Bronson Reed and Oba Femi starred in one of the most talked-about moments of the WWE Raw episode on September 7 after the Nigerian refused to be stomped on by "The Tribal Thief." A gesture that did not go unnoticed by fans, who did not expect such a reaction from a man seemingly devastated on the canvas, nor from the backstage team, where there was some discomfort.

Many have interpreted Femi's gesture as that of a man with a very inflated ego, while others have downplayed the situation. Interestingly, one of them is Reed, who was asked about the issue in a recent interview with The West Sport.

"Yes, 100%," he responded when asked if attacking Oba Femi was his goal before his return. "I always think that, in the business we are in, people are always trying to take your spot. And while I was out for those 6 months, I made sure to watch Monday Night (Raw) each and every week. And I saw Oba Femi's rise and how he has become such an important part of WWE; now he is one of the pillars. And I think you should always aim for the top. So if that's what has happened in these last six months, he is my target."

About the controversy of Femi moving his foot away

"Oh, I think you have to remember that, I am the boss. I will always assert my dominance, and that's what I would try to do, and he is very similar. That's why he obviously moved his foot away from me, so if people speculate about these things, go ahead. Speculate. But, of course, we both want to be number one, and we will do whatever it takes to be number one," he said.

About a possible match against "The Ruler"

"I think it's very exciting. We've seen Oba Femi in matches with Brock Lesnar, which have been incredible when you have these two huge guys hitting each other and doing incredible things, but I still think I bring a different dynamic to what Brock Lesnar does, where I am a bit more dangerous. I'm a bit more rugged. I'm a bit more on the edge. You're going to see some different things that you didn't see in those matches with Brock Lesnar. I'm going to push Oba Femi to the limit," he stated.

About his weight loss and how it will affect his performance

"I think, in my case, I have always been able to have a good physical condition to be a big guy. I move, and I can last in 15-minute matches, and so on, but now I'm entering the elite. I've worked with people like Roman Reigns, champions and such. And I want to stay on top in the main event scene. Now you're going to see me have 20-25 minute matches without running out of breath or even questioning the fact that, like, oh, maybe because he's bigger, he won't be able to last as long. So I think that's something important that I've noticed while training at the Performance Center, in the ring and such, that I simply have a much better physical condition. But you're right. Maybe there are some tricks from the top rope and different things I can do now and pull from my arsenal," he said.
