Lucha Libre AAA and FOX bring us tonight the second day of Verano de Escándalo, which will take place at the Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The event features a lineup full of great matches, including several title defenses. For this second night, Rey Fenix will put the AAA Cruiserweight World Championship on the line against Mini Vikingo.

In addition, Mecha Wolf, La Parka, and Lince Dorado will compete in a three-way match to determine the next AAA Latin American Champion. As always, we invite you to leave your comments on what happens in the show.

The show begins with a video recap of the first night of Verano de Escándalo. After the event, Dominik Mysterio addressed the camera as he walked backstage. "What can I tell you? What did you expect from Dirty Dom? What did you expect from the Dirtiest of the Dirty, the King of the Wrestlers? To see another idiot trying to pass as a Mexican? No. The real King of the Wrestlers is me. Big American, remember this, idiot. I call the shots here," he said.

We see the arrival of some of the protagonists of tonight's event: Rey Fenix, Mini Vikingo, El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., and Galeno.

Mecha Wolf vs. Lince Dorado vs. La Parka

The three men observe each other carefully. Mecha Wolf and Lince team up against La Parka. However, La Parka manages to recover and expel his two opponents from the ring. Lince returns to launch himself at La Parka, but he is met with an Electric Chair. La Parka follows up with a backbreaker before kicking him out of the ring with a dropkick. La Parka dives onto his rivals with a suicide dive. Dorado and Mecha Wolf stop him in mid-air to throw him against one of the posts.

Mecha Wolf and Dorado bring La Parka back into the ring. Mecha Wolf caresses his ally's head before climbing to the apron. At that moment, Lince makes him fall, ending this alliance. Dorado returns to the ring to continue the fight with La Parka. Lince jumps with a tope con giro on Mecha Wolf before returning to the ring to perform a hurricanrana on La Parka. 1..2..NO.

Mecha Wolf returns to catch Lince from behind. Dorado defends himself, but is soon knocked down with a body drop. Lince and La Parka end up ringside. Mecha Wolf executes a suicide dive on each of them. After that, he brings Dorado back into the ring, where he finishes him off with a Final Flash DDT. 1..2..NO. Lince and Mecha Wolf exchange attacks in the center of the ring. Both are knocked down with a clothesline simultaneously.

La Parka returns to surprise his two opponents with a double cutter. Dorado and Mecha Wolf end up ringside, where they receive the impact of a moonsault. "This is wrestling!" chant the fans. La Parka brings Lince back into the ring, where he prepares to finish him off with La Deshuesadora. However, Dorado blocks it to respond with a backstabber. 1..2..NO. Mecha Wolf interrupts the count.

The action moves to the top of one of the corners. Mecha Wolf performs a superplex on Lince. 1..2..NO. La Parka interrupts the count. La Parka and Mecha Wolf start exchanging attacks in the center of the ring. La Parka executes a Blue Thunder Bomb on Mecha Wolf. 1..2..NO. The action continues. La Parka carries his two rivals on his shoulders. Lince escapes to perform a cutter on La Parka, who in turn applies a samoan drop on Mecha Wolf. Dorado and Mecha Wolf knock each other down with a big boot simultaneously. The three men are left lying on the canvas.

Lince and Mecha Wolf exchange attacks on the apron. Dorado knocks down Mecha Wolf with a hurricanrana. After that, he kicks La Parka and then executes a Shooting Star Press. 1..2..NO. Lince goes for height again, but this time he is met by Mecha Wolf, who spits his Monster Mist directly in his face. La Parka kicks Mecha Wolf to make him fall from the apron. Then, he performs a spanish fly on Lince. 1..2..NO. Mecha Wolf interrupts the count with a diving headbutt. La Parka moves aside so that Dorado receives the impact.

La Parka surprises Mecha Wolf with a suplex. Then, he performs a dropkick on Lince, who ends up ringside. La Parka applies an Exploder Suplex to Mecha Wolf before executing a suicide dive on Dorado. La Parka returns to the ring to perform a frog splash on Mecha Wolf. La Parka finishes him off with La Deshuesadora. 1..2..3.

A new video shared on X by an anonymous source shows the members of Psycho Circus walking through the parking lot of the venue in a very lively manner.

