TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! Results August 6, 2026

- Matt Hardy (with Jeff Hardy) defeated Ryan Nemeth (with Nic Nemeth) after hitting a Twist of Fate.

- Gia Miller interviewed Xia Brookside backstage. Miller reminded her that, after her attack on Wendy Choo and Elayna Black, the target on her back had grown. Brookside assured that she wouldn't allow Choo to take the Knockouts World Championship to NXT. It had happened before, and she wouldn't let it happen again. "Wendy Choo is going to learn the hard way that Xia Brookside is on another level", said Xia. However, as she was about to refer to Black, she appeared on the scene to suggest that she should say it to her face. "I was going to say, 'as for Elayna Black, I hope she sees what will happen to Wendy tonight so she thinks twice before chasing my title", said Brookside. Elayna pointed out that she had known Wendy for a long time, and she had no doubt that she would snatch the championship from her that same night. That's why she wished her luck. "Gia, we're done," said the champion before leaving.

- Gia Miller interviewed Jason Hotch backstage after last week's main event. Jason was with his wife and daughter. Hotch pointed out that winning the TNA International Championship meant everything to him. For years he had been considered just a partner, but he finally proved he had what it takes to be a champion. Jason wanted to thank especially his wife and daughter, who supported him throughout this journey, and whom he promised he would be a champion. A promise he happily fulfilled. BDE and Rich Swann appeared on the scene to personally congratulate Hotch on his victory. This led to the end of this segment.

- Heather By Elegance (with Personal Concierge, Mr. Elegance, and M By Elegance) defeated Mara Sadé to advance to the semifinals of the Knockouts Television Championship tournament. Heather applied a Missile Dropkick for the victory.

- Moose delivered a backstage promo to address Frankie Kazarian directly. Moose pointed out that nicknames must be earned. He earned the nickname "Wrestling God", as well as the respect of his peers backstage. Kazarian, on the other hand, had decided to self-proclaim himself as the "King of TNA". A nickname that, obviously, he hadn't earned. However, he would give him the chance to earn it at Lockdown. Moose challenged Frankie to a one-on-one match at the PPV. A unique match in the company where he promised him that he would find out firsthand why he is a 5-star athlete and especially "The Face of the Franchise".

- Mustafa Ali approached Jason Hotch's wife and daughter backstage. "Relax. After all, we are family", said Ali as he sat next to the International Champion's wife. Mustafa reminded her that her husband's contract was about to expire when he came to the rescue to solve the problem. Thanks to that, Jason could continue buying the toys that his daughter loves so much. However, things changed last week, which would force him to take action. "I have to do what I have to do", he said. However, he didn't want Jason's wife to worry about anything. "No matter what happens to Jason. I will take care of my little girl", he said as he approached her. After that, he put his hand on Hotch's wife's leg. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you too", he said before leaving.

- KC Navarro defeated Brian Myers by disqualification due to an intervention by Eddie Edwards. Fabian Aichner came to Navarro's rescue to expel the heels from the ring. A furious Santino Marella appeared on the entrance ramp to show his annoyance at a situation that repeats week after week. That said, he scheduled a tag team match at that moment.

- The System (Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards) (with Alisha Edwards) defeated Fabian Aichner and KC Navarro in a tag team match. Eddie applied a Package Piledriver on Navarro for the victory. Previously, Eddie had hit him with a kendo stick delivered by his wife during a distraction from the referee. Ricky Sosa stormed into the ring with a metal chair to drive off The System, thus preventing a post-match assault on Navarro and Aichner.

TNA provided a medical update on several of its talents:

  • Matthew Rehwoldt claims that Nic Nemeth is in "pristine condition".
  • Mara Sadé is in an "uncertain" health state after her match tonight.
  • The whereabouts of Rosemary remain unknown.

- The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) met with The Hardys backstage. Matt and Jeff congratulated them on surviving the Lake of Reincarnation. And that made them, in a way, brothers. The Hardys extended their fists to Vincent and Dutch, who did the same in a gesture of mutual respect.

- A furious Jason Hotch tried to hit Mustafa Ali backstage, but he was soon stopped by his Order 4 teammates. Jason confronted Mustafa for touching his wife. John Skyler pointed out that it must be some misunderstanding. "It's not a misunderstanding. Are you stupid?" Hotch asked his teammate. The tension ended with a discussion in which Tasha Steelz and Mila Moore also intervened. Several security members appeared on the scene to restore order, at which point Ali asked Hotch if he was looking for a fight. Because, if so, he would be waiting for him at Lockdown. Jason didn't hesitate to accept the challenge. Before ending the segment, Hotch confessed to Skyler that he couldn't bear this situation anymore. He left Order 4 and hoped that he would accompany him. "Man, I need this job," John replied. Hotch took off his Order 4 shirt and threw it to the ground. "Fine," he said before leaving.

