WWE will hold a new edition of Worlds Collide on Saturday September 26th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, the same city that will host the All Elite Wrestling PPV All Out that same night. However, unlike Tony Khan's company event, Worlds Collide will not be broadcasted on any channel. A non-definitive decision, but an intentional one. This was explained by the media outlet Fightful Select in its most recent report.

"Sources from WWE that Fightful Select spoke with assured that there is a good possibility that the Worlds Collide event will not be broadcasted live, although this situation could change by then. The show was promoted in Chicago as an alternative to counterprogram AEW All In, which will take place in the same city," the media outlet wrote.

"It is important to highlight that this situation could change, but WWE sources stated that, as of Tuesday, internally it was expected that Worlds Collide would essentially be considered a 'live event'. One of the sources we also spoke with pointed out that, if it is eventually broadcasted or streamed, it would probably be through YouTube or WWE Network," Fightful wrote.

"WWE has added big names to the show, with Rey Mysterio and CM Punk announced for the event at the Allstate Arena. So far, the show has been well received and has had a good response from the audience. We reached out to WWE to get their stance, but the company declined to comment on the matter," the report concluded.

At the moment, the company has confirmed only one match, where La Catalina will defend her recently won AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Roxanne Perez. It is also expected that CM Punk will be part of the action, being one of the main attractions of the show.
