WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,730, from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. This will be the penultimate show of the red brand before SummerSlam and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature several matches and segments of interest, including a one-on-one between LA Knight and Jacob Fatu. Additionally, Chad Gable and Penta will team up against Ethan Page and Rusev in a tag team match. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened in the show.
WWE Raw starts on Netflix!
The show begins with a video recap of the last edition of Saturday Night's Main Event at Madison Square Garden.
We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists at the venue: The Vision in full, Penta, Chad Gable, Jimmy Uso, Jacob Fatu, and LA Knight (accompanied by Royce Keys).
Tag Team Match
The Vision (Austin Theory and Bron Breakker) (with Logan Paul and Maxxine Dupri) vs. Je'Von Evans and Dragon Lee
Je'Von and Lee attack their opponents before they can enter the ring. Dragon takes Theory inside the ring to start the match. Evans delivers a running kick on Austin as the bell rings. Je'Von tags in his partner to continue the assault on the Tag Team World Champion. He manages to react, but is soon brought down by a hurricanrana from the masked wrestler. Lee tags in Evans, who performs a new hurricanrana on Theory, followed by a dropkick.
Bron tags in without Evans noticing. Austin and Breakker take advantage to surprise Je'Von with a double bodydrop. Breakker continues to hit Je'Von. He shows his agility to escape from Bron and tags in Lee. The Mexican gets rid of Theory in his own corner before continuing his assault on Breakker. Logan and Theory distract the Mexican long enough for his partner to recover. Dragon jumps on Bron, but he stops him in mid-air to execute a bodyslam.
Breakker and Theory take turns punishing the masked wrestler. Austin takes his time to pose with Maxxine at ringside before returning to surprise his opponent with a direct clothesline to the back of the head. Theory hits Je'Von in his own corner to provoke him. The referee (Jessika Carr) prevents Evans from leaving the corner, a moment that their opponents take advantage of to attack Dragon.
Lee dodges a corner spear from Bron, who ends up hitting his own corner. Dragon throws Theory out of the ring to tag in Je'Von, who enters with everything. Evans surprises Austin with a Stunner. Theory ends up at ringside, where he receives the impact of a tope from Je'Von. Bron charges at Evans, but he dodges him so that the former falls over the audience barrier. Je'Von takes a run to launch himself at Breakker with a tope. After that, he returns to the ring to perform a springboard clothesline on Austin. 1..2..NO. "This is amazing!" the fans chant.
Evans immobilizes Theory in one of the corners. Dragon receives the tag. Lee kicks Austin to leave him hanging by his legs. Lee performs a double footstomp on Theory. Logan gets on the apron to complain to the referee. Meanwhile, Maxxine grabs the legs of the Mexican so that Bron can hit him with a well-charged clothesline. Austin finishes him off with an Ushigoroshi. 1..2..NO. Evans interrupts the count. Bron gets rid of Je'Von with a spear. After that, he receives the tag from Theory. He immobilizes Dragon so that his partner can execute a well-charged spear. 1..2..3.
Winners: The Vision
Evans returns to the ring to attend to his partner, but Theory and Breakker do not allow it. The Tag Team World Champions attack Je'Von, but suddenly.
Otis and Akira Tozawa come to the rescue!
The members of Alpha Academy burst into the ring to start a fight with Bron and Austin. Tozawa dives with a suicide dive on Breakker while Otis knocks down Theory with a bodyslam. Dupri enters the ring to slap Otis. Far from achieving his goal, Maxxine only manages to further enrage her former partner, who crushes Bron and Austin in one of the corners. Otis and Tozawa clear the commentator's table, with the former preparing Austin to smash him against it. However, Bron surprises him with a spear. Theory takes Akira inside the ring to knock him out with a left hook. A pained Otis tries to reach his partner, but ends up in the clutches of his enemies. Austin immobilizes Otis so that Bron can finish him off with a new spear. The Vision pose over Otis to end this segment.
The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Liv Morgan) threaten Danhausen backstage. The heels demand that Danhausen return the money he stole from them. However, he claims not to have it. "If you don't return our money right now, I'll crack your head open!," exclaims Morgan as she threatens him with her Women's World Championship. Danhausen asks them to let him go and he will bring it back. "You have 30 seconds to go and come back. Otherwise, I have JD here to smash your face. That way, we won't have to listen to your little curses," says Dom. "Deal!," exclaims Danhausen before running off.
We see a new promotional video starring Big Cass. He stands watching some clips of his first stage in WWE, including his injuries and his dismissal. "Even if you haven't reached the top, you have no idea how far you can fall," he says.
