After Rey and Dominik Mysterio, another member of the family is making the leap to WWE. According to Mike Johnson from PWInsider, Aalyah Mysterio, whose real name is Aalyah Gutierrez, has already started her training at the WWE Performance Center and is listed on the company's internal roster under her real name, which is common for new recruits while WWE assigns them a ring name.

The news is confirmed after it was leaked a few days ago that Rey Mysterio's daughter would join the company's training center. Additionally, Aalyah was recently photographed alongside other children of wrestling legends such as Lexis King (son of Brian Pillman), Marie Malenko (daughter of Dean Malenko), Uriah Connors (son of Fit Finlay), Avery Styles (son of AJ Styles), and Brooks Jensen (son of Bull Buchanan). The photo was posted by Lexis King on Tuesday, August 11, amidst the controversy surrounding Avery Styles' situation in GCW.

Neither WWE nor the Mysterio family have officially announced that Aalyah is beginning her journey in the company. Although she has never competed as a wrestler in the ring, she has appeared on screen in the past in WWE segments alongside her father and brother Dominik.

Aalyah has occasionally appeared on WWE's television programming, even getting involved in a storyline during the 2020 pandemic era when her father and brother were feuding with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. On that occasion, Aalyah was paired with Murphy, with whom she even shared a kissing scene. However, she was never part of the action. Something that Aalyah herself hopes to change in the near future.
