Tomorrow one of the most anticipated events of the year for All Elite Wrestling fans will take place. All In London will once again be held at the iconic Wembley Stadium in front of a live audience of 45,000 fans. A show packed with great matches, long-awaited coronations, and, of course, surprises in the form of debuts and returns is expected.
One of these surprises could be the return of Thekla to the company's television programming after more than a month of absence. According to Fightful, "The Toxic Spider" is currently in London in preparation for the PPV event.
"Sources have informed Fightful Select that Thekla is in London ahead of the AEW All In London event. At the moment, no specific creative plans (or anything else she might be doing this weekend) have been communicated to us," the media outlet wrote.
The Austrian wrestler disappeared from television programming after losing the Women's World Championship to Willow Nightingale at AEW Redemption. Her absence has sparked much debate among fans who were hoping to see her back to compete in the London event. Officially, Thekla is not part of the All In lineup, although it is very likely that she will make some kind of appearance during the event, as hinted by Tony Khan in the pre-PPV press conference.
"We saw Thekla in this incredible match and we haven't seen her since. I think we need to pay attention to AEW because we should expect Thekla to return very soon," said the AEW president. "Thekla is a great wrestler; she is someone who is very much on my mind and I am also very aware that she has been a great champion for us."
"She is someone who can come in and become a key part of our shows at any time, whether on a pay-per-view or on television," he continued. "Furthermore, Thekla is also very unpredictable. So I would say we need to be attentive and, without a doubt, Thekla is a highly valued person within AEW."
