Piper Niven has shared a new update on her recovery after the cervical injury that has kept her away from WWE for over a year. The wrestler underwent surgery several weeks ago and recently informed her followers that the results of her latest tests are positive. Although there is still no date for her return to competition, Niven assured that the recovery process is progressing satisfactorily.

Niven, 35, has been out of action since August 2025. After undergoing surgery earlier this year, the former champion has been sharing some details about her progress. In her latest social media post, she explained that the tests performed at twelve weeks showed that the affected area is "healing wonderfully." She also posted several photos of her scans to give fans a more concrete image of her recovery.

"Hello, cowboys. I've had the twelve-week tests and everything is 'healing wonderfully'. As I entered my messages, I found a lot of affection and concern, so I wanted to thank you. I probably won't respond to anyone before disappearing from social media with an 'Irish goodbye.' Don't be mad at me, but thank you for caring so much," Niven wrote.

The wrestler also warned that she will take a break from social media to continue with her daily life without constantly posting updates. "I'm going back to my geriatric life in Florida. Maybe I'll be back in a while or maybe I'll disappear from the face of the Earth; who knows. I've heard that no one posts anything anymore, so maybe no one will see this. Who am I talking to? Well, I love you, goodbye," she added with her usual sense of humor.

Niven's progress is encouraging news after such a long absence, but her comments do not establish when she will be able to return to wrestling. The wrestler still needs to complete her rehabilitation and receive medical clearance before rejoining WWE programming. For now, her priority is to continue recovering while keeping her followers informed when she believes there is relevant news.
