Mustafa Ali seems ready to return to TNA Wrestling. Ali has been inactive since suffering an injury at TNA Lockdown last month, when he fractured several ribs and suffered a punctured lung during his match against Jason Hotch.
On Saturday, Ali posted a video on social media that ended with the date "09-24-26." The TNA Impact episode on September 24 will be broadcast live from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. TNA will return to that venue on Friday, September 25 for another round of TV tapings.
Shortly after Ali suffered the injury at Lockdown, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer reported that it did not occur during the spot where Hotch dove from the top of the cage through a table onto Ali, but rather during a routine move. The exact timing of the injury has not been revealed.
Following the injury, Ali also withdrew from his commitments in Melbourne, Australia, and Glasgow, Scotland.
