WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,731, from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. This will be the last show of the red brand before SummerSlam and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature several matches and segments of interest, including a final face-off between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins before their clash at PLE, the weigh-in of Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, and a new defense of the Women's Intercontinental Championship. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened in the show.
WWE Raw begins on Netflix!
The show starts with Adam Pearce and Triple H in the ring, on which the Hell in a Cell structure descends. Next, we see Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar heading to the ring accompanied by several security agents. Oba is the first to appear on the scene. "Oooooooooooooba, Ooooooooooooooba!" chant the fans to welcome the Nigerian. "The Ruler" enters the structure, where he shakes hands with Triple H and Pearce. The latter reminds the King of the Ring that next weekend he will face one of the greatest athletes in the history of contact sports. With that said, he asks him to step on the scale for his weigh-in. Femi steps on it. The scale reads 302 pounds. Next, Pearce introduces Lesnar, who makes his entrance accompanied by Paul Heyman.
Brock lets the security agents accompanying him enter the structure and then closes the door. Femi runs towards the door, but it has already been completely closed. "The Beast" puts the key of the padlock of the door in his mouth in front of Oba, who can do nothing to reach his enemy. Lesnar climbs onto the commentator's table while Heyman carries out his presentation. Paul describes Oba as the underdog of the match that will face his client at SummerSlam. "Brock Lesnar is the Beast of the Brocktagon. Brock Lesnar has never lost inside Hell in a Cell. It's a streak that will never be broken. This Beast conquered The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. And this aspiring Ruler thinks he can end Brock Lesnar's streak? No way!", exclaims "The Advocate". On the other hand, Heyman is fully aware of why his client and Femi are here tonight. That's why Lesnar has already weighed in, with the scale reading 303 pounds. Brock leaves the key on the floor, far out of Oba's reach, who challenges him to enter the structure. Lesnar takes the microphone to approach the fence and thus be in front of the Nigerian. "See you at SummerSlam, bitch", says Lesnar before leaving.
"Run, as you always do. You think you're free. You think you're free to leave. But Saturday is coming. Hell in a Cell is coming. Oba Femi is coming. So, no matter how free you think you are, I repeat: I won't be locked in here with you. You'll be locked in with me!"
, says Oba. Brock returns to the fence to give a double middle finger to the Nigerian, who responds in kind. "The Beast" and Heyman head back to backstage. Meanwhile, a furious Femi charges against the security agents, who can do nothing against this unstoppable force. Oba overturns the scale to pose in the center of the ring. With this image, we reach the end of the segment.
We see the sixth part of the story summarizing the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins (The Surprise).
The Bloodline arrive at the venue aboard two cars. Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu head inside the building.
The Vision as a whole make their entrance into the ring. Logan Paul takes the floor to remind the fans that they are in the presence of The Vision. The audience boos "The Maverick". He understands that they are angry with them, as last week they saw Bron Breakker spear Otis in half. Quite funny. Almost as funny as seeing Otis confessing his feelings for Maxxine Dupri. She takes the floor. "Our vision has never been clearer," she says just before the commercial break ends.
Tag Team Match
The Vision (Austin Theory and Bron Breakker) (with Maxxine Dupri and Logan Paul) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa)
Theory and Otis start the fight. However, Austin decides to retreat to his corner to tag in Bron. He tries to take down his opponent with a shoulder tackle, but he ends up lying on the mat after receiving the same move. Tozawa receives the tag, only to fall into Breakker's clutches. Austin receives the tag to continue punishing the Japanese, but he surprises him with a hurricanrana. Theory escapes to ringside, forcing Tozawa to chase him. Austin returns to the ring. Akira is about to follow him, but Maxxine grabs him by the legs. The distraction of the Japanese allows Bron to surprise him with a clothesline.
Theory goes back for Akira to continue hitting him. Austin brings Tozawa back into the ring to continue punishing him. Theory surprises Otis with a punch to make him fall from his corner. Austin tags in Breakker to continue damaging the Japanese. Theory and Bron take turns to punish Tozawa. Austin executes a backbreaker on the Japanese. 1..2..NO. Breakker receives the tag to unleash a flurry of kicks on his opponent in one of the corners. After that, he executes a gutbuster. 1..2..NO.
