Tubi has aired episode 72 of WWE Evolve early this morning, the new show starring the developing talent of the company. The matches of the show were recorded a few weeks ago at the WWE Performance Center. The episode featured three matches and several segments, highlighting Harlem Lewis' first title defense in a fatal four-way match in the main event of the night.

- The Mog Squad delivered a promo in the ring to mock the rest of the roster. Max Abrams promised that the night would end with him holding the WWE Evolve Championship, forcing everyone to accept that they are the "supreme moggers." CJ Valor agreed with his partner. The faction only needed the championship to be perfect. Abrams addressed the show's commentators (Blake Howard and Robert Stone) to remind them that they should properly explain to the fans what "mog" meant. In the end, both of them had a job thanks to them. Santi Rivera, on the other hand, assured his partners that everyone would end up liking them when Abrams conquered the championship. Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash interrupted the promo to kick off the first fight of the night.
- Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash defeated The Mog Squad (Jacari Ball and Santi Rivera) (with Max Abrams and CJ Valor) in a tag team match. Zanov and Ash applied a Dead End on Rivera for the victory. Timothy Thatcher appeared after the match to inform Abrams that his partners were banned from ringside in the main event of the night.
- Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno were talking with Marcus Mathers backstage when It's Gal appeared on the scene to boast about his victory over Kale Dixon last week, which he described as the WWE ID 1.0 team's greatest triumph in EVOLVE. Cappucino Jones approached them, at which point Noam and Romeo left (the Scotsman claimed he was not mentally prepared to keep listening to a fool like It's Gal). "Hey, Gal, why don't you do us all a favor and shut up for five seconds? Maybe then people will start to like you," said Cappucino. Mathers reminded him that, before his big victory over Dixon, he lost twice in a row to Cutler James. It's Gal pointed out that there was a big difference. James is part of DarkState, and that's scary. It's Gal suggested to Mathers to talk to Timothy Thatcher if he wanted to face Cutler one-on-one in the ring. He then challenged Cappucino to a match next week. A proposal that Jones did not hesitate to accept. It's Gal left the scene. Meanwhile, Mathers acknowledged to Cappuncino that he needed that match against Cutler, as it would prove to everyone that he deserves to be in EVOLVE.
- Skylar Raye defeated Anya Rune after applying a StarStruck. Gianna Capri attacked Rune after the match.
- Elijah Holyfield delivered a video promo to promise Brooks Jensen that he would eventually find him. And when he does, he will knock him out with a punch.
- Timothy Thatcher made several announcements, including a singles match between Sloane Jacobs and Wren Sinclair next week. Chazz "Starboy" Hall interrupted the EVOLVE Foreman to ask for a match against Cappucino Jones. Hall knew that Jones already had a match scheduled against It's Gal, so he didn't mind being part of it as a triple threat. An idea that Thatcher liked, so he accepted the proposal.
- Harlem Lewis defeated Aaron Rourke, Tristan Angels, and Max Abrams in a fatal four-way match to retain the WWE EVOLVE Championship in the main event of the night. Lewis applied the Boom Slang on Abrams for the victory.
