TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! Results - September 10, 2026

- Elayna Black defeated Heather By Elegance (with Personal Concierge, M By Elegance, and Mr. Elegance) in the first match of the night. Elayna applied the Blackout for the victory.

- Gia Miller interviewed Ryan Nemeth backstage. The TNA Tag Team Champion described himself as a "victim of a heinous attack." However, his brother Nic, who is not only the World Champion but also a top detective, knew that Matt Hardy was the culprit. Gia asked Ryan if he had evidence. Ryan pointed out that he didn't need it, as it was evident that the eldest Hardy was responsible. Ryan assured that his brother would defeat him tonight to exact his revenge. He, meanwhile, felt proud to be part of the greatest family in the history of professional wrestling. With that said, he left to end the interview.

- Daria Rae approached Jason Hotch backstage to ask if he was ready for his match that night. Surprised, Hotch mentioned he didn't have any scheduled fight. Rae informed him that she had received a call from Mustafa Ali, who requested a match between Hotch and Special Agent 0, with Mila Moore as the special referee. A match that Daria made official. A smiling Moore appeared, dressed for the occasion, at which point Rae left the scene.

- Frankie Kazarian held a new edition of "The King's Speech," this time accompanied by Avery Styles. Kazarian announced that a coronation would take place that night: his own. Frankie recalled his victory over Moose at TNA Lockdown, which "officially" made him the new "face of the franchise." Kazarian pulled back a cloth to reveal the crown in question. "I crown myself as your king," he said before stating that it was a visual representation of who was at the top of TNA. "The true king of TNA," he said.

Moose interrupted the segment to mock Frankie. "Look at you. You're ridiculous. Now you're a damn clown?", he asked. Once in the ring, Moose pointed out that everyone in the arena knew that Kazarian got lucky at Lockdown. Frankie asked him to explain. Moose reminded him that he wasn't defeated. Kazarian didn't pin him nor made him submit. He simply escaped the cage after taking a beating. Frankie accused Moose of being a talent who "politicized" a lot but wouldn't get what he was looking for: a rematch inside a steel cage. Moose indicated he didn't want another cage match but a one-on-one for next week. Kazarian refused and ordered him to leave the ring. Moose insisted on his proposal, stating that the crown wouldn't change the fact that everyone backstage wouldn't recognize him as the "King of TNA." And all because he couldn't defeat him. These words changed Frankie's mindset, who finally accepted the challenge... but with a big condition. "You'll put your TNA career on the line. If I win, you're gone. Take it or leave it," said Kazarian. "I accept," Moose replied. Frankie mentioned that next week he would bring the crown with him, as he would be attending a funeral. With that said, he ordered his theme music to play and left with Avery to end the segment.

- Gia Miller interviewed Gabby Forza backstage. Miller recalled that that night would be Forza's second match in TNA, and she would also compete for the Knockouts World Championship. Gabby was very excited about this match. She knew she had skipped the line, but she couldn't waste the opportunity to win one of the most important women's championships in this business. Gabby promised to show the world what "The Gnomie" is capable of.

- Fabian Aichner defeated Rohit Raju to qualify for the X-Division Championship match at TNA Bound For Glory. Aichner applied the Hasta la vista for the victory.

- Zoey Serrano delivered a video promo. In it, she reviewed her career in the world of professional wrestling, from her beginnings to her arrival at WWE, where she finally fulfilled her dream. However, an injury ended everything abruptly. Serrano pointed out that her entire career was about making everyone happy. But that changed the moment she landed in TNA. Serrano stated that she didn't need to shake her butt or post videos on TikTok. She just needed to be herself. To finish, Zoey sent a direct message to her new locker room colleagues. "Like it or not, you're looking at the new face of the Knockouts division," she said.

- Jason Hotch defeated Special Agent 0 in a singles match. Mila Moore acted as the special referee, hindering Hotch whenever she had the chance. Furious, Tasha Steelz stormed into the ring to attack Moore and snatch the referee shirt, which she quickly put on. Hotch took advantage of the distraction to surprise Special Agent 0 with a roll-up. At that moment, Tasha performed a lightning-fast three-count to secure Hotch's victory.

TNA provided a medical update on several of its talents:

  • Jeff Hardy remains on medical leave after the mysterious attack he suffered backstage two weeks ago.
  • Ryan Nemeth, who allegedly was also attacked, has been medically cleared.
  • BDE is missing after The Righteous took them last week.
  • Matt Hardy has been cleared by the medical team to compete tonight.

- Leon Slater approached Matt Hardy backstage to inform him that he would be by his side in the main event of the night. Leon knew that Ryan Nemeth would intervene at some point in the match, which is why Matt would need someone to watch his back. Matt thanked him for that. Next, Slater met with Jason Hotch, who wanted to thank him for his support. With that said, he promised that both would leave as TNA Bound For Glory champions. Hotch and Slater fist-bumped to say goodbye.

- Xia Brookside defeated Gabby Forza to retain the Knockouts World Championship. In the final moments of the match, and after being overwhelmed by her opponent, Xia took her championship and headed backstage. Indi Hartwell appeared to force her to return. Daria Rae soon appeared to reprimand Hartwell for her attitude. The referee got distracted by what was happening ringside, allowing Brookside to return to the ring and hit Gabby's head with her belt. This way, she could cover her for the victory.

- Kiera Hogan and Allie were chatting animatedly backstage. Kiera informed her partner that Santino Marella had granted her an opportunity for the Knockouts World Television Championship for being the woman who pinned M By Elegance in the tag team championship defense at Lockdown. Allie was happy for her, stating that she would become a double champion.

- The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Bear Bronson, Cedric Alexander, and Brian Myers) interrupted a concert by Elijah just as it was starting. Eddie promised they would take down Elijah again, only this time he wouldn't be able to get up. Eddie insisted that The System were the guardians of TNA. They took out Ricky Sosa, and Elijah was next. However, before they could get into the ring, Sosa appeared to join Elijah. "You've been messing with me week after week. And now you mess with my friend Elijah? That's not going to happen," said Sosa. He challenged the faction to a tag team match for next week. A challenge that Eddie didn't hesitate to accept. The System retreated backstage to end the segment.

- Matt Hardy sat in a room backstage as he mentally reviewed what had happened in recent weeks. At that moment, he was visited by Willow, who asked him how he was feeling. "I'm motivated to avenge my brother. I'm going to punish Nic Nemeth and take away the TNA World Championship from him," Matt promised. A production member entered the room to ask Matt if he was okay and who he was talking to. Matt replied that he was just motivating himself before his match. With that said, he left the room.

- Cameras showed Leon Slater lying on a ladder after being attacked.

- Rich Swann defeated Vincent (with Dutch) after hitting him with a 450 Splash. In the final moments of the match, Swann accidentally knocked out the referee. Vincent signaled for BDE (dressed in white) to join them. Vincent ordered BDE to attack Swann, who didn't understand what was happening. Suddenly, BDE surprised Vincent with a cutter, allowing Rich to finish him with his finisher.

- Nic Nemeth defeated Matt Hardy in a no disqualification match to retain the TNA World Championship in the main event of the night. Nemeth struck Matt's head with a wrench to knock him out and cover him for the victory.