Bron launches himself with a corner spear, but the Japanese dodges it just in time, causing his opponent to impact against the corner. Tozawa escapes Theory to tag in Otis, who enters with everything. Otis crushes both opponents with a corner splash. After that, he executes a caterpillar on Bron. Meanwhile, Tozawa applies a suicide dive on Theory before bringing him back into the ring.
The Japanese begins to ascend one of the corners. Logan climbs onto the apron to distract him long enough for Austin to recover. Tozawa executes a diving senton, but his back lands on his opponent's knees. Meanwhile, Bron throws Otis against one of the posts to take him out of the game. Breakker returns to the ring to join Theory. Both execute a Double Vision on Akira. Austin covers the Japanese. 1..2..3.
Winners: The Vision
Breakker and Theory continue to attack Tozawa. Otis comes to the rescue. Otis drags Austin to one of the corners with the aim of crushing him with a Vader Bomb, at which point Dupri decides to intervene. Maxxine climbs onto the apron to convince her former partner not to do it. Dupri places her hands on Otis's face, who lets his guard down. This allows Theory and Breakker to surprise him to apply a double powerbomb. Bron and Austin apply their Double Vision on Otis. "I told you! Now she's with me! WITH ME!", shouts Theory to a knocked out Otis. Austin withdraws with his partners, ending the assault. Or maybe not... Encouraged by Maxxine, Theory takes a metal chair to hit Otis on the head. He convulses as several officials approach to assist him. "Mission accomplished!" exclaims Austin as he leaves with his partners.
Jackie Redmond interviews LA Knight backstage. "The Megastar" admits to being somewhat paranoid. But it's natural, as all his predictions have come true. He said The Bloodline would return, and here they are, acting as they used to. "Guys, I hope you feel great. I hope you feel good, because Saturday night everything will be ready to fight. Fighting is what we're going to do. And our goal is to bury The Bloodline six feet under, so they never come back again. And that means when you meet me, there will be a little BFT for you. And that's not an insult. It's just reality. So say it, L-A-Knight. YEAH," says "The Megastar" before leaving.
Raquel Rodriguez and Sol Ruca star in a brief promotional video before the Women's Intercontinental Championship match that will take place tonight.
Byron Saxton interviews Ethan Page in the stands area. Saxton reminds "All Ego" that the last time he faced Rey Mysterio (his opponent tonight), things didn't go well for him. Page "thanks" him for this reminder before pointing out that, indeed, Rey won that battle. However, he couldn't win the war, as the masked man ended up out of action for a month. Ethan addresses Mysterio directly to remind him that tonight they will have the second round of their rivalry. However, this time, he doesn't plan to put him out of action for a month. He plans to send him to a hospital bed at the twilight of his career. Byron thanks "All Ego" for his time to end this segment.
Chad Gable stars in a promotional video before his title match at WWE SummerSlam. "I chased success and championships until I had nothing left", says Gable. He regrets turning his back on everything in the hope that winning gold could fill that void. But it didn't. "Sometimes, losing everything reminds you of what really matters. So I made my way back the old-fashioned way: fixing the damage I caused to the people I hurt, and to myself. And that made me free," he says. Now he wants to get back on the path to winning a championship, and he knows why he needs it. Chad wants to represent his family, friends, and state at SummerSlam just as he did at the Olympics. With pride, with honor, and with integrity. "I'm going to win that Intercontinental Title, and I'll do it as the man I always should have been. Minnesota, I'm coming home," he says to end the video.
IYO SKY delivers a promo directed at Liv Morgan. "Liv, I've been inside your head since Night of Champions. You thought you could defeat me for the crown, but in the end, it was me who became the Queen of the Ring. I proved that night you were wrong. Alone, you're not as strong as you think. And most importantly, you are not the greatest champion of all time. I have been in the presence of great champions, great masters, and leaders in the women's locker room. And you pale in comparison to all of them. You are arrogant, and that will be the reason for your downfall. You talk a lot, and I think it's because you're afraid of losing. So, Liv, I'm ready to show you once again that you're wrong. I'm excited to face you for that title at SummerSlam because I defeated you once, and I'll do it again to become the new World Champion!", exclaims the Japanese to end her promo.
