will compete in two groups to reach a final and a victory that will allow them to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom. The show took place at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center Hokkai Kitayell in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo Prefecture, Japan, in front of a live audience of 2,409 fans.

• G1 Climax - Block B: Aaron Wolf defeated Shota Umino* by forfeit.
• Jake Lee and Zane Jay defeated Hirooki Goto and Tatsuya Matsumoto in a tag team match. Lee applied a Front Necklock on Matsumoto for the win.
• Ryohei Oiwa and Hartley Jackson defeated Great-O-Khan and Jakob Austin Young in a tag team match. Jackson applied a Death Valley Bomb on Young for the victory.
• Konosuke Takeshita and Toru Yano vs. Yuto-Ice and Gedo ended in a double count out.
• SANADA and Yoshinobu Kanemaru defeated Yota Tsuji and Daiki Nagai in a tag team match. SANADA applied a Skull End on Nagai for the win.
