Omos has been indefinitely suspended from AAA on Fox after being involved in a violent incident with Rey Mysterio during the episode aired on August 22. The giant faced Galeno in the opening match of the show, a bout that ended in a no-contest after an especially physical exchange. However, the outcome of the match was just the beginning of the chaos, as Omos continued to attack Galeno after the match and forced AAA management to intervene.

After taking Galeno to the announcer's table, Omos returned to the ring with the apparent intention of using metal stairs as a weapon. Rey Mysterio, in his role as AAA's general manager, came out to defuse the situation before it escalated further. The intervention did not have the desired effect: Omos turned on Mysterio, grabbed him, and prepared to deliver a chokeslam. Dorian Roldan tried to stop him, while Dominik Mysterio, the current AAA Mega Champion, was seen cheering Omos on from ringside.

Although Omos eventually relented and left Rey Mysterio on the ground, the disciplinary decision came immediately. The WWE Hall of Famer announced Omos' indefinite suspension from AAA on Fox for his behavior. The measure angered the wrestler, who reacted by grabbing Mysterio and striking him to send him out of the ring, closing the segment with a new assault against the brand's top authority.

For now, there is no information on how long the suspension will last or what Omos' next step within AAA will be. There are also no confirmed updates on a possible return to WWE programming, so his status in both companies remains uncertain.