- The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) made their way to the ring to deliver a promo. "Well, we died," said Vincent. Dutch pointed out that the Lake of Reincarnation had shown them the way to go. Vincent stated that their goal had always been for the true Hardys to emerge. Now, their work was done. Dutch noted that the forgotten always outnumber the famous. Vincent addressed all the fans watching them at that moment to assure them that it didn't matter if the world had forgotten their names, as it was time to hear theirs. Because The Righteous' mission is not to seek opponents, but dying flowers they can help bloom and become something better. "¡Because we are The Righteous!" exclaimed Dutch. "Because we are many," added Vincent to conclude the promo.

- Jada Stone was talking with Harley Hudson when they were interrupted by Santino Marella. He asked Stone to leave him alone with Harley. She expressed her concern about Daria Rae's "threat" not to renew her contract. Santino disagreed with the Director of Operations, but he couldn't do anything about it. Santino pointed out that Rae wanted winning results. Suddenly, a furious Alisha Edwards burst onto the scene to demand that Marella do something about Ricky Sosa. Santino asked her to wait, as he was having a conversation with Hudson. Annoyed, Alisha pointed out that she didn't care at all. In fact, she was tired of people like Sosa, Jasa Stone, and Hudson herself. Stone soon appeared to confront Edwards. Santino stepped in between them to stop the argument. Harley asked Marella if defeating a former Knockouts Tag Team Champion could be considered a winning result for a possible renewal. Santino replied that it could. Alisha mocked Hudson for thinking she had a chance against her. Harley pointed out that she had nothing to lose. She wasn't afraid to face her. Edwards accepted the challenge. "Fine. See you in the ring, girl," she said before leaving.

- Allie continued to search for Rosemary backstage. However, all she found were some small tarot cards placed on the floor. Allie looked at them closely with a look of evident concern.

- The Home Town Man defeated A.J. Francis. Elijah distracted Francis from the entrance ramp, allowing Home Town Man to surprise him with a roll-up.

- Tom Hannifan interviewed Cedric Alexander backstage. Alexander stated that winning the X-Division Championship had helped him show the world how good he is. Cedric dubbed himself the "standard" of TNA, regretting that no one had given him the opportunity to prove it before. Alexander proclaimed himself the "Prime Minister" of the X-Division, at which point Leon Slater interrupted the interview. Slater reminded Cedric that he defeated him last week. However, he still didn't have his desired title rematch. Alexander pointed out that everything had been given to Leon, unlike him, who had to earn it. "Everything you've achieved in this business has been handed to you", he said. Leon asked Cedric if his attitude was due to envy of him. Alexander made it clear that it wasn't before reiterating that he wouldn't grant him a rematch. "As long as I have this championship, you will NEVER touch it again. In fact, I will do everything in my power to make sure this fairy tale ends for you and erase everything you've done in this business", said Cedric before leaving.

- Daria Rae approached Frankie Kazarian to inform him of the challenge issued by Moose. Kazarian accepted, but the match would take place on his own terms. Frankie recalled that at Lockdown all matches take place inside a cage from which you can't escape. That's why he requested that his match against Moose have the possibility of leaving the structure to win. In other words, an "Escape the Cage Match". Daria accepted the proposal and left the place. Frankie then addressed the camera to send a direct message to Moose, whom he described as TNA's "pet". Meanwhile, he is at the top of the company as its king. A lesson he will learn at Lockdown.

- Xia Brookside defeated Wendy Choo to retain the Knockouts World Championship. Brookside applied the Darkside for the victory. After the match, Elayna Black entered the ring to confront the champion. Black made the gesture of pointing at a wristwatch to suggest that Xia's reign is numbered.

- Jeff Hardy and Nic Nemeth held the contract signing for their title match in a private room. Jeff was simply drawing on a canvas while Nemeth spoke. Nic congratulated him on having a hobby outside of professional wrestling and on the affection shown by the fans. But he shouldn't forget that he is the TNA World Champion and the best wrestler on the planet. Nic pointed out that there was a reason why he was the top champion and not Jeff. And that reason is that he deserved it more than him. Meanwhile, Hardy continued drawing. Hardy's indifference only infuriated Nemeth further. He reminded him that he had already defeated champions. In fact, he had witnessed some of those moments. Nic confessed that thinking about who could dethrone him is something that keeps him up at night, which led him to remember that he had never beaten Jeff in his career. "I am a champion. And I know you can be one too. But I'm not here for that", he said before throwing the contract on the room's table. Nic signed the document before handing it to Jeff. He stopped painting to sign his name on the contract. After that, he returned to his canvas without saying a word. Nic suggested that he should enjoy this moment because it would be the last time he had a shot at the world championship. "I will never lose this title. And when I defeat you, I can tell myself that I am the best wrestler in the world", he said before leaving.
