WWE announced on the episode of Raw on August 10, held at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, that Royce Keys will be out of action for an indefinite period. Keys suffered a bruised larynx and a cervical strain after the attack he received last week.

In the Raw episode on August 3, Jacob Fatu brutally attacked Keys after their Street Fight. Fatu did not release the Tongan Death Grip even though Keys lost consciousness and then struck him with a running hip attack while a chair was placed around his neck. At the moment, there are no further details on the matter.

Keys was left bleeding and had to be taken out of the venue on a stretcher. At the moment, there is no estimated date for his return.

Previously known as Powerhouse Hobbs, Keys was one of the big revelations of AEW. Since his arrival in WWE, he has not had as much momentum, but the hope is that he can regain momentum when he returns to action.
