The future of Bayley in WWE has become one of the soap operas of the summer. With the wrestler still not renewing with the company and her contract not far from expiring, many believe that "The Role Model" will end up making the leap to All Elite Wrestling, where she would reunite with one of her best friends, Mercedes Moné, who not long ago fantasized about a match between them in WrestleDream next October.
Despite her absence from WWE's television programming, Bayley has remained active on social media, where she has posted numerous photos with WWE and NXT talents backstage. She recently posted a video of her training in different parts of the world with other talents, including Moné. A video that has caught the attention of the company owned by Endeavor, as revealed by WrestleVotes on Fightful Select.
"WrestleVotes has reported through Fightful Select that they do not have a substantial update on Bayley's contractual situation with WWE. However, they have learned that the video the wrestler posted on social media 'did not sit well with everyone'," the outlet wrote.
"Bayley posted a video with footage of her training in different places with various wrestlers, including Mercedes Moné from AEW. The song she used to accompany the video is titled All In, by The Grouch & Eligh. The text accompanying the post was: 'all or nothing, baby.' Some people within WWE considered the post 'enough to raise an eyebrow'," the report concluded.
Bayley was defeated by Lyra Valkyria in the most recent edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. After the match, the Irishwoman continued to attack "The Role Model," applying a Nightwing on the metal stairs. A brutal attack that many have seen as a storyline excuse to keep her away from the screens while her future is resolved. For now, the company continues to mention her on television.