Je'Von Evans vs. Rusev
Rusev is the first to strike. The Bulgarian corners Je'Von in one of the corners to unleash a flurry of corner spears. Rusev continues to hit his opponent, who responds with several kicks. Evans surprises Rusev with a hurricanrana before applying a dropkick. Rusev escapes to ringside. Je'Von tries to launch himself with a tope, but his opponent stops him with a punch.
Rusev returns to the ring to continue attacking his opponent. The Bulgarian executes a Fallaway Slam. As a result, Evans ends up at ringside. Rusev goes after his opponent to carry him on his shoulder. Evans slides to escape the Bulgarian, whom he pushes against one of the posts. After that, he kicks him, causing the European to fall over the audience barrier. Je'Von tries to launch himself with a tope, but Rusev stops him in mid-air to respond with a Fallaway Slam. Rusev celebrates, which prevents him from realizing that his opponent has recovered. Evans jumps on the Bulgarian to regain control.
The action returns to the ring, where Rusev regains control. The Bulgarian punishes Je'Von with the help of the ropes. Evans dodges the impact of a diving headbutt to start a counterattack. However, his opponent quickly stops him to throw him violently against one of the corners. "He's a BOY! He's a BOY! I'm a MAN!", exclaims Rusev to the camera before catching his opponent in a headlock.
Rusev kicks Evans with disdain. Je'Von tries to counterattack, but his opponent knocks him out with a tremendous punch. Evans attacks again to unleash a flurry of punches on the Bulgarian, whom he finishes with a springboard enzuigiri. Rusev rolls to ringside to catch his breath. Something worries the referee, who heads to his position to check on his condition. Rusev tries to return, at which point Je'Von launches himself with a tope.
The action returns to the ring, where Rusev tries to catch his opponent in the Accolade. Evans manages to escape from the Bulgarian's clutches to respond with a running knee strike. Je'Von seeks height to apply an OG Cutter, but Rusev blocks it in full execution. Rusev immediately catches Evans in the Accolade. Je'Von gathers strength to reach the ropes, thus forcing his release. Evans dodges a Machka Kick with great agility to respond with a cutter. After that, he runs to the corner to execute a definitive OG Cutter. 1..2..3.

We see the seventh part of the story summarizing the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins (Ghosts of the Past).
Byron Saxton interviews The Vision as a whole in the stands area. Saxton congratulates them on their victory before informing them that, due to their actions, Otis is officially out of action indefinitely. Austin Theory pretends to be sorry. Logan Paul, on the other hand, believes that his partner should face the consequences of his actions. "The Maverick" addresses Otis directly to ask for forgiveness, but he can't help but laugh. Maxxine Dupri is about to speak, but the fans boo her. Dupri understands this reaction perfectly, as the audience identifies with Otis (for being as ugly and stupid as he is). Meanwhile, she enjoys her "bad boy," the hottest man in all of WWE. Maxxine addresses Otis directly, hoping he has enough money to pay for a Netflix subscription because that way he won't miss any shows. In this way, he will understand that joining The Vision has been the best decision Maxxine has ever made in her life. "You'll never have a woman like me," she says. Logan sends a final message to Otis, making it clear that no one cares about him. "Goodbye. See you in the hospital," he says.
Joe Hendry and Danhausen perform a concert to sing a duet song dedicated to The Judgment Day. "Fear not. The curse that weighs on Judgment Day will never end," sings Danhausen before moving on to the chorus.
"I believe that you are cursed!"
Hendry and Danhausen repeatedly sing the chorus as three Minihausens and the Los Angeles Clippers Spirit dance team join the performance. Boxer Ryan Garcia jumps over the crowd barricade to join the dancers. Garcia leaves the line, enters the ring, grabs one of Hendry's guitars, and smashes it across his back! The Minihausens rush over to check on the Scotsman, but at that moment Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh storm the scene and launch an attack on Danhausen. The Minihausens try to help their leader, but they are no match for McDonagh. Dom high-fives Garcia before climbing to the top turnbuckle. Mysterio connects with a frog splash on Danhausen. The boxer poses with the members of The Judgment Day to bring the segment to a close.
