Tubi has aired episode 75 of WWE Evolve early this morning, the new show starring the developmental talent of the company. The matches of the show were recorded a few weeks ago at the WWE Performance Center. The episode featured four matches and several segments, highlighting Elijah Holyfield's victory over Brooks Jensen in a Lumberjack Match in the main event of the night.
In this news, we will provide the quick results of the show and the full video of the event.
- Brooks Jensen cut a backstage promo before his match against Elijah Holyfield. In it, Jensen promised to defeat his rival to show the world and his rival's family that he is nothing but a "colossal failure."
- Laynie Luck defeated PJ Vasa after hitting a Death Valley Party.
- Gianna Capri delivered a backstage promo, making it clear that she is not new to the business. She has won championships in the independent scene, competed in Japan, and even practiced ballet for 20 years. "Ballet taught me two things: discipline and how to make competition look easy", she said. Capri sent a message to the Evolve women's roster, especially to Anya Rune, suggesting that they should not stand in her way if they are not prepared to deal with her, because things will only get worse for everyone from now on.
- Kale Dixon (with Alix Brooks) defeated Chazz "Starboy" Hall. Brooks took advantage of a referee distraction to make Hall fall from the top of one of the turnbuckles, allowing Dixon to finish him off with the 96.
- Elijah Holyfield responded to Brooks Jensen in a brief backstage promo. Holyfield stated that the biggest mistake Jensen made in EVOLVE was messing with his family. And that night he was going to pay a high price for it.
- Zena Sterling defeated Layla Diggs with a roll-up using the ropes for leverage.
- The Unknown delivered another video promo. This time, he addressed the EVOLVE women's division directly. "I will drag you into darkness and dismantle that false confidence. I don't want the mask you put on for them. I want the raw and bleeding reality of who you are when panic sets in. I want to see that part of you that drowns in the unknown," he said.
- Harlem Lewis came out to deliver a promo. The WWE EVOLVE Champion pointed out that his reign would consist of defeating all the opponents that Timnothy Thatcher chooses as his challengers. And after his last defense, he needed a new opponent. He didn't care who his next victim would be, but he was curious to know their name. That's why he suggested to the EVOLVE Foreman to schedule a match to determine said challenger. Harley Riggins interrupted the promo to make it clear that such a match was unnecessary, as he would be the one to take the title from him. Riggins boasted about his victories in the brand, as well as proclaiming himself the toughest guy around. Lewis asked Riggins if he had permission from his daddy, Kam Hendrix, to come out. "I thought you were a fighting champion. I thought you'd do it anytime, anywhere. What a World Tour you're having, buddy. Why don't you just sit there and cry like a little puppy?", Riggins replied. Furious, Harlem left the ring to attack Harley, leading to a brawl. Timothy Thatcher had to intervene along with several security members to restore order.
- The Mog Squad attacked Aaron Rourke backstage. "This is a message to the entire EVOLVE roster! Mess with us and you'll see what happens!," exclaimed Max Abrams.
