AMC and TNA+ aired last night episode number 1,153 of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!, recorded from The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show featured several matches and segments of interest, highlighting the victory of Elijah, Moose, and The Hardys over The Nemeths, A.J. Francis, and Frankie Kazarian in the main event of the night.
- Mustafa Ali and Order 4 were in charge of opening the show. Ali delivered a promo to declare a state of emergency. The reason? There is a new TNA International Champion, and his name is Jason Hotch. Mustafa recalled Hotch's title victory against his wife and daughter. "The problem is that he is not a good man", Ali said. "He is not the man of his house. I am", he added. Mustafa claimed that he was the one who could afford Hotch's daughter's toys and his wife's dresses. That's why he demanded loyalty, starting with John Skyler. Ali informed his subordinate that that night he would face his great friend, but not for the International Championship, but for something much more important: earning his loyalty. With that said, Mustafa ended this segment.
- Gia Miller approached Jason Hotch to ask him about what happened in the first segment of the night. The International Champion confessed that he had no words about it. What he could say is that John Skyler is his best friend, whom he also considers part of his family. "Mustafa Ali talks too much," Hotch said after pointing out that the leader of Order 4 believes he sets the rules. Jason revealed to Miller that he would not face his best friend. Daria Rae soon interrupted the interview to inform Hotch that refusing to compete would have consequences, whether it be a suspension, or even losing the championship. "Behave like a professional", said the TNA Director of Operations before leaving.
- Rich Swann (with BDE) defeated Mr. Elegance (with Personal Concierge, M, and Heather By Elegance) by surprising him with a roll-up. After the match, The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) appeared on the entrance ramp to observe the scene.
- Jada Stone defeated Heather By Elegance (with Personal Concierge, Mr. Elegance, and M By Elegance) to advance to the final of the Knockouts Television Championship tournament. Stone surprised Heather with a Spark Stunner to claim the victory.
- Elayna Black and Xia Brookside held a satellite meeting. Black recalled what happened last week (when she overdid the makeup on the British wrestler), stating that she was just trying to add a fun touch to the champion. However, there will be nothing funny at Lockdown. Just the two of them inside a steel structure. Brookside claimed that Elayna continues to show that she is a woman desperate for attention, and that she is lying to herself if she thinks she can snatch the Knockouts World Championship from her. Xia proclaimed herself the greatest world champion in the company's history, as she has already proven by defeating Léi Yǐng Lee and sending Wendy Choo back to NXT empty-handed. Black reminded Brookside that Lockdown will take place in her hometown of Chicago, so there is nothing that can prevent her from leaving the event as the new champion. Xia, for her part, assured that in Chicago she will take care of humiliating her in front of her family and friends. With that said, the champion disconnected to end the meeting.
- In a backstage segment, we saw Mr. Elegance still in shock after losing his undefeated streak in TNA. Meanwhile, Heather By Elegance also could not believe that her participation in the tournament to determine the first Knockouts World Television Champion had come to an end. Personal Concierge tried to calm everyone down, asking them to focus exclusively on Lockdown, where Heather and M will regain the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships. In addition, M will become the first Television Champion in the company's history. The Elegance Brand continued on their path with Personal Concierge shouting over and over that all those belts will be theirs.
- Brian Myers defeated Fabian Aichner in a one-on-one match. Myers took advantage of a distraction by the referee to deliver a low blow to the Italian, whom he finished off with a Roster Cut.
TNA provided a medical update on several of its talents:
- Harley Hudson had a phone conversation with former wrestler Traci Brooks. In it, Hudson confessed that she felt a lot of pressure before her match against Alisha Edwards, as a loss would mean her dismissal from TNA. Brooks pointed out that the company offered her a contract because they believe in her, just like the fans and Brooks herself do. "Believe in yourself. Remember who you are", said the legend. More encouraged, Harley thanked her for her words, promising not to let down all those who believe in her.
- Jason Hotch defeated John Skyler by disqualification. Unable to avoid the fight due to Daria Rae's threats, Hotch proposed to his friend to have a great wrestling match to show the world what TNA talent is capable of. However, shortly after the action began, Mila Moore appeared on the scene with direct orders from Mustafa Ali, who demanded that Skyler destroy Hotch. Several security members on Ali's payroll stormed the ring. Hotch quickly got rid of all of them, but he couldn't stop a big boot from Special Agent 0. Ali then appeared to pose with the International Championship over his former employee. "In Ali We Trust!" he exclaimed before leaving with his men.
- The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) delivered a video promo directly aimed at BDE. Vincent and Dutch acknowledged BDE's potential. However, this potential won't be realized if the young talent allows Rich Swann to continue hindering this growth. That's why they will keep their hands extended to offer advice. With the seed planted, it remains to be seen if it will germinate.
- Harley Hudson defeated Alisha Edwards (with Eddie Edwards) by surprising her with a roll-up.
- Furious, Alisha didn't take long to attack Hudson. Eddie entered the ring to restrain the British wrestler, at which point Jada Stone burst onto the scene. Stone got rid of Alisha with a superkick before dodging a charge from Eddie, who ended up falling to ringside. With the ring cleared, Jada helped Harley to her feet. Both celebrated the victory of the latter and her stay in TNA.
- A promotional video was shown for the rivalry currently starring Cedric Alexander and Leon Slater with the X-Division Championship at stake.
- Elijah, Moose, and The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) defeated A.J. Francis, Frankie Kazarian, and The Nemeths (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) in a tag team match in the main event of the night. Matt delivered a Twisted Fate on Francis, whom Jeff finished off with a Swanton Bomb.
- Before the broadcast came to an end, the cameras showed Cedric Alexander lying on the floor backstage after allegedly being attacked.