Penta stars in a new promotional video to address his SummerSlam opponent. Penta says he's glad Chad Gable has found his way and returned to being his true self. However, this story will not end with Gable taking the Intercontinental Championship from him. Penta forgives Chad for everything he did over the last two years, but that doesn't mean the past has been erased. "I know you conquered Mexico after that great match (referring to their mask vs. mask bout at AAA Noche de los Grandes), and I know you gained a lot of fans, but that's not enough to beat Penta—let alone take my championship!" says the masked star. "It only reminded me why I have to fight even harder at SummerSlam. Because I won't be fighting for revenge. I'll be fighting for my legacy, for my title, and for everyone who believes in me. Chad Gable, I'll see you at SummerSlam. And do you know why? Because I am Penta, Cero Miedo!" he exclaims to end his promo.
Big Cass appears in another promotional video. This time, we finally get to see the wrestler's face. "When you hit rock bottom, the only thing left to do is climb back up and prove everyone wrong," he says. The date August 3 appears on the screen once again to bring the video to an end.
Rey Mysterio vs. Ethan Page
Ethan takes Rey down to the mat as soon as the match begins. The two men jockey for position. Page knocks the masked wrestler down with a shoulder tackle. Mysterio quickly responds by catching "All Ego" off guard with a hurricanrana. Page stops his opponent before he can hit a 619. He then sets up for a powerbomb, but Mysterio counters by collapsing onto his chest. 1...2...NO.
Ethan sends Rey crashing into one of the turnbuckles before trapping him in a Bow and Arrow. Page hoists his opponent onto his shoulders. Mysterio attempts a hurricanrana, causing both men to tumble over the top rope, with "All Ego" still carrying the masked wrestler on his shoulders. Ethan catches Rey and drives him into the ring apron with a powerbomb. Page continues to punish his opponent both outside and inside the ring.
"All Ego" delivers a backbreaker to Mysterio. Page continues targeting Rey's back and even tries to rip off his mask in the corner. Mysterio catches Ethan with an elbow to send him crashing down before following up with a moonsault. Rey kicks Page and goes for a 619, but his opponent cuts him off with a big boot. Mysterio then uses his agility to send his opponent crashing into one of the ring posts.
Rey unloads with a flurry of right hands on Ethan in the corner. Mysterio looks to keep the momentum going, but Page cuts him off with a powerslam. 1...2...NO. Ethan tries to hit the move again, but this time the masked wrestler counters with a DDT. Both men remain laid out on the canvas. "This is awesome!" the fans chant.
The action spills to the top turnbuckle. Rey sends his opponent crashing to ringside before diving onto him with a hurricanrana. As a result, "All Ego" is hurled into the announce table. Rey rolls Page back into the ring. In the process, his opponent grabs the ring skirt and drags it into the ring with him. Mysterio connects with a 619, but Ethan blocks it with the ring skirt. "All Ego" then sends the masked wrestler crashing into one of the ring posts before putting him away with the Ego's Edge. 1...2...3.

Liv Morgan delivers a video promo in response to IYO SKY. Morgan believes the Japanese star still doesn't understand who she'll be facing at SummerSlam. She's the woman everyone underestimates, the one who will do whatever it takes to climb to the top and stay there. "Maybe some people think I'm an arrogant champion, but when you have a résumé like mine, you don't care what anyone else thinks," she says. Liv acknowledges that IYO is one of the best wrestlers in the world, but insists she's wrong about her. "You're not in my head. I'm not afraid of losing to you at SummerSlam. And I'm much stronger than you think. So thank you, IYO, for giving me the opportunity at SummerSlam to remind you—and everyone else—exactly who I am: the greatest Women's World Champion of all time."