We see a backstage video with Los Perros del Mal after last week's main event. "Since we arrived, we have done what we said we were going to do. We became the nightmare of that miserable dressing room full of stupid idiots. You know what? This is not over yet. We keep setting the rules, and next week, the legacy will continue to grow. This doesn't end here. Because remember: God forgives. The Dogs don't," says Daga.

The Wagner Brothers (Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno) vs. Drago and Dinámico

Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Dinámico start the fight. Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. blocks a shoulder tackle from his opponent to respond with a slap. Dinámico and Drago join forces to take down Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., but he stands firm. Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. performs a powerslam on Drago before kicking Dinámico out of the ring with a clothesline. Galeno gets off the ring to hit Dinámico with a shoulder tackle.

The Wagner Brothers take turns attacking Drago, who receives a dropkick in the corner from Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. 1..2..NO. Dinamico interrupts the count. Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. kicks Dinámico out of the ring with a big boot before tagging in Galeno. He carries his brother on his shoulders. Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. drops onto Drago with a tremendous splash. Galeno finishes off Drago with an Acorazado. 1..2..3.

Rey Mysterio holds a press conference. The General Manager is asked about his son's alliance with El Ojo. Mysterio considers it worrying in more than one sense. "I guess now we know what Dorian meant when he said this would affect me personally," he says. Rey admits he didn't see it coming, but it makes perfect sense, as Dominik and Dorian are two "resentful sons" who blame their parents for everything bad in their lives. Despite everything, Rey has no intention of backing down. He has been in the ring with giants like Omos, and he is not afraid of them. The AAA General Manager apologizes to the journalists, but the press conference must end now, as it is time for the main event of the night.

Mini Vikingo and Fenix shake hands as a sign of respect before starting the match. Champion and challenger test their strength, as well as their agility. Rey surprises Mini Vikingo with a superkick. 1..2..NO. Now it's Mini Vikingo who surprises the masked man with a tornillo. Mini Vikingo applies a Code Red on Rey. 1..2..NO. Mini Vikingo surprises Fenix with a hurricanrana. The champion ends up ringside. Mini Vikingo tries to dive onto Rey, but he stops him with a kick.

Fenix looks for height on one of the corners to jump with a diving crossbody. 1..2..NO. Mini Vikingo blocks Rey's next attack to execute a Crucifix Bomb. 1..2..NO. Fenix performs a Tightrope P.K. on Mini Vikingo before finishing him off with a Death Valley Driver. 1..2..NO. Rey kicks Mini Vikingo, who is on his knees on the canvas. The masked man gains momentum on the ropes for his next attack, but Mini Vikingo surprises him with a standing spanish fly! 1..2..NO. "This is wrestling!" chant the fans.

Rey and Mini Vikingo exchange attacks in the center of the ring. Fenix knocks out his opponent with a tremendous elbow. Mini Vikingo ends up in one of the corners. The challenger dodges a running knee strike to respond with a poisonrana. 1..2..NO. Mini Vikingo looks for height to perform a frog splash. 1..2..NO. A furious Mini Vikingo kicks his rival in one of the corners, forcing the referee to intervene. Mini Vikingo prepares for his next move, but Rey surprises him with a rolling cutter. 1..2..NO.

The action moves to the top of one of the corners. Mini Vikingo performs a spanish fly. 1..2..NO. Mini Vikingo goes for height again to jump with a Phoenix Splash. Rey dodges it to respond with a knee strike in one of the corners. Fenix kicks Mini Vikingo before preparing him for the Mexican Muscle Buster, but his rival reverses it into a roll-up. 1..2..NO. Mini Vikingo laments, a moment that the champion takes advantage of to knock him out with a direct running kick to the back of the head. 1..2..NO. Rey lifts Mini Vikingo to finish him off -this time- with the Mexican Muscle Buster. 1..2..3.

Winner and STILL AAA Cruiserweight World Champion: Rey Fenix

Rey helps Mini Vikingo to his feet and extends his hand. Mini Vikingo shakes it before leaving the ring. Fenix celebrates his victory while Mini Vikingo heads backstage. Once there, Dorian Roldán approaches him to whisper something in his ear. Mini Vikingo seems surprised. Roldán continues on his way, as does the young talent. And so we reach the end of Night 2 of Verano de Escándalo.