Byron Saxton interviews Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in the seating area. Saxton asks the Texans about the rivalry The Judgment Day currently has with Danhausen. Perez makes it clear that he will be in serious trouble if he doesn't return the money they stole. As simple as that. Byron now turns to Raquel to announce that next week she will face Sol Ruca for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Rodriguez points out that title should be in her possession. However, The Judgment Day has many enemies, and some of them have interfered in their mission. Raquel wants to congratulate Sol on her success as champion, but also hopes she keeps the title warm for when she takes it in seven days. That said, she addresses Byron directly, hoping the interviewer finally learns to pronounce the "Rs" in her name correctly, because from next week he will have to introduce her as the "new Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez". The Texans leave to end the interview.
Danhausen makes his entrance into the ring with a portable briefcase in his hands. After greeting the fans, Danhausen admits that he thought his story with The Judgment Day was over. However, it seems that the faction is still determined to get their money back. Danhausen is fully aware that this money has brought him nothing but trouble. "But I don't want The Judgment Day to have it. How about if I give it to the fans-hausens? Who wants human money?," Danhausen asks while showing his portable briefcase.

Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh make it clear that isn't going to happen. Both men enter the ring demanding that Danhausen give them their money back. "I only have one thing to say. You are cursed!", he says before trying to make his escape. However, JD and Dom catch him before he can leave the ring. McDonagh and Mysterio kick Danhausen while Liv Morgan berates him. Liv slaps Danhausen across the face, only for him to be kicked once again by his enemies. Suddenly...
Say his name and he is appear!
Joe Hendry comes to the rescue! The Scotsman quickly sends McDonagh out of the ring before planting Mysterio with a Freak of Nature. Liv takes advantage of the chaos to grab the briefcase. Hendry then clotheslines Dominik over the top rope to send him out of the ring. The Judgment Day retreat toward the backstage area while Joe helps Danhausen back to his feet.
We see the third chapter of the story of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, this time focusing on the "Heist of the Century" at WrestleMania 31.
We head backstage, where The Judgment Day are arguing with Danhausen and Joe Hendry, with Adam Pearce trying to keep the peace. JD McDonagh opens Danhausen's briefcase only to discover it is filled with counterfeit money. Furious, the Irishman throws the briefcase aside and threatens Danhausen. Pearce, Danhausen, and Hendry all try to warn McDonagh by pointing behind him, but the Irishman keeps ranting. Finally, JD turns around and comes face-to-face with an enraged Oba Femi, who is holding the briefcase. "Is this your bag?", he asks the Irishman. JD points at Danhausen. "He threw it," Danhausen says. "You know what? I should kill you for this," Oba replies. Adam picks up the briefcase while looking for a solution to the conflict. "How about you settle this in the ring right now?", the General Manager suggests. Oba agrees and heads off to get ready. "That's not fair," Mysterio tells Pearce. "You're right. It's not fair. You can face Joe Hendry later tonight," Adam responds. He then escorts The Judgment Day members toward the ring, bringing the segment to a close.
Oba Femi makes his entrance. "Oooooooooooooooooooooooba! Oooooooooooooooooooooooba!" the fans chant as they welcome the Nigerian. Meanwhile, Adam Pearce accompanies JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio to the ring. The Judgment Day members continue protesting, refusing to accept that this match is happening. Suddenly, Danhausen and Joe Hendry appear out of nowhere, surprising them and sending them into the ring, where Oba greets them with a double clothesline.
Oba Femi vs. JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio)
Oba knocks Dominik out of the ring, prompting the referee to call for the bell. Femi turns his attention to JD, who immediately drives a kick into his stomach. The Irishman continues his assault on "The Ruler," but his attacks soon prove ineffective. McDonagh hits the ropes looking for momentum, only to be taken down with a body drop. Oba follows up with three consecutive uppercuts before launching his opponent through the air. Femi finishes JD off with a devastating Fall From Grace. 1...2...3.
Winner: Oba Femi
Oba looks into the camera to send a message to Brock Lesnar. "Enough with the nonsense. Enough with the stupidity. Enough with the bullshit. All this fake money business... The real money is inside Hell in a Cell. I'll see you there, Brock." The Nigerian then poses for the fans as the segment comes to an end.
Byron Saxton interviews Sol Ruca in the crowd. Sol admits she's excited about her upcoming title defense against Raquel Rodriguez. However, the Texan is about to experience a sense of déjà vu, because she'll once again see her opponent finish the match with the Women's Intercontinental Championship still around her waist. Ruca reminds everyone that Rodriguez has already fallen victim to the Sol Snatcher, and she has no problem stealing her soul all over again. Lyra Valkyria interrupts the interview. The Irishwoman congratulates Ruca on doing such a good job carrying the title that she "created." Sol asks Lyra why she looks so different. Valkyria says she's feeling great, especially now that she's gotten rid of some dead weight. With that, she makes it clear that her goal is to reclaim what belongs to her. So no matter who walks away with the championship, she'll be coming after it. The Irishwoman walks away. Saxton thanks Sol for her time, bringing the interview to a close.
