Omos has been indefinitely suspended from AAA on Fox after being involved in a violent incident with Rey Mysterio during the episode aired on August 22. The giant faced Galeno in the opening match of the show, a bout that ended in a no-contest after an especially physical exchange. However, the outcome of the match was just the beginning of the chaos, as Omos continued to attack Galeno after the match and forced AAA management to intervene.
After taking Galeno to the announcer's table, Omos returned to the ring with the apparent intention of using metal stairs as a weapon. Rey Mysterio, in his role as AAA's general manager, came out to defuse the situation before it escalated further. The intervention did not have the desired effect: Omos turned on Mysterio, grabbed him, and prepared to deliver a chokeslam.
