MJF is known for being one of the best talents of his generation, but also one of the most controversial in front of and behind the cameras. "Honestly, I believe one of the biggest mistakes young people make in this industry is that many spend their time trying to find veterans in the locker room. Because if you are better than them, you are taking away their livelihood," MJF stated after discussing his past relationship with Adam Cole.
"The only person you can trust in this industry is yourself," he continued. "Now, if you're a young reader with terrible instincts, then I can't help you. It's better for you to be a follower. Believe me, there are many followers in this industry, and they make good money being followers, they just don't make money like MJF, and that's okay. Not everyone is meant to lead. Some people are born to be backup dancers. Others are born to be stars. That's really what I've learned. The only person I can and should trust is myself and my own instincts."
MJF will be part of the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In London, where an opportunity for the AEW World Championship will be at stake. A title, on the other hand, that "The Devil" considers a "toy". Since his return to television programming, MJF has carried his former world championship, Triple B, claiming it to be the true champion's belt.