Adam Pearce approaches an injured Danhausen backstage. A doctor is tending to one of the Minihausens. The Raw General Manager advises Danhausen to give The Judgment Day their money back. "Never!" Danhausen replies. "Wait, hang the money on a pole," he adds. Pearce has no problem agreeing to it, hoping this will finally bring the story to an end. "We'll hang the human money from a pole, because it's official for SummerSlam." "Now I need a drink," Pearce says before walking away.
The Usos make their entrance. Jimmy and Jey yeet with the fans as they head to the ring. When their entrance theme ends, the crowd demands an encore. Jey happily obliges. After another interaction with the audience, Jimmy grabs a microphone. "Los Angeles, The Bloodline is in your city!" he shouts while raising his index finger into the air. Jey then turns his attention to their SummerSlam opponents. "We've got a little message for anyone standing in front of The Bloodline. We've got a little message for our opponents at SummerSlam. We've got LA Knight. We've got Royce Keys. And we've got our little big brother, Solo Sikoa. This is a message for you three idiots. This your warning shot. BANG." However, that "BANG" comes from somewhere else.
It's Solo Sikoa, who interrupts his brothers from the stands. Solo makes it clear that this rivalry began when Jimmy and Jey decided to return to The Bloodline. "You keep saying The Bloodline is here, but I don't see it. Because the real Bloodline had Solo Sikoa. So whatever this crap is, you don't stand a chance at SummerSlam," he says. Jimmy tells Solo to listen to Roman Reigns and come back to the family. Otherwise...
"What? What's going to happen? Are you going to give me a warning shot? Are you going to yeet for half an hour?" Sikoa asks mockingly. Solo has no interest in returning to the family. Why would he? He likes exactly where he is right now. Everyone in the arena—and everyone in Los Angeles—loves where he is right now. "So I've got a warning shot for both of you. You can tell Roman he can kiss my ass," he says. Solo then boasts about having two great partners for SummerSlam, including LA Knight, who soon appears on the entrance ramp.
"The Megastar" makes it clear that his goal aligns with Solo's: to destroy The Bloodline. LA Knight wants revenge on the Samoans and promises it all ends at SummerSlam. He starts heading backstage, but suddenly stops. "The Megastar" has changed his mind and says there's no need to wait five more days. They can settle this right now. LA Knight and Sikoa storm the ring, sparking a brawl with The Usos.
Jacob Fatu is here!
"The Samoan Werewolf" goes after both LA Knight and Sikoa at the same time. The Usos join Jacob to gain the upper hand. Suddenly, Royce Keys rushes to the ring! Royce takes out Jimmy and Jey before squaring off with Fatu, trading punches with him. Keys drops Fatu with a clothesline. Jacob answers with the Tongan Death Grip, but Solo quickly comes to his partner's aid. Sikoa nails Jacob with a Samoan Spike, allowing Keys to follow up with a spinebuster. LA Knight then finishes him off with a Blunt Force Trauma. The Usos pull Fatu to safety as both teams stare each other down to end the segment.
We see a promotional video highlighting the unforgiving Hell in a Cell.
Women's Intercontinental Championship Match
Sol Ruca (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Rodriguez tries to catch Sol off guard with a big boot, but the champion narrowly avoids it with incredible agility. Ruca answers with a faceplant. Raquel quickly recovers and drives her opponent into the corner, unloading with a series of elbows. Sol escapes and takes Rodriguez off her feet before connecting with a standing moonsault. 1...2...NO.
Rodriguez regains control with a clothesline. Ruca counters a powerbomb into a hurricanrana, sending the Texan to the outside. She immediately follows up by diving off the top turnbuckle with a moonsault. The champion lands directly on her opponent's face, leaving Rodriguez with a bloody nose. Sol rolls her back into the ring and covers. 1...2...NO. Raquel surprises the champion with an inverted suplex. 1...2...NO.
Rodriguez crushes Sol in the corner before planting her with a powerslam. 1...2...NO. "¡Pendeja!" she shouts as she strikes the champion. The Texan keeps up the assault, locking Ruca in a submission hold. Meanwhile, referee Jessika Carr wipes the blood from the challenger's face. Sol rallies with a counterattack and lands a knee strike. 1...2...NO.
