Just moments after his World Heavyweight Championship match in WWE in Mexico, Roman Reigns already has his next challenger. After his successful title defense against Penta in Mexico City, Reigns was interrupted by his long-time rival, LA Knight. In social media images after the show, Reigns was seen limping towards the gorilla position area, while Knight strolled around the ring with his music playing in the background.
Following his title match, Reigns was attacked by LA Knight in the middle of a promo. Knight closed the segment by snatching the title from Reigns and posing with it. Later, in digital footage, a furious Reigns announced his intentions to defend his title against Knight at the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live event, looking directly into the camera.
“This is what I'm talking about. I'm fed up. All these beggars. You (LA Knight) want it? If he wants it, he can get it. Money in the Bank, New Orleans. Down south, I'm gonna whoop his ass”, declared Reigns.