Solo Sikoa storms into the ring. Solo admits he shouldn't be there since this isn't his show. However, there's something he needs to do, so he calls out Seth Rollins. Rollins wastes no time making his entrance. "The Visionary" stands face-to-face with the Samoan and welcomes him to his show, "Monday Night Rollins." He then asks whether Sikoa came to talk or to fight. "Fight! Fight! Fight!" the fans chant. "I came to talk. I'm not here to fight," the Samoan replies. The crowd boos.
Sikoa knows Seth is focused on his match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. However, he needs to realize he's not facing just one man, but the entire Bloodline. That's why Solo offers to have his back at SummerSlam. Rollins admits Solo is right about everything he has said. That's why he'll think about the offer. Seth starts to leave the ring, but Sikoa grabs him by the arm to stop him. Solo doesn't understand what there is to think about. "This is the game plan. Trust me. Look, it's the same thing you did for Cody a few years ago to beat Roman. I can do the same for you," Solo says.
Jacob Fatu bursts onto the scene!
Solo quickly escapes the ring before Fatu can get his hands on him. "The Samoan Werewolf" shouts at him from ringside. "You know what you have to do! You know exactly what you have to do!" Jacob yells, reminding him of his orders to return to the family. Fatu then turns toward Rollins, who blasts him with a superkick! A grinning Seth exits the ring while Jacob remains standing in the corner. Rollins continues making his way backstage with his back turned to "The Samoan Werewolf," who does nothing to retaliate.
We see a video recap of the confrontation between Penta and Chad Gable at the SummerSlam Kickoff.
Ethan Page and Rusev make their entrance. During the commercial break, "All Ego" grabs a microphone to address the crowd. The fans boo him before he can even say a single word. Page isn't surprised by the reaction, though he says their anger should be directed at the person who truly deserves it: Chad Gable. Ethan claims the fans have fallen for Gable's redemption story. He reminds everyone that Chad failed in his last attempt to win the Intercontinental Championship, and the same thing will happen when he challenges Penta for the gold in his hometown. Ethan asks Rusev what he thinks about Gable. "BANGARANGA!" the Bulgarian exclaims. "All Ego" translates for his partner, saying that Rusev just called Chad an idiot. Something that also applies to Penta for trusting Gable. Ethan wraps up the brief promo by saying Gable's so-called redemption journey is just another reason why he's an idiot.
Tag Team Match
Ethan Page and Rusev vs. Penta and Chad Gable
Ethan and Rusev jump their opponents before the bell to gain the early advantage. The heels work together on Penta, planting him with a double suplex. Rusev covers him. 1...2...NO. Penta escapes and tags in Chad, who takes both opponents down with a double diving clothesline. The action continues. Rusev knocks Penta off the apron to regain control for his team. The Bulgarian tries to rip off the Mexican's mask, but Penta refuses to let him.
Ethan gets the tag and continues punishing Penta, locking him in a headlock. Rusev tags back in to drive kicks into the masked wrestler. The Bulgarian continues the assault against the ropes, forcing the referee to intervene. Rusev signals to his partner to attack Penta illegally. The action continues. Penta kicks his opponent in the stomach before crushing him with a diving crossbody. Both men are left laid out on the canvas. Rusev and Penta crawl toward their respective corners to tag in their partners.
Gable comes in on fire, throwing suplexes all over the place. Chad plants Ethan with an Angle Slam. 1...2...NO. Gable goes for a moonsault, but Page moves out of the way just in time. Rusev gets the tag and drills Chad with an uranage. 1...2...NO. Penta breaks up the pin. The Mexican sends Page out of the ring before wiping him out with a tope con hilo. Meanwhile, Chad and Rusev continue exchanging blows in the middle of the ring.
Rusev blocks Gable's Angle Slam attempt and locks him in the Accolade. Gable digs deep to fight his way out. Rusev then throws him into Penta, knocking him to ringside. The Bulgarian turns his attention back to Chad, only for Gable to trap him in a painful Ankle Lock. Ethan tries to save his partner, but Penta cuts him off with a Mexican Destroyer. Unable to withstand the pain any longer, Rusev taps out.

