That Alexa Bliss joining The Wyatt Sicks was not just a fan rumor. WWE seriously discussed the idea from the faction's early days, and Joe Gacy assures that they were initially told that Bliss would eventually join the group. In an interview with Wombeezy, Gacy revealed that it was already being talked about in some of the early creative meetings of The Wyatt Sicks, when Bliss was still away from WWE television.

“From the beginning there were serious conversations about it. I think in one of our first meetings they basically told us: 'Yes, eventually when Alexa is ready to come back, she will join you',” he stated.

However, there was a significant obstacle that WWE had to address first. Bliss's last storyline with Bray Wyatt had not ended on good terms, and Gacy said there were doubts about how that would fit with her interaction with Uncle Howdy. “I think the conversation was that we didn't know how Uncle Howdy's character and Alexa would interact with each other. And I think that might have been part of the reason why it took so long, because realistically on television, the last time there was interaction it wasn't good. It seemed like they were against each other,” Gacy explained.

For Gacy, that was something that WWE should have addressed instead of ignoring the previous history. “I feel like that had to be addressed and I don't know if it's beating around the bush, but I'd like to think we should have done it,” he added. The idea didn't disappear when Bliss was finally getting ready to return. Gacy revealed that there was another round of meetings and this time The Wyatt Sicks presented ideas to work with Bliss. She also contributed her own ideas.

It didn't happen at first because she wasn't ready to come back yet. And then, when the time came for her to return, we had meetings again and had ideas for her to be involved. We presented some ideas. She also had some ideas and, I don't know, I guess they decided to go in another direction with her and with us. She went one way but still referencing Bray, while we are here, obviously, being the Wyatt 6.

WWE ended up going in another direction, a decision that left Gacy frustrated because Bliss and The Wyatt Sicks continued to reference Bray Wyatt while sometimes appearing on the same shows without ever acknowledging each other.

“I just feel like there should have been some kind of interaction at least with her. Whatever it is, I don't know, but it seems a bit absurd to me that we're on the same show, sometimes with matches one after the other, and we don't address the fact that she was with Bray, betrayed Bray, or anything,” he stated. The missed opportunity stands out even more because Bliss herself wanted to explore that connection. In 2025, Bliss admitted that she would love to explore a reunion with Bray's legacy, explaining that Wyatt always believed their characters would reconnect in a significant way.
