AMC and TNA+ aired last night episode number 1,154 of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!, live from the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The show featured several matches and segments of interest, highlighting the coronation of M By Elegance as the first Knockouts World Television Champion, the debut of Zoey Serrano, and The Nemeths' victory over Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships in the main event of the night.
- The Nemeths (Nic and Ryan Nemeth) were in charge of opening the show. "It's a great day to be a Nemeth brother!" exclaimed Ryan. He boasted about defeating The Hardys (once again) and being tag team champions with his brother (once again) before proclaiming The Nemeths as the greatest family in the history of professional wrestling. Ryan reminded everyone that his brother is the first wrestler to hold both the World Championship and the TNA Tag Team Championship simultaneously since Kurt Angle, whose name appeared on the big screen in the arena. Ryan quickly ordered to remove the legend's name, considering it disrespectful to appear in the same venue as his brother. Nic mocked the young talent for giving up his X-Division Championship just to shine under their spotlight for a chance at the company's top title.
Leon Slater appeared to make it clear to Nic that he didn't interrupt him to take advantage of his spotlight, but to look him in the eye when he announced his decision to execute plan C as X-Division Champion. With that said, he promised to become the youngest world champion in TNA history. And speaking of championships, he hinted at the possibility of going for the tag team titles with Ricky Sosa. Slater recalled that he and Sosa remain undefeated in tag team matches, at which point the latter joined the conversation. Furious, Ryan refused to grant them an opportunity, making it clear that they don't book matches in TNA. Santino Marella appeared on the entrance ramp. The Authority Director sided with Ryan. Sosa and Slater don't book matches, but he does, and he thought the idea was very good. With that said, Marella officially announced that The Nemeths would defend their world tag team titles against Slater and Sosa in the main event of the night.
- Mila Moore had a phone conversation with Mustafa Ali alongside the rest of Order 4. Once finished, Moore informed her teammates that Ali was still hospitalized, so he wouldn't be able to compete in the previously scheduled match that night, where he would team up with Special Agent 0 to face Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch. For that reason, she ordered John Skyler to replace him. Mila hinted that this decision made Skyler the leader of the faction that night.
- Bear Bronson and Brian Myers made their entrance for the next match of the night. Myers acknowledged that The System came out of Lockdown with scars. However, once again they showed why they are the guardians of TNA and why no one can "defeat the System."
- Elijah defeated Bear Bronson (with Brian Myers) after hitting him with a Tombstone Piledriver. After the match, The System as a whole stormed the ring to launch an assault on Elijah.
TNA provided a medical update on several of its talents:
- Elayna Black delivered a backstage promo. Black acknowledged that her match at TNA Lockdown meant a lot to her, as she competed in front of her family, friends, and coaches. Elayna was proud of her performance that night, but it didn't help her feel better about her loss. However, she believed that karma played against her. Black had mistreated many people in the past, so she deserved this punishment. Elayna assured that this was not the end. She had to move forward and show her worth, not only for her family and friends, but also for all the girls who want to be like her. That's why it was time to remember who she is. She's only 25 years old, and this is just the beginning in TNA. Black promised that this is just the start of a long era in the company.
- Jason Hotch and Trey Miguel defeated John Skyler and Special Agent 0 (with Tasha Steelz and Mila Moore) in a tag team match. Miguel hit a diving meteora on Skyler for the victory.
After the match, Mustafa Ali appeared on the arena screen. Visibly in pain on a hospital bed, Ali congratulated Hotch for fracturing his ribs at Lockdown. Mustafa admitted it was a very painful sensation, and it would be even more so if someone disrespected his wife and daughter. Ali acknowledged that the rivalry with Hotch had gone too far. So much so that other people had also been injured. That's why he offered a truce, ensuring he would welcome him back to the faction with open arms if he wanted to return. "The decision is yours," Mustafa said to end the video. Hotch, on the other hand, seemed undecided about it.
- The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) approached BDE and Rich Swann backstage. Vincent and Dutch congratulated BDE on their match at Lockdown before asking if they had reconsidered their offer. Swann asked The Righteous to leave. Dutch, on the other hand, challenged BDE to a singles match that same night, with Vincent adding that once he was defeated, the young talent might want to reconsider their offer.
- Gia Miller interviewed Avery Styles backstage. Avery stated that signing with TNA Wrestling was a dream come true, especially because it's a place he's known since he was a child, and the company where his father made a name for himself. Moose appeared on the scene to congratulate Avery on his signing, but also to give him advice: "Be careful who you associate with," Moose said before assuring him that Frankie Kazarian is not the kind of person who helps others unless he expects to get much more in return. Kazarian didn't take long to interrupt Moose to tell him to shut up. Frankie claimed he was the right person to help the young talent and that his goal was to guide Avery in the right direction. With that said, he took Avery away to end the segment.
- M By Elegance and Jada Stone starred in a promotional video before their match in the final of the Knockouts World Television Championship tournament.
- M By Elegance (with Personal Concierge, Heather By Elegance, and Mr. Elegance) defeated Jada Stone to become the first Knockouts World Television Champion
- A video showed Jeff Hardy being loaded into an ambulance after apparently being attacked backstage. His brother Matt, concerned and puzzled by what happened, accompanied him.
- Indi Hartwell delivered a promo in the ring. In it, Hartwell acknowledged that it bothered her that Daria Rae claimed she didn't deserve a title shot. Hartwell pointed out that she had been obsessed with wrestling since she was eight years old. And unlike other talents, she didn't have a "Plan B." Indi crossed half the world to get to the United States and pursue her dream. She had never felt more ready or stronger, both physically and mentally. So much so that it could be said she was in her "prime." With that said, she noted that no one was standing in her way anymore.
Daria Rae interrupted the promo to mock Hartwell, whom she labeled as "mediocre" talent. Rae was tired of people who think they deserve more than others because in the real world, money equals opportunities. And at Hartwell's level, she should go back to the catering table. A "slip" led Hartwell to call TNA's Chief Operating Officer "Diarrhea." Fans didn't miss the chance to mock Rae with chants of "Diarrhea." Upset, Daria claimed she could beat Indi up if she put her boots back on. "Just because your professional career has been a failure doesn't mean you should take it out on others," said Indi to hit a nerve. With that said, she promised Rae that nothing would stop her from becoming the Knockouts World Champion. Tired of the conversation, Daria threatened to leave the ring, only for Zoey Serrano to surprise Indi with a chop block! The former WWE tag team champion finished off her victim with a Z-360 before Rae introduced her to the fans as her great friend and new member of the TNA roster.
- A sore Indi Hartwell received support from Harley Hudson backstage. Xia Brookside approached them to mock this "Daria Rae haters club." Brookside insisted that Hartwell didn't deserve a shot at her world championship, adding that as long as Rae was in charge, she wouldn't have to worry about it. Tension between the two women escalated until Santino Marella appeared on the scene. Santino pointed out that he could book that match. Daria Rae quickly joined the conversation to remind Hartwell of what happened the last time she attacked a teammate in TNA. And after what happened that night, she was willing to take the matter to the board of directors. Marella calmed things down by proposing a tag team match: Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson vs. Xia Brookside and Zoey Serrano next week. Everyone agreed to the idea. Rae and Brookside left to end the segment.
- The Nemeths (Ryan and Nic Nemeth) defeated Leon Slater and Ricky Sosa to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championships in the main event of the night. Nic surprised Sosa with the Danger Zone for the victory.