Rodriguez catches Sol as she attempts a springboard crossbody. Raquel goes for a Fallaway Slam, but the champion escapes by grabbing the ropes. Ruca catches the Texan with a Rope Guillotine before hitting a springboard DDT. 1...2...NO. At that moment, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan rush to ringside!
Perez tries to enter the ring, but Sol kicks her away. Roxanne crashes to the mat. Carr turns her attention to "The Prodigy" and moves to escort her out of the ring. Liv takes advantage by grabbing Ruca's legs, distracting her just long enough for Rodriguez to blast her with a big boot. Carr turns back and begins the count. 1...2...NO. Suddenly...
IYO SKY rushes to the ring!
Morgan charges straight at IYO, looking to catch her off guard with the opening strike. Liv hurls the Japanese star into the crowd barricade, only for her SummerSlam opponent to fire back by sending her crashing into one of the ring posts. Furious, Raquel tries to grab SKY, allowing Ruca to capitalize by catching the Texan with a facebreaker. Liv climbs onto the apron, only to be kicked away by IYO, who immediately follows up with a running meteora that drives her rival into the ring post. Both women spill to ringside. Carr moves toward the ropes to check on them. Meanwhile, Ruca sets up for the Sol Snatcher, but Roxanne stops her by knocking her onto the turnbuckle. Raquel wastes no time, hoisting up the champion and planting her with a Texana Bomb. 1...2...3.
Winner and NEW Women's Intercontinental Champion: Raquel Rodriguez
The women of The Judgment Day celebrate the victory on the entrance ramp to close out the segment.
We see the eighth chapter of the story recapping the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins (The Biggest Stage of Them All).
Roman Reigns makes his entrance. The World Heavyweight Champion raises the title high as fireworks erupt behind him. "The OTC" heads to the ring, where he poses once again with the championship. "Roman! Roman Reigns!" the fans chant. "OTC! OTC!" they continue. "Los Angeles...!" the Samoan begins before being interrupted.
BURN IT DOWN!
Seth Rollins heads to the ring while greeting the fans in the front row. "The Visionary" steps inside the squared circle and quickly grabs a microphone. "Los Angeles... ACKNOWLEDGE ME!" Rollins shouts while raising his index finger into the air. Roman calls Seth out for ruining the moment. "Guilty, guilty," Rollins admits. He embraces the role of the villain because that's how things always work when he's facing Reigns. And he doesn't mind, because that's how he gets what he deserves. Seth acknowledges that Roman has become everything the company ever wanted him to be. "You're the biggest star in this business. You're a money-making machine. You're a walking main event. You're Roman Reigns, The Tribal Chief, The Head of the Table. You're all of that, and in many ways you're above me, brother. But there's one thing—one thing you'll never, ever be better than me at: professional wrestling."
Seth insists that he owns Roman, especially Roman's mind, because he's living there permanently. Rollins wonders what Reigns will do to avoid defeat at SummerSlam. Will he get himself disqualified? Will he rely on The Bloodline to save him? Because he has absolutely no chance of retaining the title in a fair fight.
Roman makes it clear that he is the one and only true champion. Everyone—including his own family—expects him to beat Seth clean, and that's exactly what he plans to do. Rollins says Reigns knows he needs that redemption, which reminds him of WrestleMania 41. Roman's family was there that night too, and they ended up in tears after "The OTC" suffered defeat. "Let me tell you something. I hope your family is there on Sunday, because nothing would make me happier than seeing them cry again when they realize their daddy is a fraud, their daddy is a loser, and their daddy will always be Seth Rollins' bitch."
Enraged, Roman blasts Seth with a right hand. Reigns continues pummeling "The Visionary" before connecting with a Superman Punch. Roman follows up with a spear. "OTC! OTC!" the crowd chants. Rollins pulls himself up using the ropes while Reigns goes to retrieve a steel chair. Roman stares at the weapon for a moment before stepping back into the ring. The Samoan prepares to strike his enemy from behind, but Rollins spins around just in time and plants him with a Stomp. Rollins stands over the fallen champion as the crowd sings along to his entrance theme. With that, this week's show comes to an end.
