The latest episode of WWE Raw featured the return of two big names in the women's division of the company: Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch, who positioned themselves as future candidates for the Women's World Championship currently held by Liv Morgan. A segment that included an interesting face-off between the champion and "The Man" that was cut by Netflix.
At one point in the segment, Liv left the ring with her teammates, leaving Becky behind. Becky then decided to mock Morgan with a couple of rather hurtful comments. "Look, you're not the best champion in your group. Hell, you're not even the best champion who has slept with Dominik Mysterio", Becky said before "The First" burst onto the scene to attack the women of The Judgment Day.
Later, some fans noticed that Netflix had cut the segment, completely removing the comment about Dominik Mysterio, most likely due to its sexual connotations. The champion, on the other hand, took the news with humor. "I've heard that Netflix does believe I'm the best female world champion of all time... Especially the best one who has slept with Dominik Mysterio," Morgan wrote on X.
It is worth noting that WWE has not cut the segment in its social media posts, as can be seen in the YouTube video linked in this same news article. On the other hand, this move by Netflix is not new. It recently censored a Brock Lesnar t-shirt with the slogan "Talk shit. Get Hit," as well as the blood coming from Bron Breakker's head in his match against Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions.