We see Gable holding the Intercontinental Championship. After taking a long look at it, he hands it back to its rightful owner. Chad and Penta raise each other's arms to bring the segment to a close.
We see the fourth chapter of the story of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. This installment looks back at the first singles match between the two rivals.
Seth Rollins runs into Jacob Fatu backstage. "Come on, Jacob. Go ahead. Hit me!" "The Visionary" shouts. "I know you want to. Come on, Jacob!" Fatu remains silent. Seth laughs, knowing full well that "The Samoan Werewolf" won't lay a hand on him under direct orders from Roman Reigns. "When I beat Roman at SummerSlam, I'll have his title. But will I have his errand boy too?" Rollins asks. "You got one on me tonight. I bet it won't happen again. And if there's anything left of you after SummerSlam, I'll kick your ass!" the Samoan fires back. "Oh, I can't wait," a smiling Seth replies before walking away.
Paul Heyman stars in a promotional video. "The Advocate" introduces himself as the representative of the "King of the Cell" and the Beast of the Brocktagon, Brock Lesnar. Heyman says he has been specifically asked not to use the word "violence" when describing what will happen in the Hell in a Cell Match between his client and Oba Femi. "How am I supposed to do that?" he asks. Because violence is exactly what awaits Femi when he steps inside the Cell with Lesnar. Paul reminds everyone that Brock has never lost a Hell in a Cell Match, and "The Ruler" won't be the man to end that streak. "Oba Femi, you cannot defeat Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell. And your rookie year won't be remembered for the reason everyone hopes it will—because Oba Femi dominated the entire roster. No, no, no, no. Your rookie year will be remembered because it will come to a violent end in Minneapolis at the hands of Brock Lesnar," Heyman says to close the promo.
We see the fifth chapter of the story of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, this time focusing on the reunion of The Shield.
We see a video recap of the heated confrontation between Nick Aldis and Gunther at the SummerSlam Kickoff, which ended with Triple H announcing a match between the two at the Biggest Event of the Summer.
Dominik Mysterio (w/ Liv Morgan) vs. Joe Hendry
Dominik charges at Joe, unleashing a flurry of offense. Hendry quickly turns the tide. The Scotsman slams Mysterio to the mat before dragging him into the corner, where he unloads with a series of kicks. Joe whips Dom into the opposite turnbuckle before delivering a lengthy Stalling Suplex. Dominik manages to send his opponent to the outside. Mysterio dives through the ropes with a suicide dive, but Joe catches him in midair and drops him onto the announce table.
Hendry brings Dominik back into the ring. As the referee checks on the AAA Mega Champion, Liv takes advantage of the distraction to shove the Scotsman into the ring post. Morgan celebrates her interference when Danhausen suddenly appears. Liv immediately gets in his face. "You... are..." Danhausen begins, attempting to curse her, but the Women's World Champion cuts him off with a right hand that knocks him down. A hurting Danhausen retreats up the entrance ramp while Dominik attacks Hendry and hurls him into the steel steps.
Mysterio continues punishing Joe inside the ring. Dominik attempts The Three Amigos, but Hendry prevents him from completing the third suplex. Mysterio quickly regains control, grounding the Scotsman with a headlock. Meanwhile, Liv simply enjoys the show. Hendry powers back to his feet with his opponent on his shoulders before countering with a suplex. The Scotsman keeps the momentum going with a Freak of Nature, followed by a crushing lariat. 1...2...NO.
Joe sets up for the finish, but Liv distracts him from the apron. Mysterio capitalizes with a tornado DDT. Both men are left laid out on the canvas. Suddenly, Danhausen returns in his Carhausen, accompanied by IYO SKY! The Genius of the Sky immediately goes after Morgan, taking her down with a Missile Dropkick. SKY stays on the attack, following up with a diving crossbody. The referee is distracted by the brawl, allowing Danhausen to enter the ring and plant Dominik with a Triple D. Joe simply has to make the cover. 1...2...3.

Byron Saxton interviews The Vision on the entrance ramp. Saxton asks Austin Theory about his rivalry with Alpha Academy. Theory admits he didn't hear a single word Byron said because all of his attention was on Maxxine Dupri. Byron then asks Maxxine if she feels any shame over what happened with her former teammates. Dupri says Saxton should be the one embarrassed for asking such a question. Maxxine makes it clear she regrets nothing because all she did was stand by her bad boy—the most talented and sexiest man in all of WWE. Logan Paul steps up to the microphone, immediately drawing loud boos from the crowd. Paul has to raise his voice to be heard over the jeers. "The Maverick" mocks Otis, promising that Bron Breakker will destroy him next week. Theory then has a message for his enemies. "Isn't it obvious, Otis and Tozawa? The Vision is crystal clear. And she (Maxxine) is mine," he says as the segment comes to an end.
