Mark Shapiro commented yesterday that WWE and Disney were in negotiations for an agreement for 2027. The president of TKO did not offer more details about these negotiations, beyond the interest from an advertising and sponsorship perspective. Today, WrestleVotes, through Fightful Select, has revealed more information on the subject.

"As we are informed, the conversations with Disney are not something new. WWE has been interested in exploring a relationship with Disney since before the agreement with ESPN came into play. Although nothing is official, and according to the knowledge of the consulted source, conversations have taken place that go beyond the possibility of holding WWE events on Disney properties in Orlando, Florida," the media wrote.

"One of the ideas that have been raised is to use the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which has a pavilion with a capacity for 9,500 spectators that could be used for WWE events, as well as for possible 'festivals' or larger-scale fan experiences. It is also reported that WWE has explored concepts similar to ESPN Fan House," Fightful wrote.

"A source also speculated on the possibility that, in the long term, a WWE-themed experience within Disney's cruise line could make sense from a business perspective. Finally, it is reported that several WWE talents are expected to start appearing in Disney+ content over the next year," the report concluded.

This would not be the first time WWE works with Disney. It is worth noting that the company owned by Endeavor signed a multi-year agreement with ESPN (owned by Disney) for the exclusive broadcast of its PLE on the ESPN Unlimited platform exclusively in the United States. This agreement has just completed its first year of the agreed five.
