One of the most significant moments of the show took place when the faction destroyed Oba Femi, who received the impact of two spears from Bron Breakker and three Tsunamis from Bronson Reed. Enough punishment for the Nigerian to be left lying and defenseless on the mat. Or, at least, that was the plan.
While The Vision were celebrating, Reed wanted to pose by placing his foot on "The Ruler." A gesture we have seen countless times, but this time it was interrupted by Oba himself, who elbowed the Australian's leg to move it away from his back. Well, it seems that this should not have happened and that people within WWE were not happy with the Nigerian for deviating from the script. "WrestleVotes reported on Fightful Select that there was quite a bit of backstage conversation among WWE staff after the segment featuring Oba Femi and The Vision faction on WWE Raw on September 7, specifically regarding the moment when Femi moved Bronson Reed's foot when he placed it on the wrestler's back.
We have learned that that moment was not scripted or part of the segment's script, so it surprised some people backstage. WrestleVotes inquired about it and received as a response that several people noticed what happened and some of them did not like it," the outlet wrote.
It is unknown if Femi has been scolded backstage for what happened. We also do not know if his attitude was due to improvisation or genuine discomfort at being stepped on. In any case, "The Ruler's" rivalry with The Vision seems far from over. Oba is still locally advertised to appear in the next episode of the red brand, which will take place in Mexico City.