LA Knight makes his way to the ring. "The Megastar" grabs a microphone to address the WWE Universe. LA Knight reminds everyone that in two weeks he'll team up with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to take on The Bloodline at SummerSlam. But right now, he's confused. Did Solo really offer to help Seth Rollins tonight? Because that's an idea he doesn't like. In fact, it makes him trust Solo a little less. "Talking about Seth Rollins versus Roman Reigns at SummerSlam makes me sick," he says. "OTC! OTC!" the fans chant. LA Knight says he won't waste his time arguing with the crowd because they've simply been fooled by Roman Reigns. A man who spent years begging the fans to like him until he finally realized one thing: LA Knight is everything the Samoan wishes he could be. Unlike Roman, the fans have loved LA Knight since the very day he arrived in WWE.
LA Knight puts his hatred for Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins aside to refocus on his rivalry with The Bloodline. "The Megastar" appreciates everything Solo Sikoa has done against "The OTC's" faction, which is why he'll stand beside him at SummerSlam. LA Knight knows The Bloodline will do everything in its power to ensure Reigns retains the World Heavyweight Championship in Minneapolis. That's why he and his partners will take them out before they can become a deciding factor that night. One of those men is Jacob Fatu, whom he'll face next. "The Megastar" knows "The Samoan Werewolf" will try to test his strength, but there's nothing Fatu can do to stop LA Knight.

Both men stare each other down before locking up. LA Knight and Fatu begin with a feeling-out process. "The Megastar" backs Fatu into the corner and unloads with a barrage of punches before cinching in a grounded headlock. Fatu escapes and the two exchange heavy strikes. LA Knight traps the Samoan in the corner once again, unleashing a flurry of punches and corner spears.
Jacob breaks free and floors his opponent with a thunderous chop. Fatu looks to follow up with a running hip attack, but LA Knight wisely rolls out to ringside. LA Knight grabs Fatu's leg and slams his left knee into the ring post. He then slides back into the ring and follows up with a chop block. The Samoan recovers and sends LA Knight to the outside before launching himself through the ropes with a suicide dive.
Jacob keeps the pressure on. LA Knight fires back by throwing the Samoan into the steel steps. "The Megastar" dives at Fatu, but Jacob catches him in midair and drives him through the announce table with a Samoan Drop. "The Samoan Werewolf" stalks around ringside before being caught by a rope dropkick. LA Knight drags Jacob to the steel steps and smashes his head into the steel. He follows up with a diving clothesline.
LA Knight rolls Jacob back into the ring. The Samoan catches him with a back elbow before sending him crashing into the ring post. Jacob teases pulling a table out from under the ring, sending the fans into a frenzy. The crowd immediately boos when they realize he has no intention of using it. Fatu instead brings LA Knight back into the ring and crushes him with two consecutive sentons, followed by a running hip attack. 1...2...NO. "We want tables!" the fans chant.
Jacob locks LA Knight in a painful submission hold. "The Megastar" fights free with a series of elbows. LA Knight avoids a charge in the corner and answers with a neckbreaker. 1...2...NO. LA Knight heads to the top rope, but a recovered Fatu kicks him, leaving him draped across the ropes. "The Samoan Werewolf" crushes him with a variation of a senton across the ropes before covering him. 1...2...NO.
The action spills to the top turnbuckle, where LA Knight catches Fatu with a massive superplex. Both men are left laid out. Jimmy Uso runs to the ring, only to be cut off by Solo Sikoa, who looks to hit a Samoan Spike. However, Jacob stops him with a suicide dive. Fatu then gets back into the ring to continue the match.
LA Knight blocks a Samoan Drop and connects with a Blunt Force Trauma. Jimmy climbs onto the apron and distracts the referee, preventing the three-count. At that moment, Royce Keys rushes to the ring to take Jimmy out. Suddenly, Jey Uso's entrance music hits. Jey jumps the barricade and nails Keys with three superkicks before throwing him over the barricade. Furious, LA Knight wipes Jey out with a rope dropkick. "The Megastar" climbs back into the ring, where Fatu catches him with a superkick. Jacob follows up with a Samoan Drop before crushing him with a moonsault. 1...2...3.

Sikoa charges into the ring, triggering an all-out brawl. Jacob traps LA Knight in the Tongan Death Grip. Jimmy, Jey, and Fatu then take turns crushing LA Knight with a series of Running Hip Attacks. Jey caps it off with an Uso Splash. The members of The Bloodline stand tall over their fallen enemies as this week's episode comes to a close.
