AMC and TNA+ aired last night episode number 1,152 of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!, recorded from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show featured several matches and segments of interest, highlighting Nic Nemeth's victory over Jeff Hardy to retain the TNA World Championship in the main event of the night.
- Ricky Sosa defeated Brian Myers (with Bear Bronson) in the night's opener. In the final moments of the match, Cedric Alexander tried to intervene on behalf of his partner, whom he handed his X-Division Championship. However, Leon Slater appeared to prevent it. Sosa took advantage of his opponent's distraction to surprise him with a flying uppercut.
After the match, Leon Slater took a microphone to address Cedric Alexander, who continues to refuse to put the title on the line at Lockdown. Slater pointed out that, after much consideration, he had come to the conclusion that Alexander is afraid because he is envious of him. "I am the current X-Division Champion! I have no reason to envy you!", a furious Alexander replied. However, he was fully aware of how much Leon wanted to regain the belt. Just as much as he wanted to take away the record he holds as the champion with the second longest reign in history. Finally, Cedric agreed to put the championship on the line at Lockdown, but with one condition: If he wins, Slater's record will be nullified, erased from the history books. "Fine. See you at Lockdown," said Leon. "When I erase you from the history of this company, you know who to blame," Alexander affirmed to conclude this segment.
- Gia Miller interviewed Rich Swann and BDE backstage. Miller asked them about their surprise partner for the night (anyone except Jason Hotch, as demanded by Mustafa Ali). Swann mocked Ali, pointing out that he doesn't run TNA as he thinks, just as he won't be able to treat Hotch like trash anymore. As for their mysterious partner, he preferred to keep the surprise until the last moment.
- A.J. Francis was in the recording studio when the room lights went out for a few moments. At that moment, Elijah appeared, promising him that at Lockdown he would deliver justice for everything Francis has done to him in recent months. "A.J., not everyone who walks with Elijah lives to tell the tale," said "The Drifter". Scared, Francis took off his headphones and tried to leave through the door, but it was blocked. A.J. pounded on the door repeatedly, at which point the lights went out again. Suddenly, everything returned to normal. Francis's assistant asked him if he was okay. A.J., for his part, left the room without saying anything.
- Moose presented the first edition of Face of the Franchise Speech. After mocking Frankie Kazarian's attire, Moose revealed that the first guest of this new talk show was... Philadelphia itself. Moose began the interview by asking the fans to respond to his questions. "Who is The Face of The Franchise?", "Who has defeated each and every member of The System?", "Who has turned down a contract from every company in the world to stay in TNA?" or "Who will kick Frankie Kazarian's butt at Lockdown?". The audience responded "Moose!" to each of the questions.
Kazarian interrupted the segment to berate Moose for organizing a stupid game, and the fans for playing along. However, he was willing to stoop to his level to participate. Kazarian asked them to answer his question in the same way they had with Moose. "Who is the true King of TNA?", he asked twice. "Moose!", the audience responded. Fed up with the fans, Frankie headed into the ring, not without insulting the Philadelphia crowd and describing Moose as a "failed football player". Moose warned Kazarian that he would receive a punch in the face if he insulted his guests again. "I do what I want when I want. This is my company," said Frankie before mentioning Moose's family, whom he described as a failure as a father and husband. Furious, Moose threw a punch at Kazarian, leading to a fight that had to be stopped by several security members. "Let them fight!", chanted the fans as the segment came to an end.
- Rich Swann, BDE, and Trey Miguel defeated Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, and Special Agent 0 (with Mila Moore and Tasha Steelz) in a tag team match. Miguel applied a Lightning Spiral on Skyler for the victory.
After the match, Special Agent 0 surprised Miguel from behind to execute a Choke Bomb. Furious about the defeat, Ali ordered his partner to repeat the attack, but the appearance of Jason Hotch in the ring caused Order 4 to retreat.
- A video was shown of Xia Brookside getting her makeup done backstage.
TNA provided a medical update on several of its talents:
- A new video showed how the makeup session of Xia Brookside came to an end. The Knockouts World Champion opened her eyes and headed towards a mirror to see her face overloaded with makeup. Elayna Black appeared, revealing that it had been her doing. Furious, Brookside pushed Black, leading to a fight that ended with the former NXT Tag Team Champion being thrown against a metal barrier. Xia left the scene, leaving Elayna lying on the ground.
- M By Elegance (with Personal Concierge, Mr. Elegance, and M By Elegance) defeated Indi Hartwell to advance to the final of the Knockouts Television Championship tournament. In the final moments of the match, Hartwell was distracted by the appearance of Brookside and Black, who took their particular fight to ringside. M took advantage of it to throw her opponent against the metal steps. After that, he brought her back into the ring to finish her off with a moonsault.
- Harley Hudson starred in an emotional promotional video before her pivotal match against Alisha Edwards next week. Hudson reviewed her beginnings in her career and her arrival at TNA Wrestling, recalling that her stay in the company is at stake due to Daria Rae. Harley addressed Alisha directly, making it clear that she has nothing personal against her. She simply must defeat her for the sake of her career.
- A video showed Moose unconscious on the floor after apparently being attacked.
- KC Navarro defeated Eddie Edwards (with Alisha Edwards) after applying a Blessing in Disguise. Alisha tried to intervene in the match with a kendo stick, which distracted the referee. Navarro took advantage of it to grab the stick and attack his opponent, whom he finished off with his finisher.
After the match, Bear Bronson and Brian Myers stormed the ring to launch an assault on Navarro. The System introduced a metal chair to harm Navarro's neck, but Ricky Sosa, Fabian Aicher, and Jada Stone (armed with a large hammer) quickly came to their teammate's aid. Santino Marella made his entrance to make it clear that it was not the time to use weapons. With that said, he scheduled a mixed tag team match for Lockdown: Aichner, Sosa, Navarro, and Stone will face Myers, Bronson, and the Edwards couple at the PPV.
- Once again, Allie continued to search for Rosemary backstage. However, all the Knockouts Tag Team Champion found was a message written on a mirror: "La lucha es real" (The Struggle is Real).
- Nic Nemeth defeated Jeff Hardy to retain the TNA World Championship in the main event of the night. Nemeth blocked a Twist of Fate to respond with a Danger Zone, ending a hard-fought match to achieve the first individual victory of his career over "The Charismatic Enigma".
